The snow isn't great here, but enough to go and hit some trails in the morning to get some break in miles on my new Riot 600. I'm so excited to experience the Catalyst chassis for the first time. Many waited for the 858, but reliability trumped all out power for me and from everything I've heard and read you can't beat the C-Tec 2 600 for overall life expectancy and reliability in the 2 stroke snowmobile market.
Thanks for the tutorial on the shocks. New to me was the O rings. Can I make a suggestion? Please get yourself a sled lift. My back was aching just watching you guys constantly bend over to complete the assembly. I ordered a Regular ZR and not an RXC and was aware of the shocks did not know about the riser. Thanks for pointing that out. Once out of break in I'm going to install Qualipieces Mission offset carbides for trail riding. I too have the tall windshield and added the mirrors. If you use that 600 for trail riding then add the rear tunnel flares. You will thank me later. Great Job keep up the good work.
@@tjleach_214 cool I will keep an eye out. I am trying to decide which year model I would want to get. I like the all green, but the 2025 model seems to have a stronger and lighter frame and A-arm material change. I worry that long term the 24 might suffer from breakage where A arm mounts to frame. I saw some pics of one that broke. I assume they made this frame change for a reason. I think the seat might be softer too. Not sure what else was improved.
Sharp looking sled.
So lucky to have plenty of snow . Here in northern Alaska barely any snow

would love to see a video of the two colors sitting one in front of the other so could really compare the two color schemes.
@@gerard143 I plan on doing a stock to race sled video, and they will be sitting side by side for that vid. Thanks! 🤘

What was the kick stand thing you put on the steering stem to tip it on its side ?
@@andrewcox7416 it’s called the Side Kick! 👍
Love the new decals on the 25. I have a 24 RXC. Did you notice a lot of belt dust on the 24? I feel like there’s a lot on my 24.
@@MattWebber-k5x there was A LOT of belt and brake dust
@ glad I’m not the only one! I had a ton of dust. The sheaves looked good though. I was surprised with how much there was.
Are the risers on the handlebars that tall? I don't like that.
The windshield I thought came shorter and smoked too.
@@stenny1970 yes comes stock with 4” riser. I recommend the 2”, perfect height for trail riding and racing
