2:59 Britain did not do this first. The Germans bombed Warsaw and Rotterdam as they invaded Poland and the Netherlands. It was only a matter of time before they bombed Britain. When you mentioned that Churchill authorized the bombing of a German city before the Nazis bombed british civilians, you did not mention that, before this bombing, Hitler directed the Luftwaffe to bomb a dutch city, after the Netherlands announced their surrender, because it was perceived to be too slow for the Nazis. Since this action was a violation of Germany's announcement, along with Britain and France, not to bomb civilians, Churchill changed Britain's war strategy. Why didn't you mention this important fact?

One interesting fact for you Paul: Marmaduke Pickthall, the famous British writer, translator and Muslim convert who was born in 1875 was a "classmate and friend" of Winston Churchill at Harrow School, the prestigious boarding school in England. They both shared a similar "social" status as members of the "upper class", however, they had very different views on politics, religion and culture. Pickthall, being a devout Muslim, was a sympathizer of the Ottoman Empire and also the Indian independence movement (Did Tariq Ali mention this?), while Churchill was a staunch imperialist and colonialist.

Our uncle served in Palestine after WW2. He said they were not terrified of the arabs but of the terrorists on the other side. The murder of British squaddies and then the booby trapping of their bodies to inflict maximum mayhem and murder had something to do with this but also generally having potshots taken at them constantly. They came out of WW2 having fought Nazism and were exhausted. Why on earth are those squaddies and the ones killed at the King David hotel not commemorated each year on Remembrance Sunday? Considering Britain's betrayal of the Jews in British created Palestine, who had just seen millions of their own people exterminated in Europe, I'd be a little afraid of the Jews too. There is just so much Jew hate the Jews are going to put up with from antisemitic ingrates. As for the title of this little video screed, no one really used the expression, "the Palestinians and the Jews" during the Mandate, because "Palestinian" was a "national" category invented by Britain, and not really accepted by the Arabs of that time, but embraced by the Jews of the mandate. And of course before the British creation of Palestine, no people ever called itself the "Palestinians". BTW, with all due respect to your dead uncle, the Arabs had committed plenty of violence against the Jews, not just during the mandate but long before, even there in the land of the Jews, i.e., the Land of Israel, as its true indigenous people called it long before the European empire known as Rome imposed the name of another people of European derivation, the Philistines, on the land of the Jews. And as for the use of "Palestinians" to describe the Arabs of Palestine in this video? That's an alleged people was actually invented in the 1960s by the Soviets and the Egyptian, Yasser Arafat.

And one of those qualifiers is a required prefix in every case. The “Arab Jews” who were already living peacefully in the Middle East were not considered or consulted in this colonial scheme. The entire affair was a 100% European project. And although native Jews were brought in later to bulk up the Jewish population, they were (and to some extent still are) treated poorly, disrespected, and discriminated against. Today the European Jews are still the mainstay of established power in Israel.

Jews were forced to move to Israel from other Middle Eastern countries and became poor second class citizens, forced to leave their homes and business and become refugees. Britain is responsible for much of the misery not only in the Middle East but also in India and Pakistan where you can also see the idea of chopping up land according to arbitrary so called religious preferences and thus have created the modern world of unrest and terror where once was peace we now have generations of misery.

There is a very famous quote from Churchill. I think when he was in the Colonial Office, along the lines (paraphrasing): "The Jews seem to think that we can just get rid of the Arabs to suit them." At this point he was openly critical of the concept of Zionism. Very interestingly, despite being such a well-known quote, it seems to have been completely excised from history. There are people today who are actively trying to deny the facts of history, that before WWI and during the interwar period, the Palestine Mandate territory was an area heavily populated with settled Arab farmers, and that the Jewish population was a tiny minority. A demographic map of the region was drawn up in 1910 for the British government by Maunsell. This shows that the Palestine Mandate territory was the largest area of settled Arab agriculture in the Mashreq. It also shows the minute areas of settled Jewish agriculture. In 1947 at the onset of the creation of the modern state of Israel, only about a third of the population in the Palestine Mandate territory was Jewish, and most of those had only arrived since 1941. An ethno-nationalist Jewish state could only be created in a region where Jews were a minority by the ethnic cleansing of hundreds of thousands of Arabs. This was carried out at gun point by the hard men of Irgun, Hagganah and the Stern Gangs. Men brutalised by their experiences in WW2 on the eastern front. These are simply the facts of history which are forbidden in the USA and highly supressed across the west. I see many American videos on here recently, pretending that the Jews have been the majority population of the territory for all of the last 2000 years. This is either dishonest or extremely ignorant.

