The star wars models and models from other movies are all free due to licensing issues. They aren't allowed to sell those since for example Disney owns the copyright. They can however give them for free but sell things like the stands since those are made and designed by themselves
Exactly, it is all in the licensing. The stands they can charge for, the planes, weapons, original models, and other real-world stuff they can charge for. It is not that strange of a business model it allows them to sell their designs pretty cheaply without having to pay for the expensive royalties.
It's not a scam Lol, Just about all the Star Wars stuff or anything from Disney is free because he could get a cease and desist if he makes money off of it.
But he DOES make money off of the star wars model. You have to use a ticket to get them, and the only way to get a ticket is to buy a model. there is NO way to truely get the Star Wars models free!
Am I the only one who is confused that the creator doesn't understand that Disney will absolutely sue the S**T out of Fab365 for selling anything Star Wars related?
@@LazerboltVids It's not a "loophole", it's legally the only way to do what they do. Not sure why this is so confusing my good man, but you'll figure it out eventually

Sounds like some kinda of legal work around to be able to make these available?
You know, the more I think about it... that makes a lot of sense.
They used to be really free, before they started the token deal.
now they dont call it free, but reward, and they got money enough to buy licenses, so Their business model was just a strategy for getting popular?

@@amberdamber7 that’s the whole point, apparently this loophole had been working for years.

@@amberdamber7 You do realize this video is over a year old right? I think we've all "figured it out" long ago, thanks for watching.
This websites has very good quality models. Its not a scam, but autor of this video do not know anything about copyrights and licensing.
@@KamilWiniszewski thank you, your opinion means a lot to me.
