I’m older so my hauling kids days are done, and reflecting back when I was young and single, my old regular single cab Ford Ranger was a perfect size for daily commute to work or driving to the hardware store. So, I would buy a regular cab with a gas only engine.
Other must haves, I like rear backing, cruise control, Bluetooth, pulling power, automatic transmission, good pickup for merging on the highway, and responsive steering, and lastly good gas mileage.

It won't be sold i the USA. But even if it is, it will not be any cheaper than our other pickup trucks.

I’d rather have the original 4 speed auto than the CVT. Thanks

If it’s a truck, it needs proper size engine to do some work. It’s not a car so don’t come with a small engine. For heavens sake, just build a sedan then cos it goes against it purpose.

You're absolutely right! Trucks need a powerful engine to handle heavy-duty work.

No they don’t have 8,000 or rven 16,000 dollar pickups coming to the US. US mandate for crashworthiness, rollover safety, airbags are all REAL. They won’t change. That means that those third world sh tboxes will never make it to the US. No amount of crying and conspiracy theory mongering will change reality.

Click bait. IF Toyota brought back a LITTLE pickup like they USED TO HAVE a looonnnnngggg time ago, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. TWO doors, six foot bed, 4 cylinders; that's what a LOT of us had twenty five years ago. Bring THAT back. Get rid of those stupid large McMansions on wheels.

If they bring us a 2-dr, 4x4, 6 ft bed, and a manual trans, I might consider it. But NOT with that stupid turbo they put in the Taco.
