Just a quick note: If it looks like we’re distracted by our phones during the video, we promise we’re not! We were reading the lyrics to the song so we could react to it more thoughtfully. We realize we could’ve explained that better-thanks for understanding! ❤
You guys should've seen the Christian conservatives in our country hate on this song...Radio station boycotts, TV ads decrying L.Z. as Satan worshippers, etc..didn't stop the Zepplin from rising to the top, just made ;em more popular to the kids.

Dive deep, my friends, into Led Zeppelin. They're the real deal. I'm 59, and I've heard this songs probably hundreds of time, but it's ALWAYS totally badass. Just a wicked, wicked band.
Yes musicians back in the day were awesome putting music together as a band that can ROCK N ROLL and have true meaning in their lyrics..great reaction guys

Some bands are known for their singles. Led Zeppelin is known for their albums. Almost all their songs are considered Masterpieces. That's why any album from this great band is listen from beginning to end.
Welcome to the world of Led Zeppelin, gentlemen!! Just a few suggestions to start you on an amazing journey: Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confused, Kashmir, Over the Hills and Far Away, The Rain Song, When the Levee Breaks.
"Stairway To Heaven" is more than THE anthem of the whole rock history, it's THE revelation at all. I gave them my soul when I was sixteen and now they are not going to give it me back.
Led Zeppelin live in Madison Square Garden in 1973 is a perfect concert. Live performances from LZ were often better than the studio albums and they changed up the performances…musicianship is unbelievable and often done on the fly. Take a look at Dazed and Confused or Whole Lotta Love live and get some Jimmy Page playing guitar with a violin bow…awesome.
Dude this is only the begging of Zep, their catalog is vast and eclectic, they do not have a genre. They just come for all genres. Their blues is probably their best efforts; but they are the conquerors of all genres they make their own!
Heard it a thousand times, and it's nowhere near my favourite Zep track, but when the solo kicks in my scalp prickles. Welcome to the Zep journey. Your musical life has just been changed forever.
Led Zeppelin has a movie called Song Remains the Same. It's a musical documentary of them on tour and shows them playing several songs live including Stairway to Heaven. It is incredible.
“The Lemon Song”, “Immigrant Song”, “Fool in the rain”, “When the levee breaks”, “Going to California”, and you must listen to “Kashmir”. You can’t go wrong with any song by them. ❤❤❤

You need to listen to Heart singing this at the Kennedy Center Honors for Led Zeppelin’s induction ceremony . It’s incredible. Roberto Plant, the lead singer of. Led Zepplin teared up and Jimmy Page (guitarist) was totally digging it. Amazing performing and really fin ton watch.
I absolutely love watching young people get hooked on great music that I was blessed to grow up on! Great reaction...so happy you now love LZ. This is a rabbit hole that's amazing to go down because there are many different sides to Zeppelin...all are incredible!
Yea...kids today are being cheated. Cheated out of their birth right to have great music they can relate on and like us...have as part of the soundtrack of OUR lives!
I do hope you explore a lot more of Led Zeppelin's music. The guys are/were incredibly creative and gifted musicians, and their influence on rock music is immeasurable . As one music critic wrote, "Led Zeppelin’s impact on music was huge and still is today. Their ability to mix genres and their innovative studio work...still shapes the changing world of rock music." Welcome to classic rock from the 60's and 70's and into the 80's. Some suggestions from the "buffet table": Another classic from Led Zeppelin is Whole Lotta Love. The Doors and their songs Roadhouse Blues, L.A. Woman and Riders On The Storm. The Allman Brothers Band and their songs Whipping Post and One Way Out. Chicago and their songs 25 Or 6 To 4, and Make Me Smile. Blood, Sweat & Tears and their songs God Bless The Child and You've Made Me So Very Happy. The group Journey and their song Don't Stop Believin'. The band Boston and their songs Peace Of Mind, Foreplay/Long Time and More Than A Feeling. Endless choices to feed your ears and mind. The thing about a lot of these songs lyrics, is they speak to everyone in different ways. Most people who love this kind of music, it appealed to us in different times of our lives. "There are two paths you can go back, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on".
Yeah, brilliant is spot on. The song, the imagery, the power of the story that flows through you with this song is just stunning. I completely agree with you about how personal it felt. The whole build up to the guitar solo was beyond compare. Oh man. I gotta listen to this again, and then again.
