  • President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to sign the National Health Insurance (NHI) Bill into law on Wednesday.
    The public signing ceremony will take place at the Union Buildings.
    Since the announcement of the bill, there have been mixed reactions to whether or not it can lead to the kind of transformation needed in the healthcare sector.

    Of course wealthier South Africans can afford better services and goods. That's simply how it works. Soon the cANCer will want wealthy people to drive the same cars as the poor, and those cars will be supplied by government and overseen by the minister of transport. 😂😂😂

    They are going to manage it the same way they manage the road accident fund. Unfortunately, South Africa can't afford it.
