@@alanpulido3205 Or is that they read the card but didn't understand the rules about replacement effects? Because they said rules screw ups don't count.

Should be the opposite :P Who's at fault here? Not sure, Jeremy and Jon seems to suggest the wrong effect, while Steven did play the card. LOL.
@@kandjar Jeremy picked up 2 cards in one motion, you can see them when he holds them over the battlefield. Steven drew 2, 1 from Arcane Denial and then the 2nd as draw from turn. Seems good to me
Great decision on the -2 point rule. Gonna force Stephen, Jon, and Corey to read new cards better. I can't remember the last time Jeremy misread one. Rtfc is very important and I'm glad it's being enforced. Good luck, have fun!
Mindskinner is a replacement effect. You can't apply two replacement effects to the same damage. So they turn 10 damage into 10 cards milled, not into 10 + 10.
I've been questioning this for years, but honestly, I think the new rule is going to be very fun, because it will help them learn what cards do, and they will be cracking jokes about it the whole time.
I’ve been saying for YEARS that 4 players, plus a producer, one of which was a pro tour player, missing as much as they do was ridiculous. So I’m going to love this new rule.
9:16 All that was missing was Corey blinking something in morse code. "Jon is a secret Sliver lover." 20:21 Jeremy just saved Jon from losing 2 points. What a bro.
Ill never forget the episode jon played approach of the second sun the first time and everyone just assumed he won the game i was so confused as to what happened😂 so its funny he made that rule good luck😂😂
From a viewer standpoint I appreciate this new rule because there were a couple games that were unbearable to watch due to playing things wrong. I get it, it happens to everyone and everyone makes mistakes.
when playing They Came From the Pipes you resolve the manifest dread twice before drawing any cards because the etb ability of manifest dread twice is all one abiliity and you need to finish resolving the ability before going to the second ability of draw a card when a face down creature enters
(The second "prevent effect" doesn't work, all damage has been converted to mill, there's no more damage to prevent) From the gatherer: 20/09/2024 If you somehow control more than one of The Mindskinner, the multiple replacement effects will have no effect. Damage dealt to an opponent by a source you control will be replaced only once with that opponent milling that many cards. EDIT: But you get the 🐛🐛🐛scute maths in the end quite right . GGs,

World spine wurm is discarded and returns itself to the Library. Then when mesmeric is resolving it just loops through the orbs effect mill replace -> library continue mill
Great new rule, love that it's a way to lose points rather than gain more points. Just hope this doesn't incentivise intentionally missing something to make the person lose the points.
He said he didn't. Kudos to whomever built the deck for knowing it needed that contingency. I've been playing Zimone in my Sidisi list and when the manifests get rolling, you run out of deck real quick.
I love this pod because depending on what decks and who’s playing how I find myself rooting for a different player and wishing for the inglorious downfall of another almost every game. Happy New Years to y’all and to many more fantastic games and hilarious moments.

You have enough lands for scutes. You have 1 scute and 1 copy. 2 lands come into play. The first gives you 4 total including the original. 2nd land makes 8. Entering at the same time doesn't matter. They trigger separately.
I think you might misunderstand, or I'm misunderstanding you. If you have 2 Scute Swarms, and 2 lands come in to play at the same time (Entish Restoration), both of your Scute Swarms see 2 lands come into play, and they trigger twice each, so you get 4 triggers to make a copy Scute Swarm. None of the 4 newly created Scutes will see lands entering. Therefore, they do not trigger. 2 Scutes + 2 Lands entering at the same time = 6 Scutes.
@@PaulMFDouglas Each land is a separate trigger even if entering at the same time. So your 2 scutes see a land enter and double then your 4 scutes see the other land enter and you have 8.
@@OmegaMTG yeah its not though. they trigger at the same time and both of the lands do create a seperate trigger but they still only see whatever scutes were in play at that time they triggered. i play it alot irl and on arena
