Thanks so much for watching! 😊 With this video, we want to help you have an easier and faster delivery of your baby (second stage of labor). If, on the other hand, you want to know how to dilate faster during the first stage of labor (the dilation phase), then we kindly refer you to the following video: ruclips.net/video/meoul9vuddk/видео.html

She said put your palm below your knee and push hard as u wanna pass stool...bt i was comfortable in squatting position bt she said lie down straight and push as i said ..i wanna ask is it possible to deliver in squatting position?coz i was thinking i would be more comfortable in that...Finally i had my baby boy with normal delivery with 7 episiotomy stitches and mode of delivery was vacuum...jst in 4 hours i had my labor pains and baby too...this was my bby birth story...i jst wanna know i felt my dr jst for saving time she performed all this to me coz she and staff was repeatedly saying it too late we wanna go home...otherwise i felt i would delivery normal without vacuum and episiotomy whts your opinion on this hole story?? Hi there Shireen 😊,
it's great to hear from you! We hope you are doing alright!
Thanks a lot for sharing your birth story with us!
First of all, you are right: you need to be 10cm dilated, before you push. We find it odd that they let you push with 7cm. Are you sure you got that right? Because that can lead to all kinds of complications...
Second, yes, you can absolutely push your baby out in a squatting position. It is very common actually...
Third, it is very difficult for us to comment on the way your baby was delivered. In order to do that, we would need more information why they went for a vacuum delivery (by the way: episiotomies are almost always done with instrumental deliveries).... Can you give us some more information on this?
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

@@shireenshaikh7545 We find this very weird! Every woman is tired at that stage of labor. The only question is how the baby is doing. The only reason to have a instrumental delivery is when the baby's heart rate drops and needs to get out there quickly. As long as the baby is doing well, they normally tell you to keep pushing...
      Very strange.....

Thank you so much for great information, I am 34 weeks second pregnancy after 5 years my first son , and I want vbac this time , but Dr said it's dangerous because my thickness of the scar is 4.6 and it should be more than 6.0 ? Is it true ?

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 года назад

      Hi there! 😊
Thanks a lot for sharing your story with us!
First of all, we are about to launch a video on VBAC (hopefully it goes online next week). Interestingly, we only very briefly address the thickness of the scar because of one reason: if you talk to 10 doctors, you are going to hear 10 different opinions about how thick a uterine scar should be for VBAC. Also, there are not really any guidelines (at least not to our knowledge) from official bodies, like the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, in regards to the optimal thickness of the scar.
That said, some scientific studies say that the cut-off value for a good scar is 3.5mm, meaning, that if your scar is at least 3.5mm thick, then you are more likely to be a good candidate for VBAC.
But again, the opinions here vary greatly and differ from doctor to doctor (and from country to country)...
Therefore, what we recommend you to do is: get a second opinion (maybe even a third one)! It's the only way for you to find out what is considered a good thickness in your country!
      We hope this helps!
All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

      Hi there! 😊
Please don't be worried! 😊 On average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks!! So maybe, your baby just needs some more time! Also, keep in mind that things can sometimes suddenly go REALLY fast!
Do you know if your cervix is already soft? If so, acupressure, dates, birth ball exercises and reflexology could help! If your cervix IS soft, then reflexology, birth ball exercises, nipple stimulation and Castor oil could help.
We explain everything in detail in these two videos:

      Poor you! ❤️❤️
      Where are you from?
Yes, unfortunately, in some countries, doctors are more likely to recommend a C-section because they earn good money with it. That's the sad world we live in... 🙁
And then you can try all the tools in the world. If they don't let you wait for labor to start on its own or give you more time for the contractions develop (since apparently, they DID start), then what's the point of applying the tools?
That said: maybe you can take comfort in the fact that you can finally hold your sweet little baby in your arms!! 🥰

Unfortunately, when the baby's face is facing your front, then a normal birth is gonna be more painful (at least most of the times) because it is more difficult for the baby to descend in the pelvis. However, this does not mean that you cannot have a normal birth. The only problem is: it very much depends on the country and hospital. In some countries and hospitals, they just go for a C-section straight away instead of letting you try...

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 года назад

      Hi there! 😊
But please note that on average, a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. Therefore, you do not need to be worried about the fact that you are not feeling any contractions so far.
That said, there ARE things which have helped other women in similar situations to get contractions started (just keep in mind that this will only work if your body is ready for labor):
      1. Nipple stimulation (just keep in mind that it may not be done with a few minutes per day)
      2. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only)
      3. Acupuncture (this can work particularly well if your stress levels are really high; and please note: it has to be acupuncture; acupressure would most probably not help in your case)
      4. Exercises on a birthing ball
Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction.
We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: ruclips.net/video/8rehbupwhzY/видео.html (reflexology, nipple stimulation, Castor oil)
      ruclips.net/video/UgrbOc4cebY/видео.html (birth ball exercises)
      We hope this helps! 😊

