Hey guys one of my favorite trails keep up the great videos I miss riding S.D. San Juan trail, Noble canyon, LA Costa, Bonita Valley. San Diego had it all.
Dude great video, you did great for not feeling 100%, plus not knowing the trail as well as Adrian, you kept it on the trail baby, there was some gnarl and jank- kudos!
In the 90s I lived in alpine and rode this trail everyday. I was riding a cannondale super V900. Complete with v-brakes and a triple clamp RST fork. I rode Anderson everyday rain or shine for years.
Sick video dude! Pretty cool to see you hit the local spot, 2.0 and F&L are so much fun! You’ve only scratched the surface so hopefully you get to come back out and see the rest of the trails.
Is this a legitimate area? I can’t find it on Trailforks and usually can never find anything in San Diego to ride when I go down to visit. Only recently found Teds which was cool but a lot of it way over my ability, still more fun then anything else out there though. I’m going down in about a week so I’ve been to Teds, I’ve heard of some stuff around sycamore but I think it’s actually in the base area?, never heard of Anderson. I need some spots to check out.
I used to ride ATT 1-2 times per week in 2004-2005, I rented a house down the road from the trailhead. My neighbors were pretty unfriendly, especially toward bikers. One neighbor, Bofus, built a 10 foot steel wall where the trail allegedly crossed his property. The trail was rumored to be on private property and not publicly accessible. The trail in this video only vaguely resembles the trail I used to ride, the reservoir looks different, like the trail is far to the north of the old trail. There weren’t any trail forks back then, just one trail. The sections had names like World Cup, waterfall and four corners. I kind of feel like this isn’t even the same trail, but you pranksters are calling it Anderson to throw people off its real location.
I appreciate the shout out for the healing vibes !! I love the channel man!
Right on no worries man and thank you! 🙌🏼

Cool vid . Haven’t been there in a long time… Wall of Bofus still there ?
Liking the bike? You don't miss the other more stable enduro bikes? (this bike may feel the same, I have no idea, just curious)
I’m absolutely loving this Primer S! I haven’t ridden anything where I needed more suspension or felt under biked so no 😬
I'll be there Wednesday AM
I'm going to be in Naval Base Sandiego sometime this summer and would loveto fgure out how I get to these trails from there?
Hey bro are you on 32nd street yet I’m stationed here too and looking for riding buddies
your chain didn't come off this time!! lol
It would be great to sTART with WHERE in San Diego these are? Did I miss it? I’m looking for spots more than just entertainment.
Sick as f**k
Anderson is underrated. You should have someone take you back out to Santee, they've been building.
For sure! And yeah hoping to get back out there soon 👊🏼

I get tired just thinking about Anderson
So worth the climb though!
