This is such a weird comment, but I have been waiting for this video FOREVER. :) I am sooooo glad that you posted. When I saw your video, I thought that my eyes were playing tricks on me. lol. I am starting the diy locking process. Maybe I should video document my journey as well. Thanks for the inspiration.
Awesome your grid is beautiful. You're doing an excellent job with your hair. I'm a diy'r too. November makes 4 years for me. I truly love my hair. Keep up the great work.
@@muthamystic3704 Well I first watched a lot of videos to determine what pattern I needed to use. I started with 4 point rotation. But you have to focus on getting your grid parted correctly. Once you do Thats, depending on the size locks you want, then you decide how small your parts will be. I locked my hair from tip to root. You have to have patience, it is a long process but so worth it. 😉😉😉
@@muthamystic3704 You're very welcome. I wish I had done it sooner. I absolutely love my hair. I did my sister's hair in June. She loves them. You will be so proud of yourself. I also use the Oragie locking tool. It is amazing. Don't rush and enjoy the process. Once you have then done always braid and band to prevent bunching and separate and stretch after every wash. If you have any other questions you can email me. Kasperg08@gmail.com
Good to see you. Glad to hear you are progressing academically. Your hair is beautiful and is also progressing beautifully. Thanks for the update I really appreciate that you took time to do this outside of your busy schedule 🙌🏿👸🏾😍👌🏿
I love a fresh retightening too! For me it is that fresh relaxer feeling. My hair hair tightens to the scalp so retightening relieves my scalp so much!
7:45 - 7:50 I have never gotten the whole "wash DAY" process, I swear i just wash it in my shower, leave conditioner in for 3 mins, while I shave/etc, and rinse out. I. Just. Don't . Get. It. It takes like 10 mins. I wash my hair often too, like 2-3 times a week, cuz bet. product build-up and walking around all over the city, it gets gunky pretty quickly.
Washing my hair takes 2 days. One for washing, conditioning and drying. And one for plaiting and moisturising. My fingers r usually shredded afterwards.
Hey👸🏽! Your locs are beautiful! Glad to hear that your Mum and her locs are doing great also. Keep up the good work with school and self maintaining ❤️🖤💚
Thank you. Her hair is doing great. And yes I'm in nursing school. I've been wanting to do an update on my mom's hair but I'm living 3 1/2 hrs aways so it's been hard.
First off, thanks for sharing this JAM😄. CONGRATS to school-get it.. Thanks for reminding me to be patient about my hair becoming fuller 😊😊. Your hair is BEAUTIFUL~....♡♡ Oh, and how's moms hair doing? Will you guy's be doing a video soon w/ her hair progress?
