“They already working another build” oh, the logic says bug fixing, the copium says “please give the neglected kinetics projectile speed at least with that one”
I hope they revert the shao-wei heat changes and etsujin nerf. One of my lights got hit with 4 nerfs in one patch, down to his weapons, legs, and his very internals. Honestly nothing needed a nerf anymore, just buff stuff that's lacking behind.
@@Martial_Autist Shao Wei actually got buffed, produces less heat, patch notes are as usual, funny and Etsujin definitely needed to get hit, outperforming all kinetics sure was something, hell, probably it still outperforms them but the gap is smaller now
@@LuisAngelGamer Yeah it outperformed weapons such as ludlow and chang-chen, but that had more to do with how undertuned most kinetics are, in a vacuum it was just fine. They should just use it as an example of around where they should want those other two to end up. And are you sure about the shao-wei? Because patch notes do say increased attack heat buildup which should mean it overheats faster. I hope you're right though. Haven't been able to test it. My official save is waaay outdated (like 300h of playtime behind) and my co-op exe is currently broken due to the update so I have to wait a few days or so.
@@Martial_AutistI like the Etsujin nerf. They’re still really good, but now it feels like all the light machine guns/pistols have a place for certain builds, not just auto lock double Etsujin
What I hate is that unlike previous games that had variety, AC6 pvp only has huge open maps that encourages RATTING. Barely any maps with cover for normal KITES and where's the caged match arena so CQC builds can have some fun?
The ranked map pool is just a joke with how bad it is, the fact they added new tracks but not maps is just beyond baffling. Like the new tracks are great (massive missed opportunity by having no disc 3 rep though) but atleast of some of the missing custom lobby maps like Xylem.
Yo good cover video of the patch Striker! My initial thoughts (Pros, Cons) as someone who only plays teams casually. Cons --- I still think the Earshots should have been nerfed. So, I was a bit disappointed to see them untouched. I've had to resort to ratting in most teams since that's the only way to reliably fight against enemy earshot/phasan teams. And, even going full rat against earshot teams was still very difficult because if you get caught once, you die immediately. Pros --- On the flip side, they seriously buffed the back missiles, which means that ratting Earshot AC's is going to be more effective AND They nerfed Etsujin's which was one of the only weapons to reliably hunt down rats. So, on the good side, this will make rats more powerful, and harder to catch, which also gives people a way to take out earshot teams a bit more safely - As far singles go though, I don't think much will change as long as shields are still able to parry 5 times in a row with little to no risk. The Melee buffs don't really matter either as long as shields can spam parry, so Shield Zimm & Shield Lob will probably stay dominant for the next season -
My first impressions of the patch: First off, has anyone looked at nacht vs kasuar legs now? Kasuar is literally better in every way except for a little more weight, which is noticeable but at the same time RJ legs do work nicely for the kites that nacht would normally be better on. It has better jump stats to create more distance and a built in way to defend themselves in CQC with the massively juiced kicks that they have. By far my biggest gripe with the patch is nerfing nacht legs, absolutely unnecessary imo. Even if you want to say it was nerfing statue the problem with statue was the shield, not the legs. And that's my second gripe with the patch: I don't think PS was nerfed enough. They get 5 parries in a row instead of 6, but that only makes them weaker to something they were already weak to: sustained fire. It doesn't really help the more burst oriented builds that lose in the garage to it. Would liked an additional nerf to the cooling, which is what makes it truly feel unbreakable at times. But that isn't to say I don't like the patch, far from it. I've been having tons of fun playing around with some of the changes. As you mentioned, ducketts hit like a freight train now and it means there's finally another option for LW CQC. Vientos still have a niche with their consistency, but when ducketts work, they WORK. Arms getting better melee spec across the board is nice, Basho parts are slowly getting less polarized, Lamm got nerfed, and the Balem FCS's got good buffs too. Oh, and HMMR got nerfed... ...but the best buff of all is that "CONTACT WITH YOU" WAS ADDED AS A SONG IN THE RANKED MAP QUEUE LETS GO BEST SONG IN THE GAME!
