There’s a few responses I’ve seen. One is to say He is uncreated to which the skeptic will usually respond with why can’t the universe be uncreated to which you can say there is both biblical and secular evidence that the universe had a beginning. The other response I saw goes something like this. “Ok let’s pretend God was created by God #2. Then what?” Usually they’ll say who created God 2, and you respond with God 3. Keep going until they realize their question doesn’t really make sense since the answers don’t make sense either. I might not have that exactly right, but the point is the buck has to stop somewhere and saying God is created means He isn’t God then.
Depends on the situation and how much time I'd have, but a few ways - Short version: "Nothing did. God always existed - He didn't 'begin to exist'. He's the necessary First Cause." Longer version: "Everything that begins to exist has a cause. This means that in order for anything to 'begin to exist', there must be (what Aristotle called) an Unmoved Mover - something that 'didn't begin to exist' - otherwise we'd run into a logical problem called Infinite Regression. Since Infinite Regression is logically fallacious, it cannot exist in reality, so everything that begins to exist ultimately owes its cause to an uncaused first cause: in other words, God." (the fancy terminology would state it like this: "Everything causal ultimately owes its existence to at least one non-causal thing.") ===== Oftentimes there's the counterargument "Well, if something had to always-have-existed to explain everything that begins to exist: why can't we just say the universe is the thing that always existed?" To answer that: science, pretty much! -Heat death: if time were infinite into the past, the proposed 'heat death' of the universe would have already arrived. -Red shift: Galaxies are still moving away from each other, and this is observable (through 'red shift', red colors being 'shifted' from others due to the object moving further away at very high speeds). If time were infinite into the past, they'd already be out of 'sight', even if ours somehow were still together. -Basic philosophy regarding infinite regression: time isn't 'infinite into the past'. If it were, there'd always be another moment of time (hour, day, eon, who cares) before the one in which you read this sentence: but since you read this sentence, you're not at the 'end of an infinite' and thus time isn't infinite into the past. The closest to such a looping model requires at least one initial starting condition to be set to negative infinity - and an infinite quantity is logically impossible to instantiate in reality, much less a negative-infinite.
My spouse was exactly like this man, arogant, full of pride, mocking any believer who approached him. He scoffed at christians and called them crazy or a pharisee. Said Christians think they're better than him. It took a tragic event to bring him to his knees, repent, and believe in Jesus, our gracious and meriful loving Father. Today, he leads a critical thinking class along with our pastor. Most of the people are devout athiests or belong to cults. Before I was saved I despised the hymn Amazing Grace. I only associated it with funerals.😢 But the Lord, in His mercy, removed the stone from my heart and revealed Himself to me- after that, the hymn took on a whole new meaning. It is now my favorite. ❤️

I have encountered many like this, who don't want to entertain the idea that they may be wrong! When we consider the idea of Creation, we simply must be rational to believe that Creation demands a Creator. And apart from God, there simply is no real culmination to the existence of mankind.

As a christian, I would really like to see you and the other men of Living Waters talk about God, who knew sin would enter the world. Who knew thousands of people would go to hell. And before the creation already planned the send Jesus Christ into the world to save us. I am a serious christian but struggle with the idea of God, knowing all beforehand and yet create the world and us. Thr longrr I think about is, the harder I seem to find it. Somehow the people you meet in the streets, never come up with these kinds of questions. Hopefully you could do a "show" about this subject one day.

My heart breaks for men like this. My father was a staunch atheist, till the day he died. He had one of the worst cancers known, colin cancer. After surgery, and months of chemo therapy, the cancer was gone! Before his final exam, before being deemed cured of cancer, I told him it was a miracle of God. He smirked, and said God had nothing to do whit it! He said it was the skill of the doctors and surgeons, and that God did nothing. In his 5th year, final exam, before being deemed cured of cancer, they found a tiny spot on a routine chest X-Ray. 6 months later, he was dead...

The question "who created God" is not a gotcha question, it is a way of determining that there is a possibility of something existing without a beginning or without being created (since this apparently applies to God). After establishing this possibility exists, the next question would be: how do you know for sure this same characteristic of eternality could not also apply to the universe? I have never received a compelling respons to this question....
"Why can't this apply to the Universe?" Uh because science. Literally the current model of the Universe is the Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang Theory was come up with by a Catholic Priest named George Lemaitres in an essay called the Primeval Atom: An Essay on Cosmogony, that was later renamed the Big Bang Theory by an English Astronomer named Fred Hoyle. The essay outlines mathematical argumentation as to why the Universe can't be infinite, can't be eternal, and can't have always existed. This is why the overwhelming consensus of most physicists is that the Universe began to exist around 14 billion years ago at the beginning of its perpetual expansion. To reject this is to reject the scientific consensus. Now you can personally choose to ignore the scientific consensus and believe the Universe always existed anyways, just don't pretend to care about Science.