I think the NAZIs were guilty not only of genocide of the Jews but also of brutalizing the Jews to the Palestinian Arabs. By "Jews"., I mean Jews, worldwide. The Jews of the 1940s just did not want to know what the Arab population was at that time. The Jews just wanted to establish Israel, and did not care because I believe they felt that what had be done to them in Europe gave them license to do anything. I believe that such, too, is the attitude of Israelis today.

So what? It is completely irrelevant to the whole issue. If someone comes to your home pushes you off your farm at gun point, hands your land over to foreign immigrants who have only just arrived in the country, then bulldozes your village rebuilds a new one with another name. Stages massacres and terror to drive you and your people out of your homes, then claims none of this happened, If you are angry of fight back you are told you have no right to be angry and that you are only fighting back because you are 'racist', is that something you would accept yourself? If it happened to you? Say in the partition? The reason for a Palestinian state has nothing to do with some abstract historical argument about nationality. The "Two States" solution is a way to bring peace, to find a formula to end the blood feud which will otherwise go on generation after generation. The Israelis were INVADERS. They invaded the country and started this war. It is a simple fact that no one group of people want to live under another group of people. The Israelis do NOT wish to live under an Arab government, that is why they conducted mass ethnic cleansing. The Arabs do not want to live under the Israelis, which is the reality of what is happening now. Only the "Two State" solution brings any hope for peace, but you reject it, why? It is the extremists of Hamas and the Israeli hard right-wing who reject the "Two State" solution, and who want to escalate the war to a final solution of exterminating totally the other. You are supporting this. You have no reason for your point of view except your own irrational hate of Muslims. If you are not an Israeli or a Palestinian (person born in the Palestine mandate territory , or a child of a refugee from there), then why do you choose sides. Foreigners who choose sides in other people's conflicts are usually doing it for their own selfish reasons. @@siddude

Following the game plan laid out at the British 1st Imperial Press Conference of 1909, and representing Rothschild interests, J.P Morgan proxies purchased the top 25 most influential publications in the United States in 1915. They then used their editorial control to drive U.S. public opinion into the First World War on the side of the Allied Powers. As a reward, the British cabinet approved the Balfour Declaration promising Baron Rothschild it would endeavor to create a homeland for Jews in Palestine.
Now, jump forward to the 1950’s, when the CIA used Operation Mockingbird to penetrate U.S. media, as well as various USG, state, and even certain metropolitan agencies.
Today, nearly all U.S. legacy media is controlled by just five conglomerates, all of which are ultimately controlled by the Deep State, which came to power behind the scenes via JFK's assassination in 1963. That is why the JFK assassination is regarded as the Third Rail in American Journalism. The Democratic Party has become its political wing, and the MSM is now little more than its propaganda arm.

Thanks to Churchill we won the war against the nazis. Germans could have surrender early, but they didn't, and the bombing seems to have been necessary. Similarly, after Hamas horrific attack on jews, it was predictable that Israeli will attempt to demolish the military headquarters of Hamas, and warn them in advance so that the civilians could flee, but Hamas made this impossible, and is entirely responsible of the death of the Palestinians, which they simply called "martyr", like in their chart they consider women as martyrs factory. We, europeans and Americans, have to stand up for all democracies when attacked by autocracies, even more so when they have inherited nazism. The chart of Hamas is even worse than "Mein Kampf", if that is possible, as they want to destroy all Christians, and to obliterate the women's right. This video contains many truth, but seems to abstract them from the context, and lack much comparisons with the enemy of the time, and today's.

From India, at first only white Jews were accepted, then after a lot of debate the Bene-Israel Jews were accepted. They were of mixed Indian race and came to India long before the so called white jews from Persia.
Indian Jews left in their droves for a better’ life after being fed heavy Israeli propaganda. They were also deeply in love with the idea of having a nation of their own.

