So many of you guys mentioned that you liked the look of my hairless and white arm pits and as weird as that sounds you inspired me to make a video! Why not :) I hope you enjoy this hair removal story where I used laser hair removal to keep my armpits permanently hairless. This really beats waxing at home, shaving and hair removal cream in the long run. It feels like zaps :) a bit painful!
Sorry I don't have any tips for armpit whitening but I'm sure some of you guys can contribute some good information in the comments section.

Your "logic" is not the same as TzeKiu Ha, who makes a good point. No on should be ashamed. It is your choice to shave or not. No one should be shamed into doing it, though.
There's nothing wrong with liking the feeling after shaving either. Some people chose to keep their hair, some people choose not to. It's not something to make a big deal out of.

They’ll find anything at all the give them a “reason” to bully others. I just entered my 20s very recently and I’m still bullied. I guess I’m an easy target because I’m quiet and kinda shy and don’t stick up for myself. I’ve never had self confidence and I still don’t. I’m quite the opposite of someone with high self confidence because I have self hate.

Don't shave your arms. Arm hair don't get long quickly, so you can use wax or epilator once or twice a month.

Who cares if it hurts - as long as it's effective. I have such huge problems with thick hair and shaving them that I'd be willing to endure almost any pain to get rid of this nightmare. Unfortunatelly, with me the laser did not work almost at all.

Hey guys for everyone who gets those back little annoying stubs here's a tip.
Instead of just taking your razor and shaving in one direction do every single direction. Sideways, up, and down. This little tip worked for me so hopefully it will work for you!!! Comment and tell me how it went!!!
So every day to every other day I'm shaving broken burning skin. Even whn I wait a few days til it heals up, as soon as I shave it again it happens again. So it always looks lik I'm never freshly shaved even whn I am. It has always been an embarrassing thing for me since I first started shaving.

Try to melt your soap and mix it with saffron, it will eventually give u really thin hair/no hair. It takes time tho
Laser hair removal only works on darker hair. If you have blond or red hair, it doesn't work. Why, cruel world, why? Why finally coming up with a product that would work perfectly for hair removal without all the itching and pain, but only for people with darker hair?! What are redhaired people supposed to do, huh?!

I have copper-red hair, and I am extremely sensitive to temperature. I get hot and cold very easily, but then again, that's what people with red hair are known for. More sensitive to temperature and pain.

I did laser hair removal for my under arms too. I am a dark brunette, and while I am not too hairy, about average, I got tired of shaving my underarms often. I really hated it during the heat, so I decided to get that done and I paid a little money every month for a little while and it was so worth it. It has been years and I occasionally have a stay hair that grows and I will just shave it every few months after looking.

Why are girls so ashamed of their body hairs? It's natural, everybody has hairs like everywhere on their bodies
Unfortunately there is still a social stigma on the issue which can lead to being embarrased even though there SHOULD be nothing to be embarrased about :( I personally feel more comfortable with no hair just bc i don't feel as sweaty/smelly as i would with the hair, but that's just me. I think it's totally ok to be hairy as well.

I'm 14 and have been getting my body waxed since I was 9. Everybody said it was disgusting altho it's normal because we are mammals and mammals have hair everywhere.

My hair is thick, long, I have a lot of hair. I was not blessed with the barely-any-hair gene that most Asians seem to have. My mom seems to have that but I don't. PLUCKING IS SUCH A F---KING PAIN AND TAKES TOO LONG!!! But if I try to shave, its basically all stubble the next day. WHY MUST I SUFFER LIKE THIS?!?! *sob*

Her armpit's smoother than my face
I lasered mine after years of waxing and I found that it was the best thing. I finished my sessions, and just bits of hair would grow every 6 months or so and I get top up once a year. After trying waxing, shaving, epilation and removal creams, I think laser is the most effective. I have fine black hair so it was effective, but I heard it does not work as well on blondes and light coloured hair. Dark hair and light skin seems to be the most suitable.

Yes you can get it but only with newer lasers that are specifically built to target lighter hairs like Alexandrite (Cynosure), so it would be best to go to a bigger reputable clinic than a small one as it would have more than one type of laser. Also, there is a product called Meladine, which is a spray to temporarily increase the melanin in hair but I'm not sure about the success rate.

