"I want to prove to myself I'm capable of things I could not even imagine" -- THIS!! I've used this so much when training for triathlon, half marathon, group fitness certification... love this! and you've inspired me to try and get back into running after I had to stop a few years ago due to hip issues so thank you!
So happy it resonates with you!!! Also good luck on getting back into running, listen to that Boyd and your hip, then get out there and crush it! YOU GOT THIS 🧡🧡
I’m rooting for you SkyGirl5 you can do it. You will be surprised how much your body remembers how to run, muscle memory. You might be starting over but it will be easier then the first time you started.
This literally brought me to tears. It was so validating. Everyone (but my immediate family) seems to have a comment about the time I carve out for my goals. But I'm not doing this for them, I'm doing it for me. :) Thank you for your honesty, and for sharing your journey with us!
I love this! This year has been the hardest of my life. About 19 days ago, I decided to take a lesson from your “I ran for 30 days” video and decided to workout at least once a day. About two weeks in that turned into twice a day because it reminded me of how much I love working out. I applied and got into nursing school and I’m completely changing my life. I love this because it started as “take one breath at a time” to now just take the next step. Thank you for your amazing channel. It’s helped in so many ways!
I've been researching to death the details and everything it takes to do a triathlon and I had this debilitating thought that I couldn't do it because I am not fit enough, small enough or athletic enough. Girl this just made my decision for me ❤ thanks for being so real and inspiring! Gotta go swim now 👋🏼👋🏼
THIS is your sign Kay!! Funny when words come out of our own mouths we don’t know where they are coming from. I feel now they came from the universe to tell you that YOU ARE ENOUGH! Everyday you’ll get 1 step closer. YOU GOT THIS!! Happy swimming ☺️
In my late 30s I thought I was too old to lose weight and be fit. Train like an athlete. The last five months, I have taken on the mantra, it’s never too late. I workout every day and it’s become my favourite part of the day. One foot in front of the other. Some days are a struggle but afterwards I accomplished something and I feel great. Thank you for being such an inspiration with your videos. Without your channel, I would never have started this journey when I was at an all time low with my mental health. I feel you have saved me. You deserve all the happiness and success.
Omg I love this video so much. I also live in Downtown Vancouver and am a runner but not like you. I can relate to so much of what you said! Thanks Keltie❤ and congratulations
Been watching for years and years, you never cease to amaze. You have such an open and honest view and I appreciate your vulnerability to put it all out there to others. You have a way with words and incredible writing skills, I shed a tear literally. 💚 go pet a dog, you deserve it
Having you as a part of this community means the world to me Kali 🧡 I looked forward to your comments every week. They never go unnoticed. Thank you for being along for the journey through all the ups and downs. Go drink some water Kali 😘😜
I might be a few months late to the party but, coming from an extensive martial arts and weight lifting background, I would say your on the right track, ignore the haters, but i would urge that you listen to your body (for example if i'm putting 90% on the bench, I'm not going back to bench the same the next day as my body needs the recovery from triceps and chest so i'll switch it up to biceps or shoulders as an example) I'm glade your your keeping to your drive, despite the haters you do have atleast one supporter here
This was just amazing ... I've been in a bad head space with my fitness journey recently, not in terms of motivation to go to the gym but in terms of feeling good enough and worthy and this video just brought me to tears. Thank you.
Amazing!! I love what you said about showing up for 100% of what you were capable of doing! I’m currently on day 831 of my running every day streak, and I’m so excited to have found someone else who gets it! People ask me the weirdest questions about why I’m doing this, and sometimes it seems that they are bothered by it. I feel like you so eloquently captured many aspects of my why (and also why it’s no one’s friggin business!)! Thank you for sharing :)
This is nice. Not everyday that you see a video that doesn’t lie, doesn’t bs but it understands the pain of winning and makes no mistake about communicating that message. Very rare indeed. Purest of winning mindset and no bs to the core. Added to my watch later ;)
Sorry if this comes comes from out of no where - but I love, love how you also document times in your fitness journey where you "failed".. I got sick and went for a hike with my bf (while sick) and i could not do the entire hike without leaning on every single tree for support towards the end and to this day i feel ashamed, upset and in a bit of a rut since then. This video motivated me to stick to my journey and I just wanted to thank you for being super realistic and not just documenting every good fitness moment - it is because of you that I wanna keep on going. All the love Xx
I like how you said: "This isn't a motivational video".As a person who was never into the sport and just started running this year along with strength training, and not only started but also fell in love with it, your videos give me so much inspiration to grow and see in there, who is this person I can become by running, staying consistent and disciplined and literally just showing up!!! amazing! you don't stop to surprise me and I love this idea that only you can define that you are an athlete 😍 I'm ready for today's run🏃♀🏃♀🏃♀

