Hello Casey I have been selling parts from broken vacuums old stereo's and cameras just about anything electronic I will scrap it and then sell it on eBay. Doing pretty good on the sales. Good money in Vacuums!!!
well dang, over the years I've literally thrown away money! My old electronics break/die or stop working for what ever reason, I throw it in the trash I don't keep it laying around
I just sold a broken Epson Large format printer for $340. In reality, it was just a clogged print head but if it was working properly, I could have sold it for $500. The only issue, it's a huge item to ship. But it's still worth it since it only cost me $5.
Ricky T. You should've worked on it very easy to unclog. I ordered a cleaning kit on eBay, I'm not a tech repair guy and I did it in a couple hours throughout the week. I sold it for $650+ and charge shipping, pretty nice paycheck from a $15 buy cost yard sale item lol
Good advice I found my nephews broken Xbox 360 in my sisters garage, she was more then happy that I take it, I put it on eBay for parts sold for $ 50.00.
yep do it all the time... BUT theres lots to know, the main basic advise i have is make sure its quality high end items & make sure its got a strong resale value if working. Dont be buying things without searching & not only price searching, cuz you will find MANY times ebay is LOADED with that item, sellers all trying to undercut each other etc... will take you a long time to sell.

I recently bought an Amazon tablet from Goodwill not realizing it was a risk that it works or not because they don't put that it works or that they're selling it for parts and it turns out it doesn't work and I basically paid retail price just for the case that came with it. and I've been looking up a bunch of RUclips videos on how to take it apart and like how to fix things but I'm not a tech person and I don't really want to start messing with the tablet even if it may work because I don't even know the basic things about it. now is about to throw away the tablet because every tablet I've had that has been broken or has stopped working when I actually bought it from a store I've always throwing it away and I'm glad I came across your video that I could actually sell these things for parts without even really realizing it and just thinking it's trash by now because who would want something that doesn't work when I do take it apart everything looks good in the inside I'm I can't tell if the batteries just needs a new battery I don't know I can't o buy phones like when they're waterlogged and they start turning gray or how old cell phone batteries are and why they won't hold a charge but a tablet I don't know and it's like a gel battery it's not a hard case so I'm not even going to mess with it and thanks for your advice eBay I'm not doing so well as a new seller most of my sales on Facebook Market on apps like let-go OfferUp I think offer up sucks just as bad as eBay for me right now and so I'm going to try to sell the tablet for parts and see how it goes on the market thanks a lot keep up with those videos I watch you on the big screen usually through a fire stick TV really only watch you through my phone if I'm eating because I'm not going to be bringing the food into my room or the big screen is
You not helping people if someone seller on Ebay make good money doing this for long time and you tell thousands of people to do the same no one is going to make money
Hey Coco, on most topics I would agree with you. However on this topic, Casey said it right, it is a lot of work. Re-selling in general is not easy as a whole. When you add broken or part out to the mix, then you are adding even more work. This usually keeps competition at bay for the most part. There are more variations of broken electronics / parts than there are clothing options. You just have to know what you are doing. Not all parts or electronics are worth selling. I could talk all day about this. This is one of my business models. The only time you run into trouble with this is the same with any other category and that is people not pricing appropriately. That is what hurts the industry.
Coco, you can tell thousands about this niche but, very few will ever venture into this. The next day most people will keep looking for a better opportunity in something else. Besides there would be enough for everyone to profit . Stop worrying 😆

Most of us wouldn't KNOW what is wrong with a broken item. Can you just say that and still sell it? If so, how much should one lower the price.
You CAN list an item as "untested" or "broken, no clue". but not recommended. If you can't test it then you have to price at the low end of the scale

Depends on whats broken on it.. you can plug the hard drive into another computer and transfer it and clear it.
Only destruction of a hard drive.. Or bleach bit ... Learn from hillary..seriuosly..
