I've been where you are. The bible says once you know Jesus he will never leave you. There were times I gave up on God for various reasons but as it turns out he never gave up on me. I've had several times in my life where he showed up in huge miraculous ways that nothing else would explain. It would take to long to explain but God knew my need and I got that door to open and also doors shut when it was absolutely needed or I would not be here writing this. Take your time and work things out within yourself..try to love yourself as you love others..somehow I feel you have great love for others but find it hard to love yourself...this is satan trying to cause you to harm yourself and seperate from the one thing he knows will heal you... just know God walks with you and loves you no matter what you've done. Sometimes you have to forgive yourself, If you've asked..God has already forgiven you...agree with him and move on with your life before you look back and realize you've borrowed trouble for most of your life. Stop planning how you can be happy tomorrow and find things to be happy about today..and the unconditional love of Christ is something very worthy of being happy about each and everyday. God Bless. 2.5 years ago I quit porn, Gambling, Alcohol, and weed, and have never looked back, because GOD redeemed me of it. Its possible, just never let go of Gods goodness no matter what life throws at you. Ray, I never quite know what to comment as you may think it strange or awkward. This is an outstanding video that sheds light on just what I need to know. I was blown away this morning witnessing. I pray the Lord send me out to do His work..here I am Lord! I drove pretty far out of town and I remembered I needed a specific kind of rice. In the store, I am drawn to this employee stocking the shelves and I begin witnessing and we had a great conversation about Jesus. Well, when we were done, I was standing right in front of the rice I came for! The Lord set me up. He knows ALL.

We should not be discouraged to get to do the work again and again provided we have not been killed, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. @eye1dry138the Bible also says because of Abraham believed in God (had faith in God) God counted him righteous, God made us righteous in Himself, through the atonement and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, so we can actually be righteous (not self righteous) but righteous in Christ by having faith in what He did for us on the cross, taking our sins on Himself and transferring His righteousness to us. @eye1dry138 Scripture says it over and over again in many different ways. Jesus said we are only betrothed to him now and that we must strive to enter the narrow gate. We have eternal life IF we continue to strive to obey Him in all ways. He said that if our eye causes us to sin, it would be better to pluck it out than enter Hell with two eyes. That's how serious we need to be about ridding ourselves of sin. But many will strive until it gets too hard or they have to give up something that they don't want to give up. I suspect that many will fall away when the Mark of the Beast arrives because they will not want to be martyred (beheaded) or starve to death by obeying God's command to refuse the mark which will be required for buying and selling. Several teachers are already telling the sheep that it's okay to take it as long as not overtly worshiping the beast. People love ear tickling teachers who don't give the facts.
Everything Ray says is true. It didn't happen immediately but as I grew closer and closer to my Lord I lost my desire for my old sinful ways. Now, I don’t want to do anything, even the smallest thing that would hurt my Saviour. I live my life as if Jesus is always standing right beside me, which He is. I love and honor my Saviour. I recently came back to God after many years of denying Him. I went to Confession. I admitted my transgressions & how serious they were without comparing myself to anyone else. Since that day, I have never felt so peaceful and I love God with all heart, soul, and mind. He never gave up on me!! And he’ll never give up on you. Let Him in. Often believers have arguments they find convincing, but they're all illogical (and so they _shouldn't_ be convincing). For example with the Cosmological Argument tries to use causality (things needing causes) to say a god is needed to start the "chain of causation" way back at the very beginning of everything. However either (A) everything or (B) not everything has a cause. If A, an uncaused god is impossible. If B, uncaused things would be possible (meaning the argument no longer has a reason to say any given thing needs a cause). So then the argument has no reason for saying a god must exist. Does that make sense?

There is a breakthrough, maybe not in everyone but at least a seed is planted and someone took the time to explain the gospel to them. Nobody outside of my family ever shared the gospel with me. I’m so glad that Jesus Himself and RUclips videos helped point me in the right direction, and I had a friend in my life who goes to church and lived out her faith ❤️😇

