    Good for you, man. Getting my 2 year card back is also my goal at the end of this 15 mo. card. From November of 22 til now, I’ve lost 125lbs. 347 down to 222. Then it started creeping back up. I started the carnivore woe in March. Also, last summer I started walking 10-20l steps. Then in February of this year, I started trying to run. Now I’m 51 and obsessed with running. Since my first run in feb, I’ve run 76 5ks, 8 10ks, and 371 miles, not counting my walking, working by loading my own trailers. I spent more on damn shoes now than I do on food🤣.

    I'm sure there's driver that know what I'm about to say, after so long driving O.T.R you have to prepare yourself for a medical D.O.T..purging your body 2 days prior, taking your own blood pressure..I got the better calibrated machine,payed more money and I also check at C.V.S ..NO CAFFEINE, no nicotine 12-24 hrs before/ no fast food,soda as long before as you can.fasting works miracles but hard to do the first time..best time to go is as soon as they open,be the first one..I get up at 5-6am take shower eat potassium supplements ,Garlic days before every few hrs..IT WORKS !dam near feels like your on a sedative....to much potassium is extremely dangerous so I'm checking blood pressure every few hrs...it's a major process but worth not dealing with Doctors and a 3-6 month card....also never do D.O.T at any terminal or go to their doctors..I stay clear from companies that try and make you do everything in house..Not their business how you get your 2 years or what's going on with your health as long as your taking care of it...

    Good stuff… It’s harder to stay healthy on the road. Keep it up!

    • @Jack-pd4ps
      @Jack-pd4ps 2 месяца назад

      The key to staying healthy on the road is to drive less, slower, walking and eating healthier.
      14/11 clock doesn’t mean you have to use all of it. Save some of your energy for exercise. Take breaks and walk/exercise while at the shipper/reciver. When I was driving regional, I didn’t Work over 12 hours.
      Driving slower means you’ll have less people in front of you and is less stressful.
      Walk at least 6 miles a day. Park in truck stops near neighborhoods. Humans have been walking since its beginnings and is what we were designed to do.
      Eat healthy and don’t snack while driving.
      Trucking can be unhealthy because many Drivers prioritize earning money over maintaining health until it’s too late. The Human Body is not designed to sit in a truck all day. That’s why it “Degrades” so quickly in Truck Driving.
      If you have stress problems like myself, it’s important to find a CDL job that allows you time to take care of yourself. I personally don’t like job that requires 12+ hours of work especially at night. The Body is not designed to work overnight.

    Mine was high. I tried all kinds of things. No salt. Low salt. Exercise. More water. Different concoctions people said would work. I came across this one video that had to do with flushing your liver. One of the things was the use of electrolytes. I stopped drinking sugary drinks. Maybe a soda a week is all now. I started drinking (rhymes with atorlyte) zero. Take a baby aspirin once in a while, and my BP lowered significantly. I'm not saying it's a guarantee, but that's what works for me.

      Yes. 1 to 1 ratio. 1/2 cup to 1/2 cup or 1 oz to 1 oz.
      It’s still a great health benefit. I’ll do this for the rest of my life. The hawthorn is so healthy for the heart and the cayenne is so healthy for the gut and more importantly, the blood and the veins.
      It’s a win win.