Scientists generally acknowledge they don't know what caused the big bang or if it even has a cause. The big bang is simply the furthest point in time to which we think we can look back! Just as an example, this is what The American Museum of Natural History says about it: "The Big Bang was the moment 13.8 billion years ago when the universe began as a tiny, dense, fireball that exploded. Most astronomers use the Big Bang theory to explain how the universe began. But what caused this explosion in the first place is still a mystery". Back to the question: if you believe God has no creator or beginning, how do YOU know for sure the universe has a beginning?
Since the thief on the cross did not say the sinner's prayer and yet he went to Paradise, does that mean we do not have to say the sinners prayer? Since the thief on the cross did not believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and yet he went to Paradise, does that mean we do not have to believe in the DBR of Christ either? Ray says you do not have to be baptized because the thief on the cross supposedly wasn't baptized, so it stands to reason that since the thief on the cross did not believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and that he did not say the sinner's prayer, we don't have to either.

As I mentioned above, Jesus said in Luke 24:47 that " Repentance and remission of sins to be preached in his name would BEGIN IN JERUSALEM". This happens in Acts 2 where Peter preaches the first gospel sermon and when they asked Peter " what must we do"? Peter said, " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.." and as you keep reading it says that those who received the word and were baptized, the Lord added them to the saved. This is something you will never hear Ray teach, he believes that Acts 2:38 is wrong and he believes what Jesus said in Mark 16:16 " He that believes and is baptized shall be saved..." is wrong and he believes what Jesus said in John 3:5 " Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven", Ray believes Jesus was wrong about that also. Ray makes the false claim that since the thief wasn't baptized, then we don't have to either, yet as I pointed out , baptism in the name of Jesus was commanded way after the thief had died. Second, how do we know he wasn't baptized by John the Baptist? Third, Ray should know the thief died under the Old Law, we are under the New Testament. I believe again that Ray does preach some truth, like most, there is some truth....but on how to be saved.....Ray is wrong. When will Ray give us an example of someone saying the sinner's prayer? to be saved? It is not there.......
They think its expanding because of the redshift caused by the Doppler effect. However there are alternative explanations for redshift that do not require expansion. If redshift is not solely distance related that basically puts the nail in the coffin for BB theory. When Webb telescope looked further back into space they were expecting larger galaxy formations due to the fact that the early universe had more matter to accumulate. However the alleged older more distant galaxies had the same size and smaller than they were expecting.

I believe Jezus on the cross gave her to us as a mother John 19:26, also we are born again in a Jezus Christ and we live in him and he in us and knowing saint Mary is the mother of Jezus it makes her our mother doesn't it? Mary is the “mother of God” in the sense that, since Jesus is God and Mary is the mother of Jesus, she is the mother of God. The Word became flesh (John 1:14), and Mary mothered Him. We should distinguish the term Theotokos from mother of God, because there is a subtle yet important difference. The term mother of God could be taken wrongly as implying that Mary was the source or originator of God, similar to how Juno was the mother of Vulcan in Roman mythology. Of course, Christianity teaches that God is eternal and that Jesus Christ has a pre-existent, divine nature. The term Theotokos, on the other hand, is more specific and less open to being misconstrued. Theotokos simply implies that Mary carried God in her womb and gave birth to Him. Mary was the human agent through whom the eternal Son of God took on a human body and a human nature and entered the world. The term Theotokos was a succinct expression of the biblical teaching of the Incarnation, and that is how the Council of Ephesus used the word. How would you respond to the question, "Who created God?"

There’s a few responses I’ve seen. One is to say He is uncreated to which the skeptic will usually respond with why can’t the universe be uncreated to which you can say there is both biblical and secular evidence that the universe had a beginning.
The other response I saw goes something like this. “Ok let’s pretend God was created by God #2. Then what?” Usually they’ll say who created God 2, and you respond with God 3. Keep going until they realize their question doesn’t really make sense since the answers don’t make sense either. I might not have that exactly right, but the point is the buck has to stop somewhere and saying God is created means He isn’t God then.
❤ Response: Means you are asking about a created god. But, GOD of the Bible is the CREATOR. Not creation...
Depends on the situation and how much time I'd have, but a few ways -
Short version: "Nothing did. God always existed - He didn't 'begin to exist'. He's the necessary First Cause."
Longer version: "Everything that begins to exist has a cause. This means that in order for anything to 'begin to exist', there must be (what Aristotle called) an Unmoved Mover - something that 'didn't begin to exist' - otherwise we'd run into a logical problem called Infinite Regression. Since Infinite Regression is logically fallacious, it cannot exist in reality, so everything that begins to exist ultimately owes its cause to an uncaused first cause: in other words, God." (the fancy terminology would state it like this: "Everything causal ultimately owes its existence to at least one non-causal thing.")

