Noble Canyon Trail: San Diego's Best MTB Epic!

- You've ridden Aliso Canyon. You've ripped Greer Ranch. Anderson Truck Trails are your weekend jam. Southern California has some sick MTB destinations. But none of those spots are going to quench that thirst for backcountry adventure. That's why you ride Noble Canyon.
The climb is long has two stretches that burn, but it’s manageable… however, I think the single best ride in San Diego is shuttling all the way up to the top of Laguna Mountain and hitting a few high pine trails (starting at 6,100’) and riding all the way out. You ever want to hit it again and do that ride let me know… I enjoy playing tour guide on it. It’s 18 miles and about 4,000’ of descending. Great video!
Which trails up there?
This is why I'll never hike this trail, lol. Nice to finally get to see it :)
Why hike it when you can bike it!?
LMFAO..that opening was EPIC 🤣
Great vid! Very enjoyable. First time I rode that trail was in 1983 on my brand new Diamond Back Ridge Runner. My nephew and I were frequent flyers up into the mid 2000's. Love that trail!
Thanks bud! I can't even imagine ripping this trail with that older geometry/ suspension! You're a wild man!
@@DustyTrailsMTBWe waited quite a while for long travel and grippy disk brakes! Keep the dirty side down!
I rode this a number of times when I lived in Cali. I laughed as you were cussing out the initial climb, sounded familiar. Love this trail, hope to ride it again someday.
Gotta push through that suffer for the goods! I hope you make it back there someday, bud! Get it!
Gopro always makes it look so easy. I bought a mtb recently and was shocked at how hard riding trails like this is lol thatd be a nice hike while carrying a bike for me
That's the hard truth about GoPro footy! Keep it up tho! Ride what you can, walk what you can't. I'm still doing that. lol
Nice job @9:00 thats a tough spot
Thanks bud! I'm proud of that one. I don't think it's a feature I could clear every time I tried if I went back!
Great video!!
Thanks bud!
Nice riding.... you ripped through Stairway to Hell and all the other chunk.
Thanks bud! I thought I was crawling. I appreciate the encouragement! LOL
EXCELLENT!
Glad ya dig my dude!
loved it
Dude! I'm stoked to hear it! Thanks!
''I've ridden this many times, some of the video didn't look like anything I had seen on the ride before. Great riding on the parts that I remember, and aren't very friendly.
Hmmm. I wonder why it looked unfamiliar! But thanks! That trail is rowdy for sure!
Watching videos like this makes me want to start to get into biking on trails.
I support this 100%! Get out there bud!
bout to hit this tmrw, e bike it is lol
How was it? Did you make I through that one massive rock garden?
This is a shuttle ride
I dunno. Th climb is nothing to complain about. 😜
Intro is why they need to get with the times and let ebikes in.
wish i would have went here instead of san marcos when i was in San diego
That's the problem with all mountain biking. Once I think I've ridden a zone and "checked it off the list," I learn about more cool trails that I missed! Just gotta come back!
In BC yet?
Yep! Riding Alice lake today! Where you at bud?
@@DustyTrailsMTB I live in Whistler
Rode some trails with my 11 yr old, he needs to start riding the punchy bits and not rely on the lifts in the bike park. Sort of a tough love ride but he had his accomplishments, it was a great Father’s Day ride.
I will delete my number once you eventually text me.
I dont see your number
