Do you need a specific bit to unscrew it?
Are you asking if you can use a torx bit to remove a phillips screw? Buy this amzn.to/4j8dvdZ and then use what fits best. Don't put the star in the cross hole.
Hey i also have the same laptop but it is showing an error message like 'detection error on storage device (m. 2)' what should i do to fix it?
Replace the SSD and clean install windows on it.
Is it a sata or nvme?
Nvme
What maximum ssd capacity does it support?
There's no max
I think this video must have more likes .
More likes would be nice :)
Bro i have same laptop but its not turning on and the charging indicator also doesnt lit up when i am charging it
@@Mmc1021 sounds like a fried motherboard. If it's not a dead battery from a bad charger/charge port, then it's a fried motherboard. You can try a battery drain, but if still nothing, try a new charger or charge port.
Can i upgrade the battery for this laptop ? Mine only lasts 2-3 hours (3-4 on battery saver)
There are 2 batteries.
@ItsBinhRepaired so it's not possible to replace one of them with a powerful battery or something like that ?
@brschahredine121 nope
@@ItsBinhRepaired is it harmful for the battery if i start working with the charger on ?
@@brschahredine121 you're more likely to fry the motherboard/logicboard
Check what cpu you have and what i size ram it supports. That is what determines the max ram.
The max is whatever you can buy and fit in the slots. Lol
@@ItsBinhRepaired I think the processors support 32 gb with 2 slots so 16gb per slot. However the unit only has 1 slot so 16gb +the 4gb onboard ram.
@@aironwhite6533 it can support over 128gb
@@ItsBinhRepaired What cpu is in it? I don't think there is any thinkpad cpu that supports 128gb ram and certainly not in one stick.

I have this thinkpad and it's taking a long time to boot up. The start button fails, I don't know if I'll be able to change it
Hmmm not sure
Hello, does T460s support double hard disk ?
I have 128 sdd and i want add another 256gb .. can i ?? Or i only have the right to one
Double? Not sure. Is there another slot? I usually mention all I know in the videos.
@@ItsBinhRepaired no i didn't find another slot
I think someone lied to me .. Thanks for your responding ❤
Usually I just clone the small drive to a larger one.
I have the same laptop. But when I press power on button screen flickers and laptop just shuts down and restart on it's own . (and also I saw bunch of ants coming out of the lap keyboard) do you have any idea what the problem is?? pls reply
Might have spilled some food in there
@@ItsBinhRepaired any solution
@kishan_draws likely need a new motherboard and other parts. Not worth it.
@@kishan_draws maybe buy used of the same model and transfer the hard drive.
Hello, does T460s support M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD?😊
I believe so
Thank you 🎉🎉
@@alexdong920 no problem
so where is the hard drive? so i can take it out please and put it into my external hard drive and plug it into my new computer
@@mrssosaa it uses an m.2 ssd
@@ItsBinhRepaired thank you
@@mrssosaa no problem
Can i use that wwan card slot for m.2 ssd ? 2260 size
Not sure
You can use fora second hard drive. Just need to get the correct size and supported type..
@@aironwhite6533 i tried put the m2 ssd 2242 on that port, but it's not working
@@muhamadagungmaulana7399 What type? I think thinkpads just support the m.2 sata ones not the nvme.
@@aironwhite6533 the device is t470s. It has 1 nvme pcie 3.0 2280 size. And a wwan card, which has a B-key M.2 Sata port 2242 size (the port i said i have tried but it doesn't work)
