I hope we get a similarly-scaled Venator so that we can reenact the scene of those two ships unleashing broadside cannons at each other, such an iconic moment from Episode 3
I really really like this set. If im not mistaken it's the first Invisible Hand we've gotten in Lego. I'm a big CIS nerd so I really enjoy it, just wish the price wasn't so egregious.
Always love Jang’s reviews. I feel they are very comprehensive and reasonable. I wish he could cover every new Lego set (unreasonable as that is in reality) so I could get this level of detail on every set I find interesting, but I am glad he is making all the videos that he does.
Love your channel and your reviews. You’re one of the top 5 LEGO channels that I base my purchase decisions off of. Can’t wait for mine to arrive later this week!
I was gonna say that they should have added a minifig, General Grevious would be the logical choice, but it's no big deal, either way, it's good enough as is. Price is a bit steep, maybe wait for a sale.
Thanks a lot for this very helpful review. Overpriced? Probably. But the miniature shielded hangar bay, recreation of small details with regular pieces are very nice to see..And I do appreciate having something manageable in size. Hopefully a similarly scaled Venator will appear soon.
Best one of the selection for me. We've already gotten plenty of Millenium Falcons and Tantive 4's, Never had a providence before. SW is a vibrant setting with so much more to offer than bucketheads and gray triangles, so I'm hoping this set does well enough to encourage Lego SW designers to make more separatist sets. I'm getting clone fatigue lol.
I am so far behind on newer Star Wars stuff, i don't even know this ship in-universe. Love the tiled hangar bay with the blue "window" shield effect. Wow, 53 Euros? For that it needs a light brick and a sound brick. Good review by Jang!
Ooh, that’s a nice ship! And I understand your point about it not coming with a figure, but the new R2 comes with one and that’s definitely not to scale, so IDK. I’m not broken hearted about it. Would have loved either Grievous or Palpatine though!
Way overpriced for that thing kind of a joke Lego knows it too. They know it’s overpriced for what you’re getting but they know Star Wars nerds will buy it.
I actually might buy this if it goes on discount. I still think it should have come with Grievous, Dooku, or Palpatine, but it looks like a really nice build.
A very nicely done model and instantly recognizable as the Invisible Hand. I love the clever techniques used for the different details on the ship. I wonder if LEGO did this smaller than the others and had it "only" cost $50 because it's a prequel ship. Oh, I didn't know it split in half! That's great, haha! And no, these ships don't need to include minifigures. That will just make LEGO jack up the price more.
honestly, it is small, but in person it feels a bit bigger than it looks in photos. Its also incredibly heavy for its size. the only hollow space in the ship is the hangar. ITs a lot of money, but personally I think its worth it, especially as the only CIS capital ship in Lego since the really quite bad subjugator class in 2009ish
Thanks Jang. Nice review. Yes I think ALL in the Starship Collection are over-priced. But. They are all 18+ and we all know - Lego knows - us adult collectors (especially those of us who waited for three hours on May 25th 1977) will want these for display and will pay it.
The price is a tad too much for me. It's beautiful, don't get me wrong. I love the light grey and blue colours of the Separatist ships, their missile like shapes. I think this would have been better if it came with a figure. Maybe Grevious or if they want to destroy the aftermarket (please) a Dooku. £40 is the same price I can obtain a NECA figure.
Took way too long and I wish it was a play or ucs scale. Wish they had approved the ideas fan submission for this all those years ago or made something close to it. This scale in general just isn’t for me but for those that do like it it’s arguably the best one so far.
It's annoying how well these are done but then here comes the Lego's price inflation and Cost, to, What You Get, ratio barreling through the door every time. The price range shouldn't be $50-$80, it should be more like, $35-$55 maybe.
Just spitting it out here, sorry if I sound angry, im just upset. its way too overpriced. although price per part is okay, price per inch or price per pound feels really underwhelming. and in my honest opinion i would like to see price per inch and pound (or CM and kg's for our non-american friends) for small-pieces-sets.
*Realizes it splits in two*
*Looks at bank account*
Not to worry. We're still buying half a ship.
Brilliant
I hope we get a similarly-scaled Venator so that we can reenact the scene of those two ships unleashing broadside cannons at each other, such an iconic moment from Episode 3
Good to know that it’s also a playset and we can recreate another happy landing from episode 3.
I really really like this set. If im not mistaken it's the first Invisible Hand we've gotten in Lego. I'm a big CIS nerd so I really enjoy it, just wish the price wasn't so egregious.

I really love this scale of ship, good model, easy to customise, can play with and display easily, I hope Lego does more Lego ships of this scale :)
A General Grievous minufigure (or any figure, really) would definitely soften the blow a little bit
As someone who knows nothing about this ship, I am still impressed by the build.
I have so many memories from rots I would've lost my mind if I saw this as a kid. But shoulde been 35 or possibly 40 dollars
Love your channel and your reviews. You’re one of the top 5 LEGO channels that I base my purchase decisions off of. Can’t wait for mine to arrive later this week!
Im getting mine this friday. Very excited! I actuslly saw the display for this at target before they even had it
I was gonna say that they should have added a minifig, General Grevious would be the logical choice, but it's no big deal, either way, it's good enough as is. Price is a bit steep, maybe wait for a sale.
A UCS set of this would be nice.
Thanks a lot for this very helpful review.

