    Great approach. Just be as fit as possible..
    And of course enjoy running and don’t overthink it. Running is basically a simple sport

      @@RunningWithTK Thanks heaps Tim, I didn’t plan the race as well as I should’ve but fortunately things went alright for the most part! Now it’s time for some rest and recovery… hopefully I’ll catch you at Sydney harbour 10K, C2S or Sydney mara haha

    Just wondering.. How did you handle the tibial stress syndrome? Rest only?

      Mine was a full fracture rather than stress syndrone. So I was in a Camboot initally for i think 4-6 weeks. Can't remember now. Then gradual reloading. Then very gradual return to running. I believe this will totally depend on whether theres a fracture line present and the location of the bone stress though - so can really vary a lot!

      Unfortunately not. I wasn't able to create any vids in this period, moving house and focusing on work during the marathon build it was a bit too much to take on... I ran 3:13 though, was very happy considering the hilly Sydney course! Hope to be back one day and thanks for the support ✌️

    I just found out that I'm running Sydney this year too. I blew up last year, hoping to finish feeling strong this year around a similar time.

      Amazing! 😊 Last year sounded tough in that heat. I was still pretty bummed to miss it though.
      I hope the training is all going well this year! 💪