We are so used to bickering on the internet that we forget a lot of people are capable of having a debate or discussion and remain respectful. If I personally reach a point in a debate where there is no more common ground and just haven’t realized I could end the conversation there, I would probably do the same as these kids and I would just respectfully listen and hear what he had to say and then say thanks and be on my way. Just because they aren’t being combative doesn’t mean they are being convinced of anything. Making them question their stances or points of arguments might be realistic, but saying they “see who God is” was reaching imho. I think the discussion dissolved into preaching and they were just being respectful and polite by listening. Whether they were swayed in any way is something we will never know.
Sure, that’s why I said a seed was planted. At least they “heard” the gospel. They might not believe it yet. But as a believer in Christ, I believe the Holy Spirit can reveal Himself to those young people, and as they think and dream and go on with their lives, they might feel God’s presence, leading them to wanting more of Him. That’s what He did for me. ❤
When Ray Comfort speaks it reminds me of how I would imagine the Apostle Paul would speak.. So much passion and love, patience, honesty, and dedication!
I’ve been watching Ray and Living Waters videos with hunger and has GREATLY prepared me for sharing God’s love for people. I don’t have Ray’s Bible knowledge, but have read it a few times. I no longer have significant fear, only minor hesitation at times, God forgive me. Time is SHORT. This is why we must hear God’s command and be reminded of Jesus’ words-the harvest is great and the workers are few. I feel the urgency and pray that other believers STEP UP to share in their own unique way. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you and be the salt and light in this darkening world, and feel JOY!!!
Wonderful! I do so in my own unique way. I don't get out much because I'm housebound. But when I am wheeled out to see a doctor, the office hears about Jesus again. They have tracts left behind too. Keep on praying for the laborers as do I!

I dont wish to be offensive like the commenter above, but I saw an Easter-themed meme once that whilst offensive, said Jesus only gave up his weekend, and it did make me think. Surely the ultimate sacrifice would be dying never to come back, and people could still believe in him, but he only died temporararily. I must admit this is something that bothers me. Any Christians shed light on this please? Plus the fact that God could literally choose to do anything, it all seems kind of unnecessary. If He really loves us so much, why not just forgive us anyway like we do with our own children? We shouldn't be more moral or just than God, but it certainly seems we are 🤔
Where I have been for a really long time is knowing I can't make it without hope and without knowing somebody really loves me. My children care a lot about me but they have their own lives. I can't wait to finally not ever experience anxiety, fear, shame, etc. Ever again. Not enough money, no more confusion, etc. I can't wait to be at peace forever in my mind. I have had depression and anxiety struggles most of my life. I have been walking with God a long time and I want to see my mom and grandmother and feel understood forever. No more straining to feel I have worth or am useful. No more loneliness or instability.

I am so greatful to know there is a God who created everyone and everything. And that He came as a man to Earth to die for my sins. Who rose from the dead, went back to Heaven. I am always amazed at how Ray shares the Gospel with young adults who already know everything! I guess that's why they are in college - to learn how much they don't know! These folks also enjoy their pleasures too much. But until they hit a wall and become desolate and lonely, they probably won't know how to feel remorseful for their "sin." They enjoy it too much, as they've just learned to actually think! "A wo/man with no purpose distracts him/herself with pleasure." These kids look at you with a "huh"? Thanks for sharing!
We plant the seeds, the Lord grows. I am 41 years old so I myself have just recently entered "middle age status", I was blessed with a youthful appearance so to many people I look like a 20s something guy, even with facial hair. In my experience older adults say 60s on up will sometimes overstep personal boundaries and I will experience maternal instincts or fatherly instincts from people who aren't my parents and don't know me or know don't know me well outside of work or church. I have found that while older adults may have more life experience, sometimes younger people are more graceful toward others and slower to judge than elderly adults. Furthermore, a saved 22 year old man who can't well debate his anti-abortion disposition well is much wiser than an elderly pro-choice woman in at least one regard, he Knows Jesus.
I love the way we got to know these individuals enough to love their courage and transparency. Ray Comfort has a gift of talking spirit to spirit. This has been such a blessing. Thank you all participators. You have touched hearts.

I absolutely love you Ray! I'm a grad student studying Christian Apologetics, and I just found your page yesterday. Reading and studying these approaches/arguments do not do them justice, but seeing you apply many of these in your evangelical discussions with people has helped me understand and further appreciate these arguments. I also admire how you manage to remain calm, your patients, and your sincerity. Arguably my favorite thing is when you say not to feel pressured by you, rather be sincere with God. This is an under appreciated and oftentimes ignored aspect of evangelism, which hinders the effectiveness of the conversation. The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him..." We, as Christians cannot save others, but we can and should point/lead the unsaved to the One that does the saving.
Repentance is an apology, if you understand the severity of sin because it’s a change of mind about sin. Faith in Jesus Christ to help you turn from sin is true repentance. Romans 10:17 “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”
The turning is to Jesus for salvation. Trusting in His righteousness applied to you and His forgiveness of you. Then you'll be able to turn from sin. Turn to me and be saved all you ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none other. He who comes to me (Jesus) I will in no wise cast out. Thief on the cross. Turn to Jesus - the way, the truth, the life. Thank you Ray for bringing His precious words to the people. Amen