It costed about 395 euro for 6 underarm sessions, and it depends on the clinic but usually around 50 for one-off underarm.

Hello guys!! I'm interested in doing laser hair removal for my armpits but i was wondering: is laser safe? Because when i mentioned it to some people they told me that it could be harmful (ex. it could be harmful to the skin or it could potentially cause other health problems)... However my beautician told me that it's completely safe!! If someone knows more about that, or has tried laser can you please let me know, because i really want to try laser treatment so that the hair will be completely gone :)

lilypippili buy an Epilator!!! it's like waxing but instead the machine is full of a bunch of tweezers and pulls the hair out. Takes forever to grow back, the hair grows back thinner, and the annoying darkness goes away over time
You accept them and stop being ashamed of them
Its a long process but I always pick them with a tweezers xD
DahliaKokoro i think you guys are misunderstanding me, the problem isnt that the hairs aren't going away (my armpit hair is very thin actually) it's just that the skin there is literally darker for some reason and i don't know why D:
lilypippili Ooohhh. That's probably due to dead skin or hormones. If it doesn't lighten up after a couple months of extra exfoliating, it might be caused by your hormone balance. It's the same thing that makes some girls have dark skin between their thighs and why pregnant women get a dark line on their stomach.
I've always had dark pits too, but they've lightened up a lot with heavy scrubbing. There's some suggestions below for solutions for the same thing too.
GAH I wish I could do this ;-; but I'm only fourteen and don't have any money to buy wax or anything like that and my mom will only buy me razors...which is better then nothing but..yeah..I just always wear long sleeves even when it's hot
I think you should let your body develop properly before you try hair removal, most professionals would say that 14 is too young. Grow it out lol and it will be better for you in the long run
You can still do laser hair removal at a young age, it just takes a few more sessions and about the pricing, the only thing you can really do about that is wait for specials or convince your mum that this is something you really want to do

Laser hair removal is the bomb. In the long run it's cheaper than buyng razors and shaving cream and all that and it's SO care free being so hairless! I got my whole body (and I mean /everything/) for about $3000. Call dermatologist offices and waxing places and get consultations to see what their prices are. AND make sure they're using the right laser. Some places use lasers that aren't actually meant for hair removal and they'll use ultrasound gel because they have to protect your skin from being burned. That is NOT the laser you should be using. You definitely want to ask which laser they're using and what it looks like!

I was 16 when I tried IPL removal. It did not work out for me though. Right now I have a bald spot in the middle of my armpits and I was on my 26th session and normally it is 8-10 sessions. I stopped right after session 26 because it did not really work out. My armpits are like Wengie's description of her armpits when she was younger.
i dont have money to do everytime they said i needed to do IPL. they said i needed to do 8 times just in one area. i just did 4 times or less on my armipts and legs, then i started waxing it after i did not had money. but now i almost dont have hair on those areas. you should do even if you dont do 8 times or more, just do what you can do and then wax it, you`ll see results (i hope you can understand my english)
I am 15 and I started getting it on the upper are of my upper lip and 2 weeks ago I got my first session on my armpit area. It hurts a lot but it's so worth it! I'm enjoying a more hairless life now~ my mom is buying it for me it costs around 15 dollars for the area above my upper lip and 25 for my armpits. It's not that expensive! And even though: it's so worth!

dont shave!! Ik they say hurts at firts but wax! If you shave the hair will be rough like beard and 3-4 hair will come out from one root! Once u are used to shaving its hard to got back to waxing because shaving really f*cks it up. Waxing will make your armpits(legs etc) like a babyskin :)

+Mikino Kumagai I guess so because it caused less irritation from all the shaving etc. and also I don't go out in the sun a lot so it doesn't tan. Also the little dots from shaving which is the root of your hair can also cause darkness which is removed with laser :)!

+Mikino Kumagai This is going to sound weird, but apparently potatoes help lighten your armpits. No, really. Cut a potato in half and rub it on your armpit and within a few days or a week maybe, it should lighten your armpits!
