I always thought bluing and blackening wdre 2 diffeeing things. I wonder if the chrome or nickel plating is a factor. I thinknit is a greatc solutuon for rust covered oarts. I'm glad you blackened the foot.. i wascthinking you were going to do the main caating in bluing, not the screw on bits. Interesting for sure.