I play lightweights, and I'm not a big fan of RJ legs. There's a noticeable mechanical difference in how RJ legs jump, even if the jump distance is similar between Nacht and Kasuar. RJ legs send you airborne when you boost. Which means if you boost twice in rapid succession, you're going to do an aerial boost instead of a grounded boost, so you're losing out on all the extra jump distance RJ legs give you. Someone will probably find some amazing build with RJ legs, and Kasuar might end up becoming meta over Nacht legs, but I'll stick with Nacht legs that keep me grounded when spamming boosts.
I'm gonna be honest here, I love that we got a patch (and I think that's where most of the hype is coming from), but I don't think it really did much to change the balance of power where it matters. I think they're being too conservative with changes... they're using a mallet where they need a sledgehammer. The same stuff that was strong largely remains strong. If you really wanted to shake things up, give the medium-short and medium range kinetic weapons like rifles and chain guns better velocity so sustained fire builds can flourish. Everything is so bursty...no real variety.
The aproach they are taking is making more stuff better so there is no need to hydrogen bomb something on the top but just slightly so is still good but not broken when compared to everything else, however im not a top ranked player or something so my words needs to be taken with salt
So what's the name for the "new" BVO? Duck? Duckblade? Waterfowl? It's kinda funny that so many builds are named after animals (LRBsters, Water Strider, etc.).
Honestly this might be my favorite patch because they not only did some sold buffs (wish the grenade launcher buffs where better but laser blade feels so fun now so eh) the nerfs felt impactful to be healthy for the game without it making stuff like PS unviable which was a problem i had with previous patches where they overnerfed stuff. Really excited for this patch
Honestly, I fell like melander core is underrated after its buffs, it's has better defences than mind alpha and lower weight at the cost of lower generator stats
Right? I think it's a solid alternative for LW and mid weight builds with lower energy requirements. Im currently running a LW melee build with verril head, alba legs, and melander core, and one of the arquebus arms. I have over 10800 AP and 1700ish stability. It's insane.
Was waiting for your video! No one on RUclips knows the meta like you do Btw you're cool man, you're a cool and respectful person, that's a refresher in the community 😅
The game still has a lot of flaws. But it remains a game I deeply care about. No patch will save AC6 until the netcode is fixed and we get a proper ranked system. I do think this patch has changed the meta for the better (besides LRB lol) but we will have to wait and see
Them changing the stats of the weapons is pretty cool. In fact after a hiatus i actually completely wiped my save to re-experience the game, so going back in with some changes will be cool. But… i really wish we got more than juts number tweaks lol, some new parts or weapons would’ve been awesome
Yayyyyy my AC has been Buffed.. I build to look cool and one of my favourite Ac builds I made was somewhat ok in pvp now It should be on par with a double zimm build
The chances of you firing all 16 duckette shots before using a QB to recover some of your recoil control is highly unlikely, so it is very easy to control the recoil of duckettes with any arm part with roughly 100 recoil control.
Is there a good website for stats on AC builds? It's hard for me to find the meta/off-meta without seeing a video on it. Or is it just word-of-mouth with this game and there's no real build database?
And Ransetsu AR remains untouched. If what you say is true and they kniw what they are doing, then they are *deliberately* ignoring a bunch of stuff that needs addressing.
I do think it's funny that people said firmeza was bad last patch... even though it was within 10 jump distance of the new alba leg jump distance. I actually think it might have a place, if for no other reason than that it lets you fit SAN-TAI alongside powerful weapons on an agile build, as a sort of "true" glass cannon. It's what I had to use since 1.03 to fit my dual Etsu's, SAN-TAI, and Majestic on my lightweight, since alba just had no jump distance at all and trying to make nacht legs work just meant losing a ton of defenses or downgrading my generator, though now I think alba is just better for it.
These are great changes for the meta, looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun. Sadly, my ping is still way too high (simply because of where I am in the planet compared to most players) to compensate for the absolutely terrible netcode, so I'll stick around to watch the tournaments only.
