🎉 Congratulations on your progress so far - you both look amazing! 🎉
I am on injection number five and going into my second month tomorrow. I titrated up to 5 mg due to food noise and increased hunger earlier than I’d like, 2 weeks ago. I lost 13 pounds in my first month so celebrating that! I’m now 30 pounds away from my first goal of 160 pounds with an ultimate goal of 145 pounds.
We too, like vacations that include cruising! I’ll look forward to your coverage on your MSC! We will be going on our 31st cruise most likely in the new year to Japan. I’ll hopefully be at goal then, and navigating maintenance, I hope!

Thank you for your show; I particularly appreciate hearing from mature adults. I’m very very tired of sites that advertise losing 20 pounds in one month on a GLP one. I’m on week seven of Ozempic and I’ve lost 7 pounds. The good news is that my blood sugars are much better because I’m a type two diabetic who, despite the battles with my insurance, is a perfect candidate for Ozempic. I’ve increased my exercise, added resistance bands, and upped my protein. It’s hard to be patient when there are so many extreme success stories.

Nobody's ever said how much they pay for compound verses non-compound, can you share that with us? OH WAIT, you just said it i think $150/month? I only ask because I wasted 8 months on Saxenda only lost 15 lbs in that time and now my insurance is denying me any GLP meds even though I'm obese (female, 53 y.o., 5'7" tall and 216 lbs., and have high cholesterol. I want to know if I go the non insured route what the cost is. I used to pay between $50 and $80 monthly with insurance coverage and due to shortages was taking victoza which was really not working. Now, my doctor will have to put me on phentermine, since my insurance will cover it. So unfair that we pay insurance every month, and cannot go the best route for our health, they're more interested in saving insurance companies profits/claims than saving our health. I don't get it. Now Lilly is upset about compound pharmacies but they don't make their meds accessible to all thru pricing. I cannot pay $500+ for meds. Thank you in advance!! Lorraine your arms are 🔥 💪 goals!! ⭐ - Val in Virginia

Hi. Each telehealth company has different prices. Most have monthly fees between 79 and 99 dollars in addition to the medications. It also depends on which medication you take. Semaglutide is the cheapest. The last time I checked, JoinFridays was the cheapest for Semaglutide. It was like $129 for all doses (meaning from the smallest to the largest dose it was the same price)-remember it’s plus the monthly $99. They are a good company but they can be pretty strict with protocols. Tirzepatide (which is what they take) does go up in price with each dose. That means the highest dose can be anywhere from like $470 to $550 a month (not including the monthly fee)-although I think Chris and Laraine’s Mochi charges a flat rate but that means you are paying more for the lower doses which can be almost $100 to $200 less a month especially if you can stay on the lowest doses for a while with another company. If money is an issue, I would suggest JoinFridays with the Semaglutide and to be very intentional about what you eat. I say that because it’s not as “strong” as Tirzepatide with weight loss and can cause more GI discomfort (remember unhealthy food exacerbates that). But remember, alot of people do really really well on it. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Hey Val! I tried Saxenda a long time ago and it didn't do much for me. I've also tried phentermine - I felt like I was on speed or something like that. For the compound I pay $325 / mo for tirz + $79/ month for membership/doctor fees. And thanks for the nice comment about my arms! OMG I have been working on them but I still feel like I have some loose skin there. My arms have always been big - I used to avoid sleeveless things, but about 5 years ago I said screw it, it's too hot!

@@thedownsizedI know the feeling Lorraine! I've always had large arms too but seeing this video, yours are strong and that's what I'm going for as well. Super job and thank you so much for responding so quickly! You and your husband are an INSPIRATION!! 🙏 Agreed about Phentermine , I used to take half the pill so I wasn't so jittery! I'm going to look into seeing my local doctor again, since time has passed from taking GLPs last time. Maybe they'll allow me to go the Mounjaro route, well see. It's worth a try before I go the compound route! Thanks for your discount code too! My diet is much better now is low carb, high protein and no sugar. On GLP I just ate less junk and Saxenda wasn't great. God Bless you both for the work you do! -Val

@@Lovelyone1Thank you for sharing your insight on this, I really appreciate it and will look into the company you mentioned. I'll try going with my doctor again first, see if they will approve tirzepitide since that seems to be higher percentage results. I do low carb now, high protein and stay away from sugar. I didn't have a protocol last time, just ate less of the bad food but now, I know I'd have better results. Because I'm perimenopausal, I have to make the changes to feel better! God Bless you @Lovelyone1! 🙏

Great update! Things I buy from Amazon: Quest chips, Fair life protein shakes,SLM 40 oz tumbler (better than a Stanley because they don't leak), Fitbit tracker, and I'm thinking about purchasing a walking pad for under my stand up desk (I just don't know if it will end up in next years garage sale!

To make it more inspirational I joined stepbet, it's an app you sign up and sync your tracker like fitbit. It does cost depending how many weeks you sign up, I don't want to lose! So I get my steps in. You don't win much money but it's fun.
