This record could not have been broken by a more humble, steroid free hero of the Bronx. That the record set by two Yankees was broken by another Yankee, 61years after Roger Maris (1961) and also in his (like Maris') 161st game. So proud for you, Mr. Judge. From an Atlanta Braves fan. -There was a controversy about whether or not Kay would be able to make the calls cuz the national networks had picked up a few of the games. All for nought because he winded up making all 3 calls.
-He paid homage to Phil Rizzuto’s 61 call for Roger Maris by saying “this could be it!”
