Battery power is nice and portable, not as much power as one I plug in. Big 7" is wicked powerful, scary to use at first! My uncle, built his own bowling alley, 20 lanes, cut his hand on a circular, so be real careful!
You've probably found it already by now, but there is an Allen wrench for the blade attached to the saw on the right side of the handle just above the battery port.
That hack using the angled ruler as your guide is genius. Definitely glad i watched this, can't afford to lose any finger's can continue my project Abit more confident.
Wow, what an exciting and unique unboxing and review. 🙄😬 I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone Struggle so, to get the cardboard off the saw! 😲😳🙄😬 Wow! From the train noise, or w/e, to the bouncing of the saw, and bangin into the camera, I cant decide which was more annoying. And the LOOONNNG blade change, oh my word! But you finally got it together, and kudos to you for your proficiency in cutting the boards. I’m dead serious. You cut it correctly Jim. 😁*applause* I was told way back, “blade side, waste side!” I see so many you tubers trying to balance the saw and cutting whilst balancing the saw on the narrow part of the base plate, ugh! And ‘Susie,’ she is a sweetie! 🐈 Any guy that likes cats is AOK in my book! Thumbs up, and please stay safe and Healthy! 👍👍👍👍✌🏻✌🏻😁🇺🇸
Can't stand filthy cats. And ya shojldn't wear glloves whilst using power tools especially circular saws. Sure wag to get get ya hand ripped off! Oh dear, oh dear!
Nice….I just bought a bunch DeWalts with a case at Home Depot for $400 for their Black Friday sales. The Alan wrench is on the right side, down next to the battery.
@@JimVincitore Hi Jim.I feel one needs to feel any power, or indeed, manual tool, next to their skin, to help feel the job better! With power tools gloves are also a potential, to get in the way, especially the big thick clumsy ones.... All the best!
Thank you for this video from a person who is trying to research how to use a dewalt power tool as a new beginner with circular saw.

Let me know if you find a video on how to put a blade on, I need to watch it too!
Don't use gloves whilst cutting. Very dangerous! Oh dear!!
Hi Kevin! Why is that? I know I've gotten rubber gloves caught in a drill, they spin around and tear off...that's no fun either.
