I'm slowly figuring more of it out with some help from friends and we realized some other things. 1:) Roxas without the "X" can be arranged into 'Sora' likewise Xion without the 'X' Is 'No I' Probably as in "There is no I" 2:) Her keyblade is a fake according to Riku and Kairi doesn't get her keyblade till later, supporting that she is connected to Sora Not just his Nobody. 3:) She appears to be regaining memories throughout the game, but I'm not sure what these memories are yet...

When Sora sacraficed himself to save Kairi he turned into a heartless and with every heartless comes a nobody, Roxas. Skipping ahead to where they had crossed the gate at the enf of KH1 we begin the story from KH:Rechain of memories where they come across the castle that never was which is slightly altered to the one in KH2 which resembles Hollow Castle.

Xion was created by one of the escaped memories, and because she was made from one of Sora's memories, that could be why she uses a keyblade. Anyways thats just my theory ^_^ I'm not sure if I'm right though...

In another trailer they have footage of them being playable characters and also they had one scene where all the organization members were sitting on their high chairs listening to Xemnas talk.
oh and I think the 'i can't remember it anymore, something important' in the beginning is what sora's thinking. and the thing he probably can't remember is probably kairi. so, since his memories of kairi are leaking out, that kind of supports the conclusion that xion isn't kairi's nobody but a fragment of sora's memory and she looks like kairi because of the lost memories were of kairi. sorry for the double post @___@
that actually makes a lot of sense cuz all throughout part 1 sora carried kairi's heart as well as his own since kairi lost her heart that created namine but when sora lost his heart he also lost kairi's. He lost 2 hearts at once. 2 hearts 2 nobodies which is why xion looks like kairi.
yes, it's one mission per day. Some time there's more. It helps to talk to every one in the lobby before choosing a mission cause it often unlocks another mission that you can do before completing story based missions. The game only requires you to complete the story missions and you can skip the rest. Several times, days will be skipped though.
I know you are right, first of all, Namine obviously has a heart. Also, Namine said, "She won't be able to endure it..." She was referring to Xion, a memory who seems to be a Nobody. Also, it is suggested that Xion died after Namine finished connecting the memories. That may somehow have to do with Roxas counting the days, and the strange title. It may also be the reason Roxas left, and got caught by DiZ. I hope that all the unsolved mysteries surrounding Roxas from KHII will be explained...
It is VERY good. I recommend it!! It helps explain the other games alot better. Plus the multiplayer is great and you can control the other Organization members!!
Maybe he did somehow create Axel. Xehanort was said to have casted off his heart to darkness willingly and become a Heartless and he said that was what happened to RIku and his heart in KH1 when he was possessing him.

Xion appears to me to be the formation of kairi's memories in soras heart lost. I say this because namine talks about her not standing it, Xion thinking about sora and asking about kari, Riku saying go back to your true form, her ablity to wield a keyblade and gut instint anyone wanting to correct me or comment on my own personal theory please be friendly and i am soo excited for this game to come out!

personally, i think it's the other way around with the nobodies. i think namine is kairi's true nobody, and xion is the combined nobody because she can use the keyblade. her fighting stance is also almost exactly like soras. but i also have to wonder if xion is aqua's nobody because in a cutscene i saw xemnas go down into a basement and say to aqua's armor "It's been a long time my friend" or something to that extent. the armor didn't have a person in it.
This game tells the story how the Organisation uses Roxas to gather hearts for Kingdom hearts, it also tells lot of backstory of the Organisation members and such. it also explain how riku became evil to stop roxas from going nuts. A good game if you envy the Organisation and would like to swing your sword with them, it also alows you to play as the organisation via multiplayer and solo, beeing Xamnes and Axel. and slay heartless in hundreds.
also notice how quick it seems they found Xion after Roxas? Meaning members dont come once in a blue moon. Marluxia might have been made during the first game. It does give him enough time to be a lord of Castle Oblivion.

i did some research, and it turns out the game is not expected to be released stateside until Q3 2009 (third quarter im guessing). thats at least 5-8 months from the time of this posting. Talk about a long wait.
I think I also agree with kittycat001. I think that xion isn't really a nobody but a the lost fragment of sora's memory since namine was talking about how his memories were leaking out. I also think she looks like kairi because the memory was a memory of kairi and if this is true, since she was born from a fragment of sora's memory it kind of makes sense that she can wield a keyblade.
on khinsider a new trailer is coming soon and... i think xion leaves the organization you see while axel and xion search the mansion they fall down but xion rises and leaves axel and xion places a seashell beside roxas on his bed then leaves silently at the end of the trailer she meets up with riku in twilight town maybe thats what diz meant when he said you understtand what this means i think he was talking about finding xion like nomura said she has a tragic but brave fate poor xion,
as for now, there is no KHIII, these are all prequels fleshing out different characters, 358/2 is about Roxas, and Birth By Sleep is an even further backstory about Xehanort.
However, Roxas battles and defeats Xion, who reveals Xemnas's motives and intentions to him before merging with him which, in turn, halts the restoration of Sora's memories completely. Roxas defects from Organization XIII to find himself, much to Axel's chagrin. Soon afterward, he encounters and battles Riku, who had been dispatched by DiZ to capture him so that he may merge with Sora and complete the restoration of his memories
this is a kingdom hearts 2.5 just to keep u satifyed until the third one

