    • @Flash33c
      @Flash33c 4 месяца назад +69

@@Vaquix000 I disagree that rewatches always weakens the overall experience as a show can still be entertaining, enjoyable and comforting despite that. It's the same reason we replay games & songs, reread books or revisit places like amusement parks. Not only that but you can sometimes catch certain clues and hints to future developments on rewatches that you might have missed or misremembered the first time. Shows like Gravity Falls for example encourage rewatches not only for the ciphers (some of which are only on screen for a second & are easily missed if you're not looking for them) and certain background elements but also some scenes get recontexualized thanks to information revealed later on. There's also the chance that your first watch was hindered or clouded by bias, and a rewatch could present the opportunity to approach it with a fresh perspective and as unbiased as possible.
Maybe in some specific cases it can make the experience worse but as a whole I disagree that rewatches inherently make the experience worse. You can still have those memories of the first watch but now with the opportunity to make new ones as well.

That really wasn't the problem. The problem was that he never said that was what was happening.
No, he was actively saying the exact opposite - that they had already donated it and were directly working with those groups.
And then by his own admission, even if he wasn't aware originally, he knew for almost two years that it wasn't true, yet continued to say these same things anyway which makes every instance after an intentional lie.
Even if he simply didn't understand the lump sum payment thing, once it was explained to him that they hadn't actually donated and why, it was his job to do that for the audience, not just lie to them.
If he had just corrected himself immediately, then it's pretty likely none of this would have went down.
Once it's found out, it's too late. Especially when you see that he's been lying to you by his own admission for almost two years, there's no reason to believe him after the fact.
The rest of what he's done and said regarding it are suspicious, but no one would have been looking into him to find those if not for his donation lies.

I’m still working on that. I think he hasn’t realized that he’s only done a portion of the work it takes. Tho I would commend him for even taking that step, as it’s even harder for men in our society to step up and admit they need a therapist. November 2023, was the time I lost my own mother to dementia/alzhemers...
I had just seen The completionist and Caddicarus in London during the legacy show... his response video made my blood boil and my eyes tear up and I had to pause several times. Noone deserves to go through dementia/alzhemers, but to think he held back the money that could have possibly helped someone, if not my own mum... i dont think I need to say more than that.

Honestly, if personal family drama has taught me anything, it's this:
You're not going to make everyone happy, so fuck them, focus on what makes YOU happy. If making your family happy comes at the sacrifice of doing what's morally/legally right, then it's not worth it.
Apparently, Jirard never learned this, and imo that's the heart of his downfall.

Ironically, since Jirard’s entire family was complicit (or in the case of his father’s golf tournament, actively involved), his “mistakes” prevented the fraud from continuing, and got the money donated before the family found a chance to use it themselves. He completed the inevitable exposure. So you could say Jirard did the best thing; let one little anonymous tip ruin an entire scheme. He could have ignored the discord call, let his family know that they were getting found out…but he accidentally exposed everything and tried to handle it himself.

His family can't do a crap for him outside the Internet, where he makes his money, so yeah, It was better to donate a part of the fraud

What is wrong with ProJared? When Jirard got into a controversy he defended him, even though the second Jared himself got into controversy Jirard abandoned him IMMEDIATELY and even donated to 3 charities which is hilarious considering it took him 10 years and getting caught to donate to his.

Well, ProJared had an adult Snapchat that anyone could get into as long as you said "I'm an adult".
Pair that with the fact that he appeared on Nickelodeon and the tons of children in his fanbase, there's a 95%+ chance that children were exposed to his nudes whether he "intended it" or not.
I saw his Sailor Moon picture without ever searching for or knowing it existed.
All the relationship crap was just dumb drama showing all parties were pretty immature.
Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to prove no child saw Jared's nudes, and there's not a lot of reasonable doubt there, especially in the court of public opinion.

His father sounds like a very emotionless and buisness focused man. Someone who is likely very good at making and saving money. Someone who is probably a master of tax loopholes. He (his father) doesn't sound like an emotional and charitable guy who would want to run anything thar wasn't "pro-profit", but yet he ran a non-profit. It most likely was a tax saving play from the beginning. His dad probably coached him through setting it up. Imagine how furious he is now that his Son has managed to blow that whole scheme right out of the water.