I've been where you are. The bible says once you know Jesus he will never leave you. There were times I gave up on God for various reasons but as it turns out he never gave up on me. I've had several times in my life where he showed up in huge miraculous ways that nothing else would explain. It would take to long to explain but God knew my need and I got that door to open and also doors shut when it was absolutely needed or I would not be here writing this. Take your time and work things out within yourself..try to love yourself as you love others..somehow I feel you have great love for others but find it hard to love yourself...this is satan trying to cause you to harm yourself and seperate from the one thing he knows will heal you... just know God walks with you and loves you no matter what you've done. Sometimes you have to forgive yourself, If you've asked..God has already forgiven you...agree with him and move on with your life before you look back and realize you've borrowed trouble for most of your life. Stop planning how you can be happy tomorrow and find things to be happy about today..and the unconditional love of Christ is something very worthy of being happy about each and everyday. God Bless. Ray, I never quite know what to comment as you may think it strange or awkward. This is an outstanding video that sheds light on just what I need to know. I was blown away this morning witnessing. I pray the Lord send me out to do His work..here I am Lord! I drove pretty far out of town and I remembered I needed a specific kind of rice. In the store, I am drawn to this employee stocking the shelves and I begin witnessing and we had a great conversation about Jesus. Well, when we were done, I was standing right in front of the rice I came for! The Lord set me up. He knows ALL.

@eye1dry138 Scripture says it over and over again in many different ways. Jesus said we are only betrothed to him now and that we must strive to enter the narrow gate. We have eternal life IF we continue to strive to obey Him in all ways. He said that if our eye causes us to sin, it would be better to pluck it out than enter Hell with two eyes. That's how serious we need to be about ridding ourselves of sin. But many will strive until it gets too hard or they have to give up something that they don't want to give up. I suspect that many will fall away when the Mark of the Beast arrives because they will not want to be martyred (beheaded) or starve to death by obeying God's command to refuse the mark which will be required for buying and selling. Several teachers are already telling the sheep that it's okay to take it as long as not overtly worshiping the beast. People love ear tickling teachers who don't give the facts.
Everything Ray says is true. It didn't happen immediately but as I grew closer and closer to my Lord I lost my desire for my old sinful ways. Now, I don’t want to do anything, even the smallest thing that would hurt my Saviour. I live my life as if Jesus is always standing right beside me, which He is. I love and honor my Saviour. I recently came back to God after many years of denying Him. I went to Confession. I admitted my transgressions & how serious they were without comparing myself to anyone else. Since that day, I have never felt so peaceful and I love God with all heart, soul, and mind. He never gave up on me!! And he’ll never give up on you. Let Him in. Nobody has strong, logical evidence of a god. Often believers have arguments they find convincing, but they're all illogical (and so they _shouldn't_ be convincing).
For example with the Cosmological Argument tries to use causality (things needing causes) to say a god is needed to start the "chain of causation" way back at the very beginning of everything. However either (A) everything or (B) not everything has a cause. If A, an uncaused god is impossible. If B, uncaused things would be possible (meaning the argument no longer has a reason to say any given thing needs a cause). So then the argument has no reason for saying a god must exist. Does that make sense?

We are so used to bickering on the internet that we forget a lot of people are capable of having a debate or discussion and remain respectful. If I personally reach a point in a debate where there is no more common ground and just haven’t realized I could end the conversation there, I would probably do the same as these kids and I would just respectfully listen and hear what he had to say and then say thanks and be on my way. Just because they aren’t being combative doesn’t mean they are being convinced of anything. Making them question their stances or points of arguments might be realistic, but saying they “see who God is” was reaching imho. I think the discussion dissolved into preaching and they were just being respectful and polite by listening. Whether they were swayed in any way is something we will never know.
Sure, that’s why I said a seed was planted. At least they “heard” the gospel. They might not believe it yet. But as a believer in Christ, I believe the Holy Spirit can reveal Himself to those young people, and as they think and dream and go on with their lives, they might feel God’s presence, leading them to wanting more of Him. That’s what He did for me. ❤

I’ve been watching Ray and Living Waters videos with hunger and has GREATLY prepared me for sharing God’s love for people. I don’t have Ray’s Bible knowledge, but have read it a few times. I no longer have significant fear, only minor hesitation at times, God forgive me. Time is SHORT. This is why we must hear God’s command and be reminded of Jesus’ words-the harvest is great and the workers are few. I feel the urgency and pray that other believers STEP UP to share in their own unique way. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak through you and be the salt and light in this darkening world, and feel JOY!!!

