- This video show you how to replacye your BME E90 3 series seat cushion. I have swapped my driver seat cushion with a cushion from a passanger seat found at a junk yard. These drivers seat cushions tend to wear out and require replacement. I explain how to do this on a budget!

oh gosh.. the seat has a opposite airbag.... just bottom one can be replaced..
Clip the seat cushion back is harder than removing it. Thanks for your video, other wise I wouldn’t have the courage to do it today.

Passenger seat has an occupancy sensor that is the second wire. It would not be required on the driver seat. Only the heat pad should be re connected.
On an e36, does the seat occupancy sensor mat go on top of or under the the heated seat heating element?

Is it possible to swap the back cushion?
Yes the backrest can be swapped although it slightly more difficult. Make sure you purchase the same seat from a similar model as the cushions can vary depending on 1. type of seat (sport or non sport) 2. coupe vs sedan/wagon (coupe seats have cut outs on the sides for addition features)
If I have two sets of the exact same seats both heated but one power and one manual Can I change the bottom and back cushion and still maintain all of the options? Also how much harder is the back cushion have you seen any videos for that swap? Thank you
