A break and spending time with the family will do you the world of good. A clear and rested mind will help then just try and enjoy your fishing without the self imposed pressure we all put ourselves under
Close but No cigar Mikey unlucky. That's how us mere mortals feel most weeks. great to have the state of mind to know when to take a break from it, as we all know its both absorbing & exhausting. you'll be back with a bang I'm sure
Absolutely gutted for you Mikey and I fully understand you taking a break. Spend some quality time with the family. Clear your head and come back refreshed and with a clear head. Have a great time with the family Mikey 👍
Best decision made Mikey, you can always chill and regroup your fishing, though you can never replace time spent with your loved ones, every one who watches and comments on your videos knows you are an awesome person and fisherman, though you being the bigger man and realising it’s all become a bit to much is a priceless knowledge, thoroughly enjoy your time away from fishing, you will definitely come back stronger and wiser than ever. @@dragonangling your welcome Mikey, been through the same drama, switch off and enjoy the things that are really important to you, as they were in the beginning, don’t know for you, though it was my wife, children and grandchildren, we are are better people to accept we are only human, and can move on to something better 👍👍😀😀
Hardlines, shame it did not go your way , with all the effort you putting in to get to these matches and venues hopefully the rewards will come your way , Well-done mate👍 Great live match video again , enjoyed watching .Thanks
Great vlog again,Mikey. Sometimes you dont get the result your performance and overall commitment deserves. Its gonna come ,boi, believe me👍 Now is the time for you to enjoy quality time with Ffion and the kids. Enjoy the break🏴
Well done for trying to get to these finals Mikey, im sure we've all been behind you wishing you well. Taking a break is no problem , a rest is as good as a cure so it's said. Take care .
You making the right choice Mikey. Burn out is not good for anyone and can affect your performance ongoing. Family is most important especially Kids so enjoy your break. The action will start soon enough. Match wise I dont think you could have done much more. You had the fish grazing infront of you and made the most of it. The angler to your right by joining you on the bomb as you said effectively shut the door on you. The fish which came of when it hit the bar also did you no favours. Very well fished though and thanks for the great commentary especially the "Kick in the Plumbs" bit 🤣🤣. Looking forward to your next video's in a few weeks time. Cheers
Good Shout Time out and family Time always precious, and you'll come back refreshed , wait till you hit 62 then 450 miles feels like 4k lol . Its a hard slog traveling to the big qualifiers Mikey for sure , i cant do it any more to be honest so try an keep it to under 100 miles these days . Glad you have been doing well recently and loving the videos . keep it going . All the best Si
Great vid Mikey-match fishing does get in your head-i got that frustrated with it -gave it up for 3 years-but went back and had to learn hair-rigs etc-just did'nt work out for you on the video Mikey but you couldn't have done any more-do you use in -line bombs -and what hooks were you using on the bomb-you had it right when you were bagging on the bomb!-great video!
A tired Daddy Bear heads back to the den to un-bruise and ice the spuds and de-numb those plumbs. Certain the Mikey-mobile will appreciate the reduction in mileage too. Kit and mind refreshed.
unlucky Mikey i hate it when the luck doesnt go your way the carp on our local pool have gone chicken oriental recently proper angry, a nightmare to get in, onwards and upwards to the next match mate
Oh butt, totally understand your want to have a break from Commercials. I watched your Redhill vid and after fishing it yesterday, I kinda understand your view on the over shotted rig. The chap who won it used 11 pints of casters. I know you are an awesome fly angler, any chance of some fly fishing tutorials in rivers / res in Wales.