Thank you, Jang!
The window through is great

This is from the opening sequence of Episode 3 (2005)
Man if they make a midi gungan sub I'll flip out
Ooh, that’s a nice ship! And I understand your point about it not coming with a figure, but the new R2 comes with one and that’s definitely not to scale, so IDK. I’m not broken hearted about it. Would have loved either Grievous or Palpatine though!
i dont mind the lack of a minifigure but i do wish it included a grievous, maybe with a cape? its been a second since weve gotten a grievous
I don’t see how I could pay that much for such a small ship, shame
I think with the stand and print they are trying to sell it as a a more premium product, targeting adults more. Doesn't justify the price tho
This isn't in my budget but I'm happy to finally see this ship in lego. I played lots of the Ep 3 video game and loved Invisible Hand as a setting.
I want a munificent and recusant in this scale. Since they are both skeletal in design they could be one set and around the same price as this.
I'm not a fan of the prequels, even less of the federations ships, yet I want that thing. It looks great and that scale is pretty much perfect for me.
Way overpriced for that thing kind of a joke Lego knows it too. They know it’s overpriced for what you’re getting but they know Star Wars nerds will buy it.
$49.99 for 557 pieces is not the worst pricing wise.
I actually might buy this if it goes on discount. I still think it should have come with Grievous, Dooku, or Palpatine, but it looks like a really nice build.
i like this scale and hope get more at same size
A very nicely done model and instantly recognizable as the Invisible Hand. I love the clever techniques used for the different details on the ship.

The thing is, Lego gets a pricetag way before they Design the next wave of lego sets so they had to make this thing smaller.
honestly, it is small, but in person it feels a bit bigger than it looks in photos. Its also incredibly heavy for its size. the only hollow space in the ship is the hangar. Ty Jang
Wow it’s actually smaller than I thought. I was expecting this to be closer to the size of the SSD. Granted it’s cheaper than that one.
It looks decent but it's not a ship im attached to.
Looks invisible set great details review jang 👍
Another happy landing
At first I thought the price was 50 CAD which felt overpriced for what you get. Then I realized that was USD. Bonkers
Easily the best-priced midi scale set these days.
Thanks Jang. Nice review. Yes I think ALL in the Starship Collection are over-priced. But. They are all 18+ and we all know - Lego knows - us adult collectors (especially those of us who waited for three hours on May 25th 1977) will want these for display and will pay it.
Would have bought the Tantive if it didn't come with stickers. Display/stickers.
The price is a tad too much for me.
It's beautiful, don't get me wrong. I love the light grey and blue colours of the Separatist ships, their missile like shapes.

Only knowing it’s Star Wars it looked like a lightsaber at first.
Stickers in a set like this is just pure greed from Lego.
O wow. I honestly didn't expect it to be this small.,
53€ is to much for it, i hope the invisible hand will fix that xD
I think people would have liked a minifigure at the same price, so it would have been a bit more reasonable.
Best one of the bunch but unfortunately LEGO is sticking to their guns with not including a fig with these display sets. Just throw one in. Come on.
I'm unfamiliar with the source material, but I feel it's way to overpriced for what it is
Unhappy with the two double stickers for a exclusive display set for 53 EURO. Come on, LEGO. Well, so I pass.
It's annoying how well these are done but then here comes the Lego's price inflation and Cost, to, What You Get, ratio barreling through the door every time. The price range shouldn't be $50-$80, it should be more like, $35-$55 maybe.
Maybe the figure would justify the price a bit more.
Minifigures would jack up the cost of the set.
Looks nice but it's way over priced for a star wars set.
It’s actually a decent price for a Star Wars set
@@WalterChestNut.It's one of the better priced or this wave. The others are definitely overpriced though.
$49.99 for 557 pieces is good. Especially right next to the tantive iv at $79.99 for 654 pieces in the same series.
Its actually the most well priced of these "adult" star wars sets but still should have more printed tiles (and a mini figure)
I think it's pretty good price for what you get
Just spitting it out here, sorry if I sound angry, im just upset.
its way too overpriced. although price per part is okay, price per inch or price per pound feels really underwhelming. and in my honest opinion i would like to see price per inch and pound (or CM and kg's for our non-american friends) for small-pieces-sets.
Well now they need to do a Venator to go with this.
I'm not buying the UCS one so I need to get my Venator fix somewhere lol.
use yo invisible hayands
That is definitely the ugly duckling of the ship series. I've got the executor, the millennium falcon and the tantive IV, but this is a hard pass.
Honestly seeing the size at the beginning completely turned me off for these kits. Laughably small for the price, comical even.
🪩✨🪩 Looks Nice,But I'm not fan of this Model! 😐🪩✌️
