I headed to Larford Lakes for a live match and the semi-final of the Golden Reel competition, where the stakes couldn't have been higher-only one spot in the final was up for grabs. The pressure was intense, knowing that only a match win would secure my place in the next round. Been at white acres this week mate. Jennys is fishing really hard. Only two lines worth anything is long shallow (slapping but feeding very little) and down the edge late on. Not a sniff on the deck and very little over to the islands on method. Good look next week.

Well fished Mikey. I dont think the lost fished did you any favours.I would guess that was 30-40lbs lost. I agree with your thoughts about feeding more heavily to try and keep or pull some more fish in. Some times your best isnt good enough if the fish are not responding or present. Anyway another class performance especially using the long Pole. Cheers and better luck next time.
