Kalmah is the band that opened my world to metal.
They have never been surpassed. They are my idols. They have produced some of the best melodic metal ever made. This is a great day.

God I love this band so much and this is one of the best songs of the new album🤘I would also like to recommend lovers of melodeath and folk/viking metal to check out Evilon's album "A Warrior's Way". They have been compared to Ensiferum, Nightwish, Amorphis, Wintersun and Amon Amarth👌💪
This and Drifting in a Dream are the best for sure. Evilon is great too👍

the lack of folk in kalmah has been one of the main reasons I've liked them for 22 years.

Why is the cymbals so loud in the last couple albums? It feels like that’s all I can hear. I do not like the production of these albums as I did with their other albums. The black waltz sounds the cleanest for sure.
