As soon as i started the gameplay i knew there was only one real objective: catch em all, then catch arceus. Clear as day.
The playthrough started with my boy cyndaquil and ended with the full squad of Typhlosion, Scizor, Porygon Z, Garchomp, Vaporeon, and Torterra. Caught them and everyone else along the way- truly was a great time catching em all. Catch a torterra btw might be the quickest walkthrough on how to win the game
Battles went by so fast and exploring was super rewarding, so i had so much fun just searching around the map and catching em all! The hisuian forms were definitely a treat to see- my favorite part of pokemon is finding new fellas i’ve never met and falling in love with them
Some of my favorite designs were definitely kleavor, goodra, overquil, arcanine, sneasel, and voltorb. Not to mention the super cool dialga form (rip palkia lol)
Character designs were also great. Professor laventon was my pal, despite not being named after a tree. AKARI THE HOMIE, her face was definitely a highlight of the game haha. Beni was cringe. IRIDA THE GOAT probably my favorite character of pokemon legends of arceus, felt like a little sister i was rooting for!! Adaman had an amazing design as well, diamond clan rise up. Volo was a cool fella as well, another favorite to come out of the series!! Really lived up to the cynthia bloodline by being super cool
Like i said fellas my final review for pokemon legends of arceus is a solid 8/10. Game doesn’t have the best pacing on the story or the most polished graphics but the catching em all aspect ((which is arguably the most important part)) was nailed. Highly, highly recommend if you’re a pokemon fan that isn’t as big on the competitive aspect and has more interest on the catching aspect

Honestly Nick's non-smash content is such a treat on the channel that more people need to watch. Your playthroughs of games are better and more entertaining than most channels that specialize in that. Can't wait to watch this.

Watching Nick steamroll every story beat because he spent so much time goofing around vs me going into the final battle against a level 65 Palkia with my Decidueye being my strongest pokemon at level 50 really shows the open-ended nature of this game. I for one am a fan. Granted, one could also say how it proves Pokemon is too easy, but I'm a glass half full kind of guy
I like that Kamado’s team is based around evolutions.
He has a Braviary (level evolution),
Snorlax (friendship evolution),
Heracross (Mega evolution),
Golem (trade evolution),
Clefable (Stone evolution),
Probopass (area evolution),
And Ursaluna (time, item, and area evolution).
Because Professor Rowan studies Pokémon evolution.

I just realized Nick played the entire game without knowing you're supposed to throw the balms whenever there's orbs above the Pokemon to stun them

I also wanted Arceus to use judgment on him in the fight to his reaction to getting destroyed but Arceus didn’t use it

Nick getting the shiny Kricketot reminded me of my Let's Go playthrough. My 3rd encounter was a shiny Weedle. I named her Vanessa after the Bee Movie character and she stayed on my team for the entire game. She was awful, because she was a Beedrill going up against the Elite 4, but still has a soft spot in my heart

Actually “laventon” is named after lavender which is a plant that can become tree-like. It’s almost like a young tree like how this is an earlier point in time.
