The Holy Spirit will indwell you, and you will live the rest of your life to please God by His Spirit. You will know that you are saved and that you have eternal life. Reading God's word - the Bible, praying and applying it will help to assure and confirm you. 1 John 5: 13 is one of them.

Thank you Father God in the name of Jesus Christ for guiding me in the direction of Ray Comfort and Living Waters 2 months ago. I am a 22 year old sinner and I had a wicked heart and was starting to slip into a world of depravity but God grabbed me by the ears and pulled me out of the filth and showed me Ray's evangelizing, which led me to hearing the true seriousness of my sins. Here I am now repentant and born again with a new heart that desires righteousness and I crave scripture and everything Christ-centered like you wouldn't believe. I have absolutely no desire for the secular media I consumed for so long, nor the abhorrent things I used to do to satiate the desires of my flesh. I live and breathe the word of God and after 2 months of non-stop reading the Bible and watching Ray and others witness to unsaved sinners I still NEVER get tired of hearing him tell people the good news and the moral law over and over again, truly brilliant. All thanks and glory go to God in the name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names. Stay strong everyone and shout the Gospel from the mountain tops to everyone who will listen, for the Kingdom Of Heaven is fast approaching!!!

@@koine1979 born again comes through the fullness of Christ himself not through the act of baptism or receiving the Holy Spirit; that comes after being born again; To be born again a person must understand there condition (sinful, guilty before a Holy God) and then confess their standing with God, believe and receive Jesus (accepting and acknowledgment Him being the Son of God) repent (turn from sin and walk in Jesus’s example and commands) then be baptized and receive from the Holy Spirit. The act of just being baptized doesn’t save a person. There has to be a heart change (conversion) that only being born again (receiving the Savior) scripture is very clear with this. Catholics put salvation on 2 things belief in God’s Son and baptism with works to “keep” salvation. This is not gospel of Jesus. There is right and almost right. There is no salvation outside Jesus alone. No additions there are things that accompany accepting of Jesus (born again) but no other requirement to receive salvation but through Jesus.

I grew up going to church. I went to youth group. I even went to the adult Bible study with my mom. I heard the message thousands of times, that Jesus died for my sins, and I never once understood it. No one ever put it in simple terms like Ray does. I thank God that he kept me alive long enough to finally hear what I needed to hear to understand. I should have died a handful of times, and I would have found myself separated from God's love for eternity.

Ray, she may have been baptized Catholic and may even attend mass every Sunday but I can say full heartedly as a practicing Catholic who only worships God the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that it is only by the blood of Jesus we can be saved and sins forgiven. Yes, we are told to live Christ like lives and to imitate Christ as best we can but the only way to Heaven is through the blood of Christ through His passion and love for us that He gave his life. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son Jesus.
It’s a shame because it’s likely you will not see this. But I can’t stress enough that Catholics worship only one triune God and that we know and believe that our actions are worthless when it comes to the holiness of God and entering Heaven and it’s only by Jesus who, as you say “paid the fine” for our sins. Because we believe and know that when sin entered the world the punishment was death. Amen.
I might add also that when we confess our sins in the holy sacrament of reconciliation we are not just telling the priest, we are speaking directly to Jesus through the priest because the priest is, for lack of better words, the vessel in which He uses. Most importantly, we make an act of contrition after the confesses sins, to God. I’m that act we vow to try to never sin again and avoid the near occasion of sin. Additionally we implore Gods grace for help in sinning no more. We are given a penance. They may seem light however it’s your heart that God sees. A truly sorrowful sinner seeking forgiveness will wholeheartedly do their penance.
Do you ever pray to Mary, or use rosary beads? Because if so, those are idolatry, and not biblical at all. Jesus Christ is our only mediator to God: "For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people." ~1 Timothy 2:5-6 A priest, Mary, nor anyone else, can be that mediator. Rosary beads are an idol, it's mysticism, and pays homage to Mary. When Jesus told John to behold His mother when he was dying on the cross, He was telling John to look after her, not to idolize her or put her above Himself, as Jesus alone was God in flesh. There are no rituals that can get us to heaven - only repentance of our sins to Christ alone, and believing on Him, following Him. I do pray you've truly repented and put your faith in Christ alone - He's the only Way to heaven. "Jesus said, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me." ~John 14:6

The Catholic Church has always believed that Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and man. It is the death and resurrection of Jesus alone by which people are saved.
In fact 1 Tim. 2:5-6 says: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.”1😉😉
Now let’s take a look at what St. Paul wrote in the preceding four verses: “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.” (1 Tim. 2:1) St. Paul is telling Timothy and all disciples of Jesus Christ that they are supposed to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanks on behalf of all men. In short, Paul says Christians are to play a mediating role.
Next verse, picks up after “for all men”: “For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” (1 Tim. 2:2) St. Paul is making clear, not only are we to make prayers of intercession, supplication, etc. on behalf of all mankind, but even those in authority over us, such as kings! Why does St. Paul exhort Timothy and all Christisns to play this mediating role?
Verse 3: “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” (1 Tim. 2:3) Who is “God our Saviour”? Jesus Christ, of course. Paul is saying quite explicitly that the mediation he is exhorting us to make “is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour,” in the sight of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
So now we get to verse 4, which tells us why Jesus Christ would desire this from us: “Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”(1 Tim. 2:4) The reason we ought to make these various prayers of mediation is because Jesus Christ desires, “all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
And now we come to verse 5, not cherry-picked out of context but within the context of St. Paul’s first letter to Timothy, chapter 2, verses 1-6: “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” (1 Tim. 2:5-6)
In short, 1 Tim. 2:1-6 instructs all Christians to mediate on behalf of all mankind through different types of prayer, which are offered through the one mediator Jesus Christ. And in order to assuage any doubt about this, St. Paul adds: “Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Tim. 2:7-8)

In short, St. Paul says we are all called to be mediators because Christ is the one mediator and for this reason he was called to be a mediator of God’s love and grace to the world!

