Excellent video with measured progressions towards final pose. In our yoga class (I am just a yoga student), beginners are encouraged to use three different heights of the yoga brick to place the palm of the lower hand. This helps beginners to focus on the twisting and balance elements. As the beginners practice consistently, they find that they can lower brick gradually down before they don’t need it anymore.
Yes it is hard! Definitely the hardest pose for me in the standing sequence. As discussed with you a few months ago, if I'm doing the prayer modification, I feel a lot more stable skipping the progressions and coming straight into having my back heel on the ground. I'm currently doing the progressions again as I'm trying to get my hand down to the ground - or at least on to a block. I still need to get more twist, though🙁.
Hey dear...you are amazing... Thank you for wonderful drills. I really enjoy your videos and they have really helped in my astanga journey... Thank you again
