To be fair, this is as much memory as any other lineup. It's just more universal. There's functionally no difference to remembering distances in relation to an imaginary bar and remembering a pixel to aim at from a certain spot.
If you're having trouble seeing the sky pixel, try anisotropic 1x, experimental sharpening, and improve clarity in graphics settings maybe? Haven is still pretty hard to see though.

The longest distance you can achieve with snakebite is 45°, and from 45° the more you aim up, the higher you shoot, the closer it will land (since 90° = it lands on you (even before 90° somehow)). As he mentionned in the video, without HUD it's hard to estimate at which angle you're shooting, and the point of the video is that you can actually align the "north star" of every map that happen to be 90°, with your HUD (crosshair/top screen) to shoot at exact angles, corresponding to exact distances. That's pretty dope.

Little tip for people who have problems finding exact angle. For molly - Viper `s right hand pointing finger is the point for 50% or 35 meters and thumb is 100% or 58 meters. You can line it up with some enviorment elements if you have some building ot tree close to you.
So I learned it and tried it in games and it actually worked really well. My main problem at first was accurately hitting the mollies based on the percentage but I just drew dots with dry erase until I got the hang of it. AMAZING video Jin once again. Basically rendered regular mollies obsolete (unless u want a quick lineup for default). I also realized that I DONT main viper but I think imma switch over now. Controller agents are better suited for me anyways and I hate entry fragging. Also for those who may not have caught it in the video, even if it's a tiny hook or a little plant, the molly will detonate on contact. The molly can also bounce off weird corners like the corners of A gen on Ascent which may cause the molly to fly into deep gen plant or mid box plant. The last part of the video that talks about elevation are REALLY important because of this. Thank you once again, Jin. I know this is a long comment (my longest probably ever) but I really do appreciate these videos and most likely, so does everyone else. You are truly the big brain viper main. tip for brim molly: his molly bounces about 7 meters before it explodes, make sure to count that when lining everything up. Update: mistake, bounce distance varies. I've seen bounce distances from 3-7 meters. For most situations stay around 5

I did actualy practice an angel that I pretty much knew where the molly would land. The problem was that I did not have any rules or reference points on it, so it was very inconsistant, so I was too afraid to try it in comp. This will help me to get it more consistant. So thank you, I am greatful
small helpful tip, when you hold your wall it'll show a line on your minimap of where it'll cover, and your wall is about 60m, so if you line up the sky pixel for ~60m then itll just land at the end of your wall line assuming the terrain is even

Tried it out, I use only 35m, 58m and 49m. It really does work and common mistakes are correct power but shooting too far to the left or right, messing up the power due to elevation, obstacles on bomb sites messing with your snake bites, wrong estimation of 50/75% power and being unable to find the sky pixel.

The way viper molly works makes it so that even if they were full hp there they would've died dont matter if pheonix got it half they had 3-5 secs and kj wont be on top of pheonix because the molly was there and that means that they would have died, Viper molly does like 30-50 a second too

I know some people dislike Viper and her playstyle because it does kind of force you to learn the game mechanics and multiple line ups, but the investment time is so worth it.
Tbh you don’t need to. Write it down. Then start with 50% first and then you can work on 25% and 75% and then you can work on the “middle” of 0-25 25-50 50-75 75-100. After a while you’ll get used to it.
i tested this with killjoy and if the sky pixel is at the point under the match timer, it’s at 35m. if the sky pixel is at the very top of the screen above it, it’s at 40m

FYI Kay-o knife and two charge sova darts are the same as viper mollies. Kay-o and killjoy’s grenades are the same as viper’s smoke orb
Fun fact, Brim molly has the EXACT same arc, it just bounces a couple times. Makes it harder but solvable.

Go to 4:17 and pause the moment he closes his map, you can then use the arrow keys to go back and forth and cycle through each chart.

that’s without jumping. with jumping, the meters increase by 5. so the max distance that can be thrown while the sky pixel is still on screen is 50m.

Not even viper main. But this makes me able to play viper and made lineups. This is crazy. The moment you understand this you dont need any lineups.
