Yes, the story got elaborated as time went on. That's why John has Jesus claiming to be god and Mark does not. John was written a generation or two later than Mark.
Strange how you believe that there is no God, and yet here you are feeling the need to tell us that. If there is no God how is it He is living rent free in your head? If there is no God, move on, don't click on this channel (or others like it), go live your life. And yet... here you are.
Professor Bart Ehrman has written many books. He is a scholar because he studied in the same classrooms as the most fundamentalist Christians. Before publishing each book, Ehrman asks his Christian academic friends to read it and tell him if he is making any mistakes. That means that each of his published books has withstood the criticism of these academics. Sorry, but your opinion is worthless.
The most fundamentalist Christians studied at the same rooms as Bart Ehrman. The fact that they are still believers means they have withstood Bart's arguments, so they are right in being Christians.

Thank you, Dr. Bart Erhman. You’ve done so much for the church community. He’s absolutely correct that Jesus is not God, was never the messiah, it instead the story was exaggerated.
dude starts off reading Isaiah 9:6-7 thinking it was talking about jesus when it was most likely talking about king hezekiah. isn't it interesting that isaiah called a human king 'mighty god'? in fact ehrman brings up this very verse in a chapter of the book called "diving humans in ancient judaism."
BART has a video on Isaiah, and how there are multiple authors and none of them are referring to Jesus. The messiah, son of God and God are not synonymous in Judaism. The authors of the gospel used these scriptures intentionally to draw Jews at the time in but mistranslated the septuagenarian.
It is irrelevant if one of your teachers disagreed, many theists are intellectually dishonest. What matters is who has the best explanation, well-founded by science. And that will never be in favor of mythology.
Sir, you state a category error by quoting the OT. An argument, furthermore, to be valid, must explain a valid question, one free of bias/belief/agenda; i.e., an empirical anomaly. The empirical anomaly you must explain is Eusebius' report that the first Christians didn't believe Jesus was "God."
What are you taking about? This video is typical “human god” apologetics. “God is not a man” Hosea 11:9 “He is not a son of a man” numbers 23:19 “God has full knowledge” psalms 1:47 “The lord does not change” How about: Malachai 3-6 or Exodus 20:4-5 You should listen to your own video. You’re literally describing Jesus speaking to God as Father. all of the other books that you’re quoting from the “New Testament“ are absolutely inadmissible, for two reasons. The first reason is because none of them were written by the hand of his actual apostles, the earliest one being mark was written in 36 A.D. D, and the rest came later. Half of the canonized text in the New Testament is written by Paul, a Jewish rabbi who never even met. Jesus, and all of his claims came from his own personal visions, or one could say delusion. Being a Jewish rabbi, he knows the Old Testament and therefore the distinct and appearance separation between God, Almighty, and any material of creation, especially a man . That’s the entire point of the Old Testament . The end of false idols and idol worship. Paul is the first person to propose Jesus as God, and the Trinity was created in the mid 100s from Paul’s concepts . In law, this would be charge the person and find the crime, and your case is God is a man and his name is Jesus and let’s read through scriptures, multiple languages, English translations of the Old Testament and build a case that you already started with the conclusion . This does not take away from Jesus being a great prophet, a Messiah, etc. but no man can erase the sins of another, and each, and every soul that has ever lived here will have to answer for their good and bad deeds, thoughts, actions, etc. Your belief in or lack of belief in any man in any form does not have anything to do with your actions and thus the judgments of those actions when we all need our collective maker 🙏🏼
Jesus became "god" the old fashioned way - He started out as a charismatic but normal dude. He hurled himself on the wheel of time and was crushed by it. He was killed and buried for being a rabble rouser. Decades after his death he was transformed from being a normal Jewish dude to divine miracle worker by creative and inventive writing and who still hasn't returned and never will.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. One minor point of correction: Bart Ehrman's last name is not pronounced the same as the word "airman," but, rather, the first syllable sounds like the word "sir," without the s. I like what Simon Peter says about Jesus in Ezra's Pound's poem, Ballad of the Goodly Fere... They'll no' get him a' in a book I think Though they write it cunningly; No mouse of the scrolls was the Goodly Fere But aye loved the open sea.

I'm sorry. Do people still believe in God? Is the Bible not just a book written by men? Like so many others? There's no god. Grow up.
