  • What are you supposed to feel in Virabhadrasana A?
    That really depends on where your body tends to hold its tension! It could be that you feel a stretch happening in your hips, thighs, shoulders or even in the back.
    But this posture offers a great opportunity to get a deep stretch in the hip flexors and quadriceps - the muscles in the front of the hips & thighs. We don't get so many opportunities to do this in the Primary Series so why not seize the chance?!
    Check out my tips on how to access these muscles whilst you're in the pose, along with lots of other tips and tricks for a strong Warrior Pose.

    This has been the easiest explanation for me to understand. Very well presented, there are lots of instruction out there, yours is the only one I’ve seen with proper shoulder position explained completely. Thank you, this has helped me with the early stages of my practice. Much appreciated
