Hi Mikey great video as always. If I'm honest I totally lack confidence in sweetcorn. But after watching your really well explained video. I will definitely be giving it another try. Keep up the great content. All the best Mikey. Plus look forward to the next video 👍
@@heyitsme6083 thanks my mate 🙌🙌
Hello Mike, great explanation from you, that a deadly technique from the edge & top kit lines, going to be a shortage of corn m8 if you carry on like that.
Regards Dave
@@davidmitchard1330 haha, thanks Dave 👌
Great video, well explained what you were doing, hope the mrs didn't give you corn with your dinner when you got home😊would have been sick of the sight of it.
@@mickyw4619 haha, thanks Micky👌
Hi Mikey, great video as usual, how come you didn’t use any groundbait ?, is it something that doesn’t work there or is it a method that works for you..
Cheers Wayne.
@@waynewilliams7157 hi Wayne, I think the problem there is there are so many fish in there your peg will be mental if you feed gbait. That corn just makes them easy to catch
learnt a lot- subscribed
Much appreciated Denis 🙌
Thanks Mikey, great channel. Eleven tins is a crazy amount I'm definitely taking more corn with me for tomorrow's fishing session.
I have a question, my landing net is an older one, it's way too deep and the carp's spines sometimes get caught up in the mesh.
I live in the US so I can't hop down to my local tackle shop and check out any landing nets coz they don't have 'em.
Which one did you use here, obviously a Guru but what size would you recommend?
@@Nick-v2d hi Nick, thanks mate much appreciated, that’s a guru 500 mesh, I’m not sure what access you have to match style kit but if your having trouble with the fins getting stuck in the net try a rubber mesh that should totally illuminate those spines getting stuck in the mesh 👍🏻
@@dragonangling Thanks Mikey, I looked on the Guru website is the speed 500 the one you mean?
@@Nick-v2d yep thats a nice bet for your all round carping mate yea, what part of us you in?
@@dragonangling I live in Massachusetts, on the coast...lots of carp around these parts, in many different types of venues. And strangely there are three places to catch Rudd (not native) near my house (how they got here I have no idea) and stranger still, 2 hrs drive from my house there is a lake heaving with Tench (again not native) , and I mean heaving! Nobody knows how the Tench ended up there either. Thanks for the help, I'm ordering the net right now.👍.👍
Awesome !
@@ges123ter thanks mate 👌
Great video, congratulations on qualifying, what corn are you using if you don’t mind me asking? 😅
@@stephenrogers8056 hi Steven, just the stuff from Lidl, 65p a tin, I did get a few from co op too just incase but that Lidl stuff is sound
My local, quality lake.
@@mattdavies8082 hi Matt, yea great venue
@@dragonangling I'm useless still trying to get my head around it as not long moved local to the fishery , new to snake lake fishing as well. Seems as if this year a lot of venues you can catch literally in front of your keepnets. You found this on all the venues you go to?
@@mattdavies8082 definitely Matt yea, one thing with puddle is it’s solid with fish, so if I could give you any advice there is only do 1 or 2 things but do them well and you’ll get the reward
@@dragonangling I confused myself last time whether to fish on the deck short and long or to try shallow so kept chopping and changing between the two, was a busy fool for a few outings.
15 tins ov corn wow top angler tho
