Things like this aren't profitable anymore. Look up so same ipad minis for parts and the cheapest is 30$, others are as high as 100$. This is the same trend for most other broken electronics. The market got saturated by electronics repairmen and prices have been high on any broke items for the past year at least. There's no money to be made doing this.

Lets do the math here. You got one for 5.00, but showed us broken ones on ebay for 20. So that is more realistic. So 20 for a broken unit, 20 for a screen, sells for 80, ebay and paypal fees, 10, 80-10-70, then shipping 10, 70-10=60, replacement screen 20, 60-20=40, cost on ebay with shipping 20, 40-20=20 profit. Not taking into account your labor to fix the screen. Which can take from 20-60 mins. The first one is always the toughest. I can make more money with my time listing on ebay doing 50/50 deals with hoarders. Nothing like free inventory. Far better to find good units cheap and resell them. Another ebayer said, he works on the premise of 1/3. cost to acquire, 1/3 cost to sell, 1/3 profit. So if you sell for 90, expect 30 profit. I quit selling items under 20, no use making under 5.00 on most sales. In some cases with free shipping I was losing money.

eBay. Just do a search to see what that
Model has sold for recently and then list them.
