The 80 Dryad that Jon made are land creatures. They would have triggered landfall on the nantuko. He could have tapped his 70 clue and food tokens for mana, paid 2 for 35 nantuko triggers and made 70 more academy manufacturers with doubling season. The rest of the nantuko triggers would have made 90 insect tokens. He then would have had 73 academy manufacturers to make 3 to the Nth (73) minus 1 x2 tokens LMAO
Unless I'm mistaken Corey should have 34 points after this episode, not 33. He had 31 points going into the episode. Then he got +2 points for coming in 3rd place for the game and +1 point for first blood. It seems like first blood wasn't counted. Edit: Also seems like Stephen got an extra point for.... something? He had 31.5 at the start of the episode and listed as having 33.5 at the end of the episode which would be +2, but he got last place for the episode so that should have only been +1 for a point total of 32.5.
Jon should make 3x 9(clues,food,treasure) 27 tokens and then double it to 54 everytime he would make any single one of those tokens. Each copy Academy Manufactor raises the power of 3 by 1. A fourth manufactor would make 81 tokens before parallel lives. A fifth manufactor would make 243 tokens, a sixth would make 729 tokens, etc... Having multiple copies of manufactor makes your brain hurt with how much math you need to do by making a single food/treasure/clue token
@@pathora4484 One Academy manufactor makes one token into one of each. The second turns them into three of each. The third one into nine of each. Then paralell lives makes that 18. I think their math is correct
So, I bought Hazel's deck and didn't upgrade it at all. The deck simply works. It's very powerful and I felt that if I upgraded it, it'd go out of control. Now I know that's exactly what would happen.
It seems like the squirrel theme is kinda of a trap. She and Baylen sound good with clues and gold tokens, since the tokens don't need to tap to do their effects.
Thank you I just got to that point as well. Clearly Stephen forgot that his commander had died since the last time he threatened Corey with the swat lol
I actually believe each instance of academy manufactor would get parallel lives'd. So Jon creates a copy of a token. That doubles before the first AM sees it. That first AM would create 2 of each, but instead, creates 4. Then the next AM sees 4*3 instances of its replacement affects, so it starts to make 12 of each, but instead, makes 24. Then the third AM would see 24*3 instances of its replacement affect, so instead of 72, it instead creates 144 copes of each a treasure, clue, and food. If I'm wrong with sequencing, let me know.
Both the Manufacturer and the Parallel Lives are not triggers ("when x do x") but replacement effects ("if x INSTEAD x") and each instance only activates 1 time on the stack. So 1 token generated > Manufacturer 1 turns it into 3 > Manufacturer 2 turns it into 9 > Manufacturer 3 turns it into 27 and then Parallel Lives doubles it to 54 (18 of each token). You decide the order in which the replacements happen so you could also go: Treasure created > PL doubles it to 2 treasures > AM1 turns it into 6 > AM2 turns it into 18 > AM3 tuns it into 54. In this case the order doesn't matter. I'm a noob but I had to look all this up to check what happens with Tireless Provisioner (landfall = 1 treasure), Peregrin Took (if x tokens, instead x tokens + 1 food) and Chatterfang (if x tokens, instead x tokens + x squirrels) and Parallel Lives in play. And in this case you have to do the math to order the replacements correctly to get the most tokens: 1 Treasure > Peregrin = 1 treasure + 1 food > Chatterfang = 1 treasure, 1 food and 2 squirrels > PL = 2 treasures, 2 foods, 4 squirrels. Basically always do additive replacements (like Peregrin) first and multiplicative replacements (Parallel Lives) later.
Yes but even if he swatted the first one he just responds by putting all the triggers on the stack anyway or the last one they are already on the stack. It does nothing.
I don't know why Jon thought it would be a loop when they're all replacement effects. They just stack on top of each other and you just multiply the numbers. I know Jeremy stated after the fast forward that you guys figured it out, but it really wasn't that difficult to start with, it's just simple multiplication.
It's honestly kind of niche to know replacement effects can't replace the same event more than once. A lot of people think each replacement effect is kinda making a new event, giving a chance for some other replacement to act. It's the same reason the manufacturers don't just keep replacing one another to infinity. It doesn't work that way but it _feels_ like it does to a lot of players. Also, if there's 3 manufacturers, wouldn't it be even more? 1 -> 3 -> 9 -> 27 * 2 = 54?

S-Emma here, glad you got the S-Deck! Sorry it got stuck in the tube, note to others, don't use poster board. I hope you enjoy it!
Stephen might go blind staring at that neon paper while he writes it all out. Great idea! Lol

Jokes on you. That pile of cards is on my kitchen table because I don't have a desk!
I had to buy a basket to keep mine from falling off my desk.😅
That's some good ambiance. Dinner with candlelight and stacks of unsorted cards.
Jeremy is back home! Kinda wanted to see him win the season. He still could, there's hope #teamjeremy
As could the jets. All we can do is hope right?