The Bible also declares: “But you are not to be called Rabbi, for you have one teacher, (Gr. - didaskolos) and you are all brethren.” This text cannot be any clearer, yet James 3:1 and Ephesians 4:11 tell us we have many teachers (Gr. - didaskoloi) in the Church. The key is to understand that the many teachers and mediators in the body of Christ do not take away from Christ as the one teacher and mediator because they are, in a sense, Christ on this earth and they serve to establish his offices of teacher and mediator in him. As members of the body of Christ graced with a specific task by Christ they can say with St. Paul in Galatians 2:20, “It is not I, but Christ who [teaches] in me…”😂😂

Catholics kneel infront of and worship idols and repeat scripted prayers with pagan beeds that Christ condemns, and those are the "good" catholics lol... I am a born again christian. I was raised a catholic and have no anger towards this upbringing. But God opened my eyes about the need to be born again…not man. I was utterly changed from the inside. My desire to sin was taken away too. There really is a difference made from the inside out. One cannot explain this…the experience was real. I know dear Catholic friends that have this also and remain happily in their church. There really is a difference.
The problem wasn't Catholicism. The problem is that she wasn't taught Catholic theology. Catholicism is about salvation through Jesus. The US is full of people going under the label Christian, having belief in God/Jesus, but having very little understanding/education of who Jesus was, his purpose, or what he desires of us. Often their families haven't themselves really understood theology & they pass on a form of religion with a false security. Too often preachers have thrown around the idea that just believing in God gives you a ticket to heaven.

Okay, Catholic here, and hopefully can answer some of your (and her) questions. The Sacraments of Initiation are how we are *Born Again*. Baptism, through the acceptance of the Holy Spirit; Confession, where Catholics speak for themselves and "plan" their route to salvation through penance and repentance; and Confirmation, where Jesus is accepted as Lord and Savior when becoming an adult. We don't use the term "born again," but this is exactly what it is. The entirety of Scripture is the Word of God, and Jesus is that Word Made Flesh. She was not wrong. Because the term "gospel" means "good news," does not refute the fact that the Gospels are the Word of God and divinely inspired. Unless you refute or don't believe in Divine Inspiration, which I suppose is okay for you, however for Catholics, they were divinely inspired. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus Our Lord." (Romans 6:23). This is what we gained through Christ's death on the cross and is literally for all of humanity for all time. If she was baptized, confesses her sins, and made her Confirmation, she has been born again, just to refute the next comment. She is correct in confession and going to church (Catholicism is High Church, not Low Church). She has repented and been born again, but you've brought her confusion through your lack of knowledge in Catholicism and its teachings. And bear in mind, I'm not saying anything is wrong about someone else's faith, whether Evangelical or otherwise, just giving an explanation of what it is to be Catholic and how it relates to the questions asked in this video. Nothing against the catholic church itself, but just with the belief in faith plus works equals salvation. The problem with that is reliance on faith plus works doesn't equal salvation. It's never what Jesus taught and He showed that by the thief on the cross. He did nothing to be saved except recognizing who Jesus is and placing faith in Him and Jesus said He would be in Heaven. Because genuine faith alone(which includes repentance) is how we're saved, not through genuine faith plus anything else.
Saying we need anything else to be saved is changing what Jesus taught, and is changing the basic foundation of Christianity, and what separates it from all other religions.
Catholicism is not a denomination action of Christianity. It’s actually the opposite.
Catholicism teaches:
Works based salvation
Mary as co-redeemer
Confession rather than repentance and to a man not God
The Pope told Catholics in 1999 that anyone who passss throw a set of gates would be saved due to a special dispensation.
Teaches of chance to be saved after death if people buy enough mass cards etc. through the belief in pergatory.

I grew up Catholic and rejected the religion in 5th grade. Even at that you age God was telling me it was made up nonsense. It wasn’t until 7/21/2018 that I truly came to faith and was born again. Jesus rebukes Nicodemus for being a "master of Israel" but not knowing he needs to be born again. When did Israel practice baptism? How in that context is Jesus referring to baptism as being born again if those in the mosaic covenant should be aware of it?

We are Christian’s, actually the first ones. That’s important bc Christ established only 1 church to establish His word, true grace & salvation. The Catholic Church is the one church that has remained faithful, the same and firm. Created by Jesus Christ himself unlike the Protestant Reformation like Martin Luther, Calvin, etc. Our church teachings follow the Bible more than any other Protestant church “Christian” does like in John 6:47-69, we MUST eat Jesus Flesh in order to have life and we are the only church that does that and has done that since 33 AD. Moreover, The Virgin Mary is not a goddess. Only the perfect intercessor to the perfect Mediator which is Christ. As his mother God has raised her up and made her live her human vocation. She is special for Gods grace given specially to her, as his mother. History has shown time and time again that is true with miracles like the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima and Guadalupe, Lourdes, etc. Also the Catholic Church put together the Bible in the year 300 before ANY Protestant doctrine or church existed.
So yea just being a catholic won’t get you into Heaven. And maybe Gods Mercy is to other people. But it is the only church that teaches you the whole truth to live Heaven here on Earth and get there.
You will accept the mark of the beast because you are not vigilant of him. You already use non biblical prayer beads and kneel infront statues and images that God condemns. You repeat scripted prayers that Christ Condemns in Matt 6, and peddle lies about purgatory thats not in scripture whatsoever. You say the RCC follows scripture better than any other church yet it defies Gods word at every turn. Christ talks about a group of christians who he will say he never knew.