Not really, when history is controlled by the ruling class, not much history gets out.
Consequentially, when that true history becomes known, it's not judging by a standard that did not exist before .
It's simply allowing the truth to be known, and speak for itself.
You can't judge what was unreported or unknown.
That's sort of like judging Leopold who slaughter millions by 21st century standards.
It's not, the same moral standard existed when he did it. Those of the latter centuries just didn't know it. When they found out, they simply let it be known.
That's what happened in the USAMERICA when folks started using the net to research some of those confederate statues. They found out the inscriptions beneath the statues were entire false.
BTW, I'm not in favor of removing these monuments, as long as you prints some of the real truths beneath them.

Accordingly, there are numerous cases of antisemitism under Muslim rule, such as the 1066 Grenada massacre and in the 1656 Jewish expulsion from Isfahan (along with many other waves of expulsions and forced conversions). All of this is not to mention that - even though the majority of Jew hatred once came from a Christian populous - the countries that hold the most antisemitic views in the world today are more often than not Muslim majority countries. We could determine this by using a number of different metrics but as we've mentioned expulsions already let's start there. The most recent expulsions of Jewish populations have been from countries such as Yemen, Morocco, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria, Libya, and Lebanon. In total nearly a million Jews were expelled from or fled from Islamic countries in the 1940s and the 1950s. In many cases these communities had established traditions in these countries, going back hundreds or even thousands of years (there is archaeological evidence of Jews living in Baghdad as far back as the early sixth century BCE). This may help explain why the current Jewish population in Israel is majority Mizrachi or Sephardi ('Non-white' Jews who lived in the Middle East and North Africa). Although of course there are also sizable 'white' population in Israel, but many of them are the descendants of holocaust survivors so the theory that they are 'privileged' could also do with a swift rejection of that particular null hypothesis.
As to your take on Churchill, it is too great of an undertaking to contextualize each of the misleading statements you put forth so I will just say a couple things. First, the trouble at understanding why Churchill referred to the 'Jewish race' and not to the 'English race' as the 'best race' may be understood as an homage to the indebtedness he felt the British owed to the moral and technical contributions that Jews and Judaism had made and that we only feel uneasy with his language because he was using terms that did not yet have the negative connotation they hold for us modern viewers today. If we judge people of the past by modern standards we generally find them lacking because we are not in the same context they were in, we rarely have taken the time to learn about that context, and we (hopefully) have developed morally in the meantime, at least in certain respects. Second, I think that a lot of the examples of 'racism' that were brought up could be far better understood through the lens of paternalism rather than race hatred. He certainly believed that there were different levels of technological and civilization development, but I would suggest that scientific and developmental indices agree.

Dear friend: you seem to have a deep understanding of Jew history. Maybe you can answer this for me: Why? Why is it that Jews are so poorly treated or even driven out from everywhere? This is a honest question, I'm not anti-semite or anything of the sort. It's true that we don't have many Jews here in Spain... (we drove them out 4 hundred years ago).

I asked her and a number of her family members the same question, as to why are Jewish people the most picked on people in History. Also why is it that even the most mild question about the behavior of the Israeli settlers in the west bank, brings about accusations of me being anti sematic. As an outsider that cares about the future of the Jewish people, I think Jewish people need to stop calling your self the chosen ones and realize you are not special and just like the rest of us. The resultant depopulation didn't lead to a cultural or religious loss of identification with the ' chosen land ' . This perhaps is a point often missed by commentators regarding the current suffering of so many people , Palestinian, and Israeli today and recently .

Your understanding of this history is super messed up. Israel is only 75 years old. It is one of the newest nations. It was settled by Europeans. The people who had been living on that land were displaced. Prior to and during the European settlers turning up, starting from the about the turn of the 20th century, the land was controlled by Ottoman and then Britain.
There isn't much else to it. Whether the European settlers used to live there or not (thousands of years ago) would be impossible to substantiate. The people who had already been living there may have been, for a very long time, but that's also effectively impossible to prove.
Records don't go back that far, and there is no way to know if they were fabricated.

Memorandum by Winston Churchill) lambasting the colonial office for the maltreatment of the Cypriots and urging parliament to intervene. His motivation appears to be more about Britain's prestige than the plight of the Cypriots but it's well to know that it was so damning that the memo remained secret for 100 years. In all likelihood Spain was distinct in being the only part of Western Europe conquered into dar al Islam. The Ummayad Caliphate would have had a vested interest in presenting a more tolerant policy there that was different from other areas and probably uncharacteristic when it came to their treatment of the dhimmi minorities given the fact that all Spaniards were ahl al kitab rather than kafirs.
