One of the best marathon preparation videos I’ve seen on the net, I had a very similar experience with my marathon a few weeks back, that’s one thing that helped me was take a jel. Regularly I took one every half hour instead of when I felt like it, makes a big difference, I used the pacers but as a guide only, if I felt I needed to drop back I’d drop back & then catch up again to the group on the down hills, I think if you can learn to do just the right amount on the taper weeks, my taper routine I do a few 10k easy pace runs, with 5 x 30sec hill sprints, few swims a week & a few easy pace bike rides, just enough to keep the legs awake & fresh for race day, excellent video keep up the good work👍🏼🌿👣✅🥳

With a 17k and 76 half you're definitely sub 248 marathon runner. You should be easily be able to hold 4mins pace in the marathon. Well done in London. Next race train for 2.48 😉