I love you so damn much Keltie 😍 I have just hit a milestone with my journey, finally weigh below 100kg (98.2) for the first time in 5+ years. My job gets me walking up to 60km (sometimes more) and I will try get my but out to walk along the shore on a day off. Small changed really adding up. even cut massively down on smoking. Within September I want to be back at the gym and get my PT once a week and swim once a week, get the muscle back again. I can't idolise unrealistic standards for my body anymore. I want to get stronger (I am naturally short, stout wee Scottish woman) but as always your videos help me put things into better perspective about what my body is happier doing. Thankyou as always, I think I would cry if I ever got to meet you just to thank you for always being yourself and inspirational. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Grym video! 🙏
My biggest fear with running is listening to everyone tell me it’ll ruin my muscle growth from my training- but I love to run and this just motivates me to get in a run. Since I was little, I have always just loved to run. Now I’m looking into becoming a CPT, wanting to make fitness, this passion of mine, a reality. But that starts with me reminding myself to do what I love, not the mold others want me to be. I have to do it for me and this was that reminder I needed to blur out the noise, not care so much about the aesthetics appearance and just do what I love to do because I love to do it. I was never an athlete, never went to school for fitness but rather I loved art and went to school and got my bachelors in business. This video is inspiring because it just reminds you to take a step back, and remind yourself to just do what you love. Get that self care in, because you deserve it. Thank you Keltie. ❤️
If you do what you love everyday you’ll always be taking 1 step toward where you’re meant to be going, and if that isn’t loving your best life I don’t know what is 🧡 The myth running kills your muscle growth needs to stop. Unless you’re trying to be a Olympic marathon runner it’s totally achievable to build muscle and run (and they often help each other out). Just make sure you don’t replace your weight training with only running, find a balance of running enough but not too much, and always fuel your body. Now that’s how to train like an athlete, look like an athlete, and you are an athlete 🧡
@@KeltieOConnor I focused too much on the aesthetics of how I wanted to look, when really that doesn’t matter if it ruins my perspective of doing something I enjoy! I always know I can look to your channel for inspiration and reminders about doing what I love. I won’t give up lifting cause I love the workout and feeling strong, but I have to stop giving in to outsider perspectives when all that really matter is what I do for me! I can’t wait to incorporate running back into my workout program! Thank you! 😍
This is why I'm so thankful for you and your channel! I wish I got to meet you when you were in Toronto, but who knows? Maybe I'll see you in Vancouver or some other part of the world 😊
I love running, it's just too damned hot in Texas. I ran during winter. I stick to the gym during the summer but I hate treadmills. I have a trainer to keep me in shape and I am also an instructor. I will join you soon when it's cold. Lovebyour videos.❤️
Thank you gabby 🧡🧡 I’ll try and tackle that in an upcoming video. If you watch my video “30 days to become a runner” I posted back in April I believe I cover that ☺️
I don't run every day because I know too many older people who did and their knees are shredded from decades of it. I believe there are other exercises that are less stressful on the joints. Especially knees. But never stop working towards your goals.
I was running every day for a few weeks and pulled something. Now I am kinda apprehensive about starting back. I was trying to build up to running a 5k everyday. I guess that was too much for me. Thank you for your video I may start trying to do a mile a day again.

THANK YOU KELTIE! We need more people like you! 🙌❤✨
So inspiring Keltie! Have a knee injury can’t wait to get back to running 🏃♂️
Awesome to read about your journey! Sadly that myth has been around a long time but varied training is the best! ✨
Thank you! 😍
I needed this today. Thank you. 💗
Truly amazing Keltie! Thank you, your mentality and self awareness is amazing and very admirable! 💪🏽♥️

That sentence, to feel like an athlete. That’s it! 😊
This is why I'm so thankful for you and your channel! I wish I got to meet you when you were in Toronto, but who knows? Maybe I'll see you in Vancouver or some other part of the world 😊
Thank you for being a part of it 🥰🧡 I wish we met up too!! I’m planning on getting over to Toronto soon, hope our paths collide then!
I love running, it's just too damned hot in Texas. I ran during winter. I stick to the gym during the summer but I hate treadmills. I have a trainer to keep me in shape and I am also an instructor. I will join you soon when it's cold. Lovebyour videos.❤️
Truly incredible. 💜
Hey I’ve been watching for years and literally love you. Can you do a video on different running shoes and what kinds you like and why? Thanks!!
Thank you gabby 🧡🧡 I’ll try and tackle that in an upcoming video. If you watch my video “30 days to become a runner” I posted back in April I believe I cover that ☺️
So well said!

Amazing video♥️
I don't run every day because I know too many older people who did and their knees are shredded from decades of it. I believe there are other exercises that are less stressful on the joints. Especially knees. But never stop working towards your goals.
Love this!
You’re amazing!!
Thank you Megan!!
@@KeltieOConnor I'm writing a book for the first time. It's so hard. This inspired me to keep going. So thanks!! And maybe I'll run today too.
I’m an athlete too. You rock Keltie. I’m on about day 550 I think
I was running every day for a few weeks and pulled something. Now I am kinda apprehensive about starting back. I was trying to build up to running a 5k everyday. I guess that was too much for me. Thank you for your video I may start trying to do a mile a day again.
