It looks beautiful, but I can’t believe that you didn’t do any wood burning like the last one. I’d never seen the process before and thought it was awesome. Safe travels and can’t wait to see where this next “season” of adventures takes you.

I feel like the wood we used last time was way more suited to it cause it had such a defined grain and cool knots. With the birch ply it is so flat the burn would have looked just black. This next season is going to be a good one!!! so excited to have you along for the ride!!!

Fantastic result but have to ask why yellow curtains not threaded onto pole using eyelets? Also why did you put see through panel above front seats. Don't remember that atall in main vlogs. Hope don't have too many niggles once hit road (always some) and that have even better living environment. 😎
The pole doesn't fit in that area. Since building that area have upgraded that spot with a track that the curtin sides on we got it from ikea and it works great. I would really like to know what you think of the incredible elephant in the room of the RV industry that nobody seems to be talking about. In about 12 months vans with fully electric power trains will start rolling off assembly lines. No more Lithionics. No more Volta. Will anyone want gas or Diesel engines and the price of fuel? It may not be possible to unfold enough portable solar panels to go totally off the grid, but there will be some who will be willing to pack enough to significantly subsidize their travels. Any thoughts?
Van/ Rv's at the moment can only go 100-150 miles on a charge for converted electrical vans with no loads in them.. What we do you kind of need the gas or diesels well atleast till the tech is more advanced. There would have to be charge stations all over for it to be a usable way to travel for van lifers like ourselves. It might be OK for Rvers that stay in camp ground that have full hook ups and now they will need a electric hook up to charge there rig also which will come at a cost to the rver. The reason why we live in a van is so we can get fully off grid for 2 week at a time with no generator or hook ups.