The people who has a functional brain atleast with little amount of processing power knows and understands that the Bible is translated from Greek and Hebrew (mainly) so it doesn't contains errors and mismatching words, but that doesn't mean the entire Bible is corrupted!!! Just look for other translations, or atleast use your brains 0000001% of power to understand the content, context and concept.. instead of saying ' I won't read, believe or follow the Bible, just because it has errors'.. because even the devil himself admitted that the each and every word including dots and commas has the power to change the world through the message of the cross..!!!!!

I dont wish to be offensive like the commenter above, but I saw an Easter-themed meme once that whilst offensive, said Jesus only gave up his weekend, and it did make me think. Surely the ultimate sacrifice would be dying never to come back, and people could still believe in him, but he only died temporararily. I must admit this is something that bothers me. Any Christians shed light on this please? Plus the fact that God could literally choose to do anything, it all seems kind of unnecessary. If He really loves us so much, why not just forgive us anyway like we do with our own children? We shouldn't be more moral or just than God, but it certainly seems we are 🤔
Where I have been for a really long time is knowing I can't make it without hope and without knowing somebody really loves me. My children care a lot about me but they have their own lives. I can't wait to finally not ever experience anxiety, fear, shame, etc. Ever again. Not enough money, no more confusion, etc. I can't wait to be at peace forever in my mind. I have had depression and anxiety struggles most of my life. I have been walking with God a long time and I want to see my mom and grandmother and feel understood forever. No more straining to feel I have worth or am useful. No more loneliness or instability.

I think their main problem is that bad things had happened in their life and they blame God, I’m just super worried, and prayer works better in numbers, so anything is appreciated

I am always amazed at how Ray shares the Gospel with young adults who already know everything! I guess that's why they are in college - to learn how much they don't know! These folks also enjoy their pleasures too much. But until they hit a wall and become desolate and lonely, they probably won't know how to feel remorseful for their "sin." They enjoy it too much, as they've just learned to actually think! "A wo/man with no purpose distracts him/herself with pleasure." These kids look at you with a "huh"? Thanks for sharing!
We plant the seeds, the Lord grows. I am 41 years old so I myself have just recently entered "middle age status", I was blessed with a youthful appearance so to many people I look like a 20s something guy, even with facial hair.
In my experience older adults say 60s on up will sometimes overstep personal boundaries and I will experience maternal instincts or fatherly instincts from people who aren't my parents and don't know me or know don't know me well outside of work or church.
I have found that while older adults may have more life experience, sometimes younger people are more graceful toward others and slower to judge than elderly adults.
Furthermore, a saved 22 year old man who can't well debate his anti-abortion disposition well is much wiser than an elderly pro-choice woman in at least one regard, he Knows Jesus.

I'll agree with all except the girl, who was anything but genuine. I think she gave contrived, sarcastic facial expressions over 20 times in that short conversation, and basically looked like she couldn't wait to get away, but didn't seem to have the guts (rudeness?) to cut him off. I absolutely love you Ray! I'm a grad student studying Christian Apologetics, and I just found your page yesterday. Reading and studying these approaches/arguments do not do them justice, but seeing you apply many of these in your evangelical discussions with people has helped me understand and further appreciate these arguments. I also admire how you manage to remain calm, your patients, and your sincerity.
Arguably my favorite thing is when you say not to feel pressured by you, rather be sincere with God. This is an under appreciated and oftentimes ignored aspect of evangelism, which hinders the effectiveness of the conversation. The Lord Jesus Christ tells us in John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him..." We, as Christians cannot save others, but we can and should point/lead the unsaved to the One that does the saving.
Repentance isn't actually an apology, it's a turn from sin to Jesus.
Repentance is an apology, if you understand the severity of sin because it’s a change of mind about sin. Faith in Jesus Christ to help you turn from sin is true repentance.

The turning is to Jesus for salvation. Trusting in His righteousness applied to you and His forgiveness of you. Then you'll be able to turn from sin. Turn to me and be saved all you ends of the earth, for I am God and there is none other. He who comes to me (Jesus) I will in no wise cast out. Thief on the cross. Turn to Jesus - the way, the truth, the life.