If there is no medical reason for a C-section (AND if there is no medical reason that would speak AGAINST an induction), then you can certainly try an induction first. In most cases, an induction will help you have a vaginal delivery, unless of course, there are complications during your labor. However, there is no point in worrying about that now. 😊
So, don't worry! Talk with your doctor about an induction if that is what you prefer!
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  3 года назад +2

      Hi there! 😊
Unless there are other complications, an OP position of your baby does normally not prevent you from having a normal birth. Oftentimes, the baby rotates during labor. This process can be facilitated with the right kind of birthing positions. Your midwife should guide you!
That said, if the baby does not rotate, she can also be born facing mommy's tummy. The only thing we don't know is, is if this is something they let you do in EVERY country. Or if there are countries and hospital which advise against such deliveries. But in general, it is absolutely possible.
Please don't be scared about labor pain! There are many natural tools to help reduce labor pain and if that does not help, there are always other things, like an epidural, for instance... Also, keep in mind that billions of other women have done this before you!! You can do it as well!! 👍😊

Hi there! Thanks god they try an induction first! ❤
First of.all, if you can walk, try to keep moving as good as you can! It will help with the dilation. If you have a birthing ball, use it to keep moving in the way we show on our channel.
Moreover, try to relax! It makes things so much easier! Try relaxation techniques. Ask your partner to give you a massage! Whatever helps you relax. You can also try listening to a meditation track!
Try to stay positive!! You can do this, because BILLIONS of other women have done this before you!! If you have one, listen to a hypnobirthing mediation track!
Finally we have also published a video which explains how to make use of acupressure, nipple stimulation and reflexology to help you dilate faster!

    • @CareAboutLittleOnes
      @CareAboutLittleOnes  2 года назад +3

      Hi there Charlie 😊,
unfortunately, it does happen sometimes that women get stuck very early in their dilation process. However, it does not mean that something is wrong or that labor cannot proceed. It WILL proceed when your body (or baby) is prepared to do so...
There are several things which have helped other women in similar situations:
      1. Nipple stimulation (just keep in mind that it may not be done with a few minutes per day)
      2. Reflexology (same as nipple stimulation: it may not be done with a few minutes per day only)
      3. Acupuncture (acupuncture itself cannot induce labor; however, it can help in cases when a woman cannot go into labor because of high stress levels. So if you are really stressed, acupuncture could help)
      4. Exercises on a birthing ball
Of course, there is also Castor oil. However, personally, we always treat Castor oil as last resort simply because of the side effects. Also, you can never be sure if it is going to work... Still, it CAN be super effective for labor induction. Just discuss with your doctor first, if Castor oil is the right tool in your particular case...
We talk more about these tools and also how to apply them in these 2 videos: ruclips.net/video/8rehbupwhzY/видео.html (reflexology, nipple stimulation, Castor oil)
      ruclips.net/video/UgrbOc4cebY/видео.html (birth ball exercises)
And then of course, there is also relaxation: sometimes, the start of labor takes longer because stress hormones interfere with labor hormones. This can be a particular problem if fear is a topic (f.e. when a woman is afraid of labor). Anger could also be a reason. In that case, it can help to work on those stress levels, f.e. with the help of a massage treatment, mediation, yoga, whatever relaxes you. OR if it is indeed anger or fear, a therapist might help (or just talking with a friend).
      So that's that.
And then another reason why labor is sometimes not starting is when baby is not engaged and/or is in an awkward position in your womb. But please don't get us wrong: labor can STILL start under such circumstances. However, in such cases, women often find it more difficult to go into labor...
We just published a video about how to engage a baby: ruclips.net/video/A8_JTWASGHw/видео.html. Maybe you find it helpful.
In general, please keep in mind that a pregnancy lasts between 38 and 42 weeks. So, please do not be too worried right now about going into labor. It WILL happen...
      We hope this helps! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for the upcoming birth, for you and your baby!! ❤️

Please note that in this video, we tell women to start preparing their body for labor from week 37, which would be idea. But this does not mean that it won't work once you are in week 39...

      Hi there 😘,
first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your baby boy from the two of us!! 🥳🥳
We are sorry to hear though that you have an infection. Unfortunately, when it comes to that, taking medications is all you can do. In fact, it is very important that you take them so that the infection does not spread!
Unfortunately, natural remedies are too weak in such cases. At least, we have not come across anything that would help here...
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️

      Hi there 😊,
that depends: how far along are you? And do you know if your baby is engaged?

@@DivyaVelugula08 We do know many cases of women, who reported the same symptoms once baby was engaged.
That said, it could also be other things, like pelvic girdle pain.
However, as always, if you believe that something is not right, please talk with your doctor about it!
Unfortunately, we can only guess which does not help you...

      Hi there 😊,
please don't be worried at all!! You always have to keep in mind that BILLIONS of women have given birth before you! If others can do it, YOU can do it as well!! 😊
We wish you ALL THE BEST for you and your baby!! ❤️