Oftentimes there's the counterargument "Well, if something had to always-have-existed to explain everything that begins to exist: why can't we just say the universe is the thing that always existed?"
To answer that: science, pretty much!
-Heat death: if time were infinite into the past, the proposed 'heat death' of the universe would have already arrived.
-Red shift: Galaxies are still moving away from each other, and this is observable (through 'red shift', red colors being 'shifted' from others due to the object moving further away at very high speeds). If time were infinite into the past, they'd already be out of 'sight', even if ours somehow were still together.
-Basic philosophy regarding infinite regression: time isn't 'infinite into the past'. If it were, there'd always be another moment of time (hour, day, eon, who cares) before the one in which you read this sentence: but since you read this sentence, you're not at the 'end of an infinite' and thus time isn't infinite into the past. I usually respond with something like, “in order to have a first creation, its creator cannot be created himself and has to be eternal”.
My spouse was exactly like this man, arogant, full of pride, mocking any believer who approached him. He scoffed at christians and called them crazy or a pharisee. Said Christians think they're better than him.

The question "who created God" is not a gotcha question, it is a way of determining that there is a possibility of something existing without a beginning or without being created (since this apparently applies to God). After establishing this possibility exists, the next question would be: how do you know for sure this same characteristic of eternality could not also apply to the universe? Uh because science. Literally the current model of the Universe is the Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang Theory was come up with by a Catholic Priest named George Lemaitres in an essay called the Primeval Atom: An Essay on Cosmogony, that was later renamed the Big Bang Theory by an English Astronomer named Fred Hoyle. The essay outlines mathematical argumentation as to why the Universe can't be infinite, can't be eternal, and can't have always existed. This is why the overwhelming consensus of most physicists is that the Universe began to exist around 14 billion years ago at the beginning of its perpetual expansion. To reject this is to reject the scientific consensus.
Now you can personally choose to ignore the scientific consensus and believe the Universe always existed anyways, just don't pretend to care about Science.

As I mentioned above, Jesus said in Luke 24:47 that " Repentance and remission of sins to be preached in his name would BEGIN IN JERUSALEM". This happens in Acts 2 where Peter preaches the first gospel sermon and when they asked Peter " what must we do"? Peter said, " Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.." and as you keep reading it says that those who received the word and were baptized, the Lord added them to the saved.
This is something you will never hear Ray teach, he believes that Acts 2:38 is wrong and he believes what Jesus said in Mark 16:16 " He that believes and is baptized shall be saved..." is wrong and he believes what Jesus said in John 3:5 " Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven", Ray believes Jesus was wrong about that also.
Ray makes the false claim that since the thief wasn't baptized, then we don't have to either, yet as I pointed out , baptism in the name of Jesus was commanded way after the thief had died. Second, how do we know he wasn't baptized by John the Baptist? Third, Ray should know the thief died under the Old Law, we are under the New Testament.
I believe again that Ray does preach some truth, like most, there is some truth....but on how to be saved.....Ray is wrong. When will Ray give us an example of someone saying the sinner's prayer? to be saved? It is not there.......

They think its expanding because of the redshift caused by the Doppler effect. However there are alternative explanations for redshift that do not require expansion. If redshift is not solely distance related that basically puts the nail in the coffin for BB theory. When Webb telescope looked further back into space they were expecting larger galaxy formations due to the fact that the early universe had more matter to accumulate. However the alleged older more distant galaxies had the same size and smaller than they were expecting.

I definitely understand that man! Me personally I’ve watched so many evangelism videos on RUclips, and in comparison I see this encounter as a big success! Despite his attitude toward it all, he listened and talked and was even respectful to a degree. Yes we should do whatever Jesus tells us to do. But Jesus never told us to pray to Mary or any of the dead saints.

We should distinguish the term Theotokos from mother of God, because there is a subtle yet important difference. Of course, Christianity teaches that God is eternal and that Jesus Christ has a pre-existent, divine nature. The idea that Mary is the mother of God in the sense that she was the source of God or somehow predated God or is herself part of the Godhead is patently unbiblical.
The term Theotokos, on the other hand, is more specific and less open to being misconstrued. Theotokos simply implies that Mary carried God in her womb and gave birth to Him. Mary was the human agent through whom the eternal Son of God took on a human body and a human nature and entered the world. The term Theotokos was a succinct expression of the biblical teaching of the Incarnation, and that is how the Council of Ephesus used the word. Mary is the “God-bearer” in that within her body the divine person of God the Son took on human nature in addition to His pre-existing divine nature. Since Jesus is fully God and fully man, it is correct to say that Mary “bore” God.

Christ not only gives us forgiveness and eternal salvation but he offers heaven and all the blessings that come with it but the person is the one who decides what they want to do with their life. He forces no one to choose him.

First, there is no biblical evidence that there are mansions in heaven, the original manuscripts say "dwellings", which is obviously metaphorical, meaning there is room for everyone to be saved if they choose. Second, heaven is a place for God and his Host, not resurrected humans, just like the lake of fire is a place for Satan and his host, not humans. We will, if we are lucky, go to New Jerusalem, the place which Christ said he was going to prepare. If we are not lucky, we will be utterly destroyed, and suffer the second death, which is oblivion. As you were before you were born.
Also, if I grant you your heavenist view, what blessings exactly would we be granted.
