Hi Everyone and Welcome to Promethean Sewing Machines, where I am unashamedly rebelliously creative when it comes to taking old forgotten sewing machines and bringing them back to life in a beautiful way.
    Meet my new project:
This is the final part for this machine and I am in love with her. Such a little blushing rose. She goes together like a 99 for the most part. Enjoy!
    ~Marie

I think my favorite part is the all brass stitch length indicator, it just matches what you did with this one perfectly! Great idea 😊

I love her, Marie - it's an incredible transformation and hard to believe she started off as that black, bedraggled street urchin you started with. The stitch length plate works beautifully with her colour scheme too. That was an inspired decision.

Amazing paint job! Man, I have so much to learn! I love the common-sense approach. Put a drill on and spin it! You don't sandblast to prep the sewing heads, correct? Just hand sand and chem. strip?

I've done it so many different ways. With my new stripper dip tank I won't be blasting them again, hopefully. :)
