FYI: I have found that the best & easiest way to flatten out the paint is using your finger without a glove on. A bit messy, but works so much better. Also, use the smaller brush.
You're supposed to dab the paint next to the chip so when you move it with your finger, it fills the void rather than pull the paint out.
When using the squeegee you must apply the paint right next to the scratch and then use the squeegee to apply the paint going over the scratch, that way you don't take off the paint!
I had big gouges taken out of my bumper from an altercation with a concrete pillar. Filled it up with the paint and have left it dry a while. I’ll be wet sanding and polishing to soo how it goes. Not the nicest looking for now but hopefully once the weather improves and I get to sand and polish it’ll look better. I’ve a 2011 C7 so won’t be spending a fortune on it.
"altercation with a concrete pillar"
I like how you put that 😂
It was one of these stupid things when I wasn’t 100% paying attention.
Was reversing into my driveway on a stormy night (very tight 90 degree turn). Not paying attention and decided halfway in to put it in a different part of the drive. No sensor went off so I kept going. Scraped it off the pillar and took the bumper off. Lucky there wasn’t more damage. Got replacement brackets and bar the big scrape you wouldn’t know. Sickened me when it happened though.
I'm a simple man - I see a new Audi C7 Owner video - I watch and like 👍

The support is appreciated very much 🤘🏻
Ugh. I keep finding your videos. First the a139 pro, now this and because of a reason. My A5 has less than 200 miles on it and got 3 rock chips on the hood. Arrgghh. I ordered this kit hoping it makes it look better than it is now.
Nothing beats body work, but this stuff helps a lot. Good luck.
Am I the only one that still sees it?
Yeah I was thinking the same thing lol. I can’t see it like bro it’s still there haha.
Great videos brother
Thanks man!
Nice bumper! Are your wheels still the stock 20s? I couldn't tell 🙂
They are 20's, but not Stock anymore.
Awesome man ima have to order that for my Honda civic
If I’m gonna clay bar. Should I clear bar first. Or fill in the rock chips first
Clay first
I still c the chip!
"see" is two more taps. You can do it.
Hey man, today I had some damage happen to my front bumper and damaged quite a bit of paint. What do you suggest as the best solution/repair/replacement? 2016 c7.5 a6 prestige
How big of an area?
using rubbing alcohol wont damage the clear coat? I have a small little chip new owner to a 2023 Honda Civic Sport Sedan and grass was being mowed and i assume a rock got my trunk and saw the chip. Its very small, but knowing its there bothers me and it is a new car i just want it fixed and perfected. Im just extremely OCD
Rubbing alcohol is perfectly safe for clear coat
Hey hot bumper where did you say it was from...
Thanks! It's from Canadian Auto Performance 👍🏻
@@AudiC7Owners thanks for your prompt reply
@@juanborjas2837 Check out the video we just uploaded if you want to know more about the bumper.
Will that paint remover harm a ceramic coating??
I'm not sure. But the way I approached it was that I needed for the new paint after it cured anyways so it didn't really make a difference for me.
Xpel. Can’t go wrong with that.
I wanted to do ppf but I got chips before the paint cured 😔
hello, i have a 3.0t engine crec code
is it possible to modify the gen. 2 06E145105R compressor clutch for a more durable, stronger one?Because it wants to increase engine power.
Thank you in advance
You can increase the power with pulley and ECU upgrades, but it isn't as good as the CTUB 3.0T's
I bought some.
I just want that front bumper
It's so perfect on these cars
You need to actually spend way more time to get it fixed. I had a paint chip that is 3x smaller and 2x less deep than yours and it took 6 applications and about 3 hours of work. You really have to put in a lot of time to fix a paint chip with these products.
just dont flatten it out just use a bit of paint to fill the chip so its higher then the rest of the car paint and let it dry overnight and the nex day take some realy light sandpaper and sand it down. and after you polish it. what you are doing with your glove and that whole kit that doenst work brother.
Works really well for me... I'm just going by the directions of the company. If I were to fill it that much to sand it down, I'd also want to clear it. I'll worry about completely filling the chips when I'm ready to wrap the car.
Can this touch up paint be sanded afterwards and polished?
No. It isn't designed for that
@@AudiC7Owners oh dann. I'm returning it then . So what happened if the paint needs to be sanded down the road for other corrections?
You will likely have to reapply. If you sand the touch up it could pull it out of the imperfection.
@@AudiC7Owners yeah , just wondering if it's sandable and polishable. Of this isn't for that