Actually, Xion is an imperfect replica of Sora, created so that if he did not prove usueful to the Org. they had a back up. She resembles Kairi because that was Sora's strongest memory at the time of her creation.
In another trailer they have footage of them being playable characters and also they had one scene where all the organization members were sitting on their high chairs listening to Xemnas talk.

oh and I think the 'i can't remember it anymore, something important' in the beginning is what sora's thinking. and the thing he probably can't remember is probably kairi. so, since his memories of kairi are leaking out, that kind of supports the conclusion that xion isn't kairi's nobody but a fragment of sora's memory and she looks like kairi because of the lost memories were of kairi. sorry for the double post @___@
that actually makes a lot of sense cuz all throughout part 1 sora carried kairi's heart as well as his own since kairi lost her heart that created namine but when sora lost his heart he also lost kairi's. He lost 2 hearts at once. 2 hearts 2 nobodies which is why xion looks like kairi.
yes, it's one mission per day. Some time there's more. It helps to talk to every one in the lobby before choosing a mission cause it often unlocks another mission that you can do before completing story based missions. The game only requires you to complete the story missions and you can skip the rest. Several times, days will be skipped though.
This takes place between Kingdom Hearts 1 and Kingdom Hearts 2. It happens at the same time of Chain of Memories.

I know you are right, first of all, Namine obviously has a heart. Also, Namine said, "She won't be able to endure it..." She was referring to Xion, a memory who seems to be a Nobody. Also, it is suggested that Xion died after Namine finished connecting the memories. That may somehow have to do with Roxas counting the days, and the strange title. It may also be the reason Roxas left, and got caught by DiZ. I hope that all the unsolved mysteries surrounding Roxas from KHII will be explained...

Maybe he did somehow create Axel. Xehanort was said to have casted off his heart to darkness willingly and become a Heartless and he said that was what happened to RIku and his heart in KH1 when he was possessing him.

Xion appears to me to be the formation of kairi's memories in soras heart lost. I say this because namine talks about her not standing it, Xion thinking about sora and asking about kari, Riku saying go back to your true form, her ablity to wield a keyblade and gut instint anyone wanting to correct me or comment on my own personal theory please be friendly and i am soo excited for this game to come out!

No, Riku never lost his heart. True, he did fall into darkness with Xehonort (at the time thinking he was Ansem) but he never lost his heart.

Don't forget, Riku captured Roxas and that's the reason why you play as him first. It starts off as 358/2 days I believe because Roxas was living in the virtual reality for a few weeks.
personally, i think it's the other way around with the nobodies. i think namine is kairi's true nobody, and xion is the combined nobody because she can use the keyblade. her fighting stance is also almost exactly like soras. but i also have to wonder if xion is aqua's nobody because in a cutscene i saw xemnas go down into a basement and say to aqua's armor "It's been a long time my friend" or something to that extent. the armor didn't have a person in it.
This game tells the story how the Organisation uses Roxas to gather hearts for Kingdom hearts, it also tells lot of backstory of the Organisation members and such. it also explain how riku became evil to stop roxas from going nuts.
A good game if you envy the Organisation and would like to swing your sword with them, it also alows you to play as the organisation via multiplayer and solo, beeing Xamnes and Axel. and slay heartless in hundreds.
also notice how quick it seems they found Xion after Roxas? Meaning members dont come once in a blue moon. Marluxia might have been made during the first game. It does give him enough time to be a lord of Castle Oblivion.

I think I have it figured out. In Ansem the Wise's journal, he says that Namine was born when Kairi's heart left SORA. What if Zion was the Nobody created when Kairi's heart first left her body, back on Destiny Islands?

i did some research, and it turns out the game is not expected to be released stateside until Q3 2009 (third quarter im guessing). thats at least 5-8 months from the time of this posting. Talk about a long wait.
I think I also agree with kittycat001. I think that xion isn't really a nobody but a the lost fragment of sora's memory since namine was talking about how his memories were leaking out. I also think she looks like kairi because the memory was a memory of kairi and if this is true, since she was born from a fragment of sora's memory it kind of makes sense that she can wield a keyblade.
on khinsider a new trailer is coming soon and... i think xion leaves the organization you see while axel and xion search the mansion they fall down but xion rises and leaves axel and xion places a seashell beside roxas on his bed then leaves silently at the end of the trailer she meets up with riku in twilight town maybe thats what diz meant when he said you understtand what this means i think he was talking about finding xion like nomura said she has a tragic but brave fate poor xion,

as for now, there is no KHIII, these are all prequels fleshing out different characters, 358/2 is about Roxas, and Birth By Sleep is an even further backstory about Xehanort.
However, Roxas battles and defeats Xion, who reveals Xemnas's motives and intentions to him before merging with him which, in turn, halts the restoration of Sora's memories completely.
Roxas defects from Organization XIII to find himself, much to Axel's chagrin. Soon afterward, he encounters and battles Riku, who had been dispatched by DiZ to capture him so that he may merge with Sora and complete the restoration of his memories
