For some reason I didn't fall for it. Every house that was creepy, I had my guns out. I saw them and the money on the table and had a gut feeling not to go for the money, just seemed like a trap. I fired a round off and instantly went into dead eye. They didn't stand a chance.

I didn't want to kill them as I'm on a good honour playthrough so we just started punching the shit out of eachother. I nearly died and it's one of my favourite experiences in the game so far.

In case nobody knows..... premium cigs have cig cards in them. Just found that out myself, passing it on. ✌ I lost 10lbs when dude jumped up from the table...... 😂😂😂
Also quick tip...Go to the general store...go in front of premium cigs and just keep buying packs and discarding over and over...If you have the money...Your dead eye will quickly go up and you can complete sets of cards
There is a money glitch here. If you turn off auto save, go into the house, kill the two guys then take the $50, then save and reload. You can go back in and do it all over again.

I should have burned them as I wanted to first just to make sure, instead I decided to just take the money and jumped when they suddenly woke up and grabbed me. Lesson learned, always burn the "corpses" first to make sure.
You actually get a tip about this place from a stranded escaped prisoner. He begs you to shoot the chains off of him and he gives you a tip about this place. A rich couple or family is supposed to be living in this house and he tells you that you should rob them. Now its either a trap from the get go or these 2 guys killed the family. No honour downgrade if you kill them in their sleep. I headshoted them with arrows.
When I encountered the mansion I whistled from outside and they came out to investigate the whistle, didn’t end well for them. I didn’t know they were in there napping. You should have picked up one of their hats, it’s special.

I’ve played through twice and robbed this place twice and no one else ever showed up. Maybe it’s because I did it at night both times. I don’t think you can get a wanted status in van horn. Unless they go into the next town over and tell
The money on the table are a money glitch, turn off auto save, go in the house, kill the 2 guy, take the money, save the game, reload that save game, go back in the kill the 2 guy again then take the money on the table, save the game......repeat . 02,26,2019 and this glitch still work.

You drive me nuts with the premium cigs. Just open satchel and discard all you have and grab the ones in front of you. That way you never miss out on cards.
At some point I just started discarding the premium sigarettes so that I could pick up the new ones, because there's cards in all of those packages ;) Just discarding one sigarette is enough to pick up a full package and get the card :)
This game is a incredible experience, so enjoyable no matter what you do.....sometimes I enjoy just paying poker. Looking forward to playing blackjack but I have not found it yet.

And one of those guys has a random encounter in St Denis where he is on the floor begging for money while drinking alcohol. He also talks about have a drinking problem because he lost all his money gambling. Tis a viscous cycle smh
Hey, you were struggling to look what the item is. Most of the time when you can pick it up, it will indicate with R1 in the bottom right. So you can choose what you want to grab. Keep it up

The people are drunk. There is a way to save and reload to do this multiple times, but usually early in-game.
