That all-in-one looks so nice! Love HP’s hardware. I’ve owned two of their Spectre laptops and loved them both! Very reasonably priced too, for an expensive, premium laptop!

Probably to reduce some costs but actually it does work to the user's advantage. You won't depend on the longevity of the integrated batt and they won't have to keep stocking such devices because they might change their design. They haven't found a strong design language yet like Apple but they are surely in the right direction.
@@vitalis They wouldn't need to integrate a battery into the Keyboard & Mouse, just use some "off the shelf" rechargeable ones and have a recharger and recharge indicator in them. Place them on base when not in use, Or wait till the Low power light comes on. And if they wanted too, they could Make the base a little thicker near the stem and have a recharger built in to store/charge a second set of batteries.

Thanks for a fun review and helping me decide on this perfect happy medium AIO pc. Some points that are important to note...is that I am 65 years of age and wear reading glasses usually on a lap top but a larger hi res screen makes PC life far more pleasant. I am a gamer as well and the options for this machine offers me upgrade options I can pre order in my purchase. I am a musician so the decent audio rounds out my needed experience. I can always add on aux sound system & camera / mic options and storage solutions for my enterprise nd activities. There is a lot under the hood and lots of potential pay load in this rig !I do not want to need to repurchase new PC's in the next 8 years at least. I am sure the HP Envy 32" AIO will be ideal for now and moving forward. Thank You... great job ! E.P.

As an Apple fan myself, I have to admit when I heard that the stand had an integrated wireless charger it just blew my mind. I see that as true innovation and I can't believe Apple doesn't have this on their iMacs yet. They should take note and see what other companies do.

I have to be honest I would pick this over the iMac just for the display and the design. You can buy a top of the line core i9 model for less than 3k dollars if it were apple it would at least be 5k and that’s being generous I still love my iPhone do

Hahaha thank-you HP for showing us the design possibilities for a “thin and light [desktop] computer” if the power supply isn’t included.
HP power supplies last to an eternity. But yes, if it breaks somehow, it is easy to replace.
TheGoat Yeah, I remember replacing motherboards on at least 23 lil Dell desktops at one Whole Foods Market because the onboard power supply roasted the capacitors lol
I always liked Apple for not having any kind of external power supply.

Great unboxing, I would recommend using "Dark Mode" for your Notes so the white from the screen doesn't reflect back on your glasses.

looks great. the only thing that upsets me is that HP still behind with addressing pollution. is it that hard to make both keyboards and mouses rechargeable? both devices will require 3 lithium batteries replacement in about couple of months. i think we should try harder to minimizing our wastages.
Technically, producing a lithium ion battery is equally bad. It's even worse if you consider how unethical the mining practices are. Wasn't there a lawsuit or something against Apple, Microsoft, Tesla etc. for supporting inhuman mining practices?? I think I've read about it somewhere.

ive been looking for a new somewhat future proof PC this has to be it. The power and storage is insane the display is better then most tvs coming out, the wireless charger ON THE STAND IS LITERAL GENIUS!! I never liked them but I always have my phone with me by my desk and to be able to just toss it in front of me and it charges is a power move. The keyboard with the shelf for phones and tablets is also pretty cool, maybe not the biggest selling point but good for notes or beats I suppose. And its customizable so the processor, gpu, storage, and RAM can be upgraded.

I purchased this through best buy. LOVE IT although there were a couple issues. The first one went to a black screen and I had to contact HP to get them to reboot/restart. This happened within the first few days of purchasing. I returned through Best Buy and they sent another one. The second one was working fine until a week later, the pop up camera was no longer working. I'm now on my 3rd (gave this 3 chances b/c of how much I love it) and it's been about two weeks. No issues thus far with this, and I can't keep saying how much I love this computer.

That reminds me of a guy who wanted a nice display box to honor his family's vintage silverware. He bragged how it was special to him because it was made in the USA. He ended up buying a box made in China because the price was lowest available. True story! After I left his house, I had to laugh at the irony.
Love this!! My husband just bought me the HP Pavillion 27 inch and it's huge and has the charging pad also. I love how sleek it is! I love my new AIO! I will have to get rid of my old ugly desk and chair lol!
I have used both the Envy 32 and Pavilion 27 simultaneously for a while, and the Pavilion is really not far behind. On paper there are some major differences, such as display quality and audio, but in reality it was obvious only at a direct comparison, side-by-side. This tells me that the Pavilion is a faaaaar better deal. It is also more discrete.
