A lot of laptops and phones on the market right now are offering high refresh rate screen (90/120Hz). I know that some may consider it not important but it would be nice for the Elitebook line ups to have high refresh rate screen. I'm on my phone with 120Hz right now and I don't think I could go back to 60Hz anymore

Great question. I know that the latest-gen DreamColor panels available in the ZBook Studio G9 and ZBook Fury G9 are 120Hz. In my personal opinion though, I don't expect to see this in business notebooks any time. the practical benefit will not outweigh the toll it will take on battery life for most users. Just my thoughts on this for now.

I am getting mixed information.... Does 830 G9 have a smartcard reader or not? HP site has pictures with and without it.. So does the biggest retailer...

I have two laptops. Old one is HP840 i5 G3 and 840 i5 G9. Both have 14inches displays. G3 is more lightweight maybe because of G9 has aluminium chassis? G9 has a bit narrower screen width. ALso G9 produces 2x more noıse in comparıson to G3. Personally I have a bit of discomfort because of these changes. I'll see if I get used to it soon. I also don't know what's the point of taking in and out cool and warm air at the same spot - under itself in G9 series ? In G3 warm air was removed from the left side.

How does one transfer data from a smart phone to the 840 G9?

120000 hours of chasis testing on a single piece? Or 100 pieces spent in various tests 1200 hours each? Or may be 12000 pieces spent just 10 hours on production line. Could you please answer that.

elitebook 850 g8 vs elitebook 650 g9 ? which is better about screen /build quality?

Great question. It really comes down to your needs. Both the 850 G8 and and 650 G9 can be configured with a FHD 400nit panel, which is nice and bright. However, of the two, only the 800 Series can be configured with the 1000nit SureView panel if you require the privacy feature.

HP 830 G9 has big problem with their Motherboards. The Government agency I work for have bought 400 of them, and so far we have problem with 1/4. Not impressed at all 😞

auto frame is useless for me, add back the quad speakers.

Just FYI, 800 series has always been dual speakers. 1000 series was previously quad speakers though.

@@CarlinTalksHP oops, my bad, I have x360 1030 G4. It has quad speakers which I really like, I cannot go back to tiny, low volume dual speakers. Does the new 1040 g8 has quad speakers? Could you please review it? thanks

Power and hdmi cables on the right side.
Unless you are left handed...do not bother buying this thing.
