Why I run, not depressed, motivated, fitter, stronger, better, more energy, better sleep, better eating, no better high drug then running, it's a religious discipline were you can improve or change the way you do it, it's a fantastic metaphor for life, and this RUclips creator gets it because what he has said is exactly what I feel and think about running. Nick I wish you all the best brother keep doing what your love!
I remember when I was younger my uncle and I use to run every morning , but when he moved we stopped running together and I lost my love for running. But ever since I started watching this channel I found that love again. I’m currently preparing to run a marathon ! Thanks nick 🤘🏽🏃🏽
You don't know how much I needed to watch this. My first day of PT with the local Marine Corps Officer Selection Office was today, and out of about 40 people, I was the slowest during the runs. Dead last. It pissed me off because I knew I should have shown up prepared, I was so mad at myself. But that's life. You going through the motions and start seeing the things you're lacking in. I have until April to make the next OCS class, and from this point on, I'm not giving up on my running goals. Thank you, Nick! Please, keep me in your prayers.
I just came across this video and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm a 56 year old male, and I was and off an on runner for many years, but this year I've been able to stick with it for 6 months now. It's like an addiction for me, I keep waking up in the middle of the night, waiting for 4:15 am to come around and strap on my Hoka's and grab my black Labrador and head out for a run. I was running 5 to 6 times a week, but I started having calf issues, but now I'm back to 3 to 4 times a week. I'm building a good base and hope to up my mileage soon. Great video, thanks.....
I used to run many years ago. At 58 years of age and carrying way more weight than I should, you've got me considering a slow return to that old familiar place where I too would get lost in my mind, ignoring the pains and pushing forward. Thanks for the motivation!

When you run you just have this amazing feeling in your mind and you're kind of meditating at the same time, feel the breeze on your skin and enjoying the small little things that you don't pay attention to at other times.
extremely relatable for me right now I started running for my navy bootcamp july 19 2021 went from 0 running to 30 weekly Mileage. I’ve seen so much improvement in my running and my mental drive I have now. I never understood running and thought its dumb. I experienced a runners high on a 8 mile run one day and I understood why people run. All the days of painful running , that one day I get sometimes where it’s just pleasure and not pain and total mental focus is a addictive feeling. I have a feeling I will continue to run for the rest of my life.

Hey Chris , I started to go to the gym 2 months ago . I also been running daily . The most I've ran so far is 10.97 miles , but not everyday, minimum 4 or 5 miles daily . Can I body build and get big while running this much ? Or does it burn muscle ? I'm addicted to running literally . I dont think I can stop for the sake of muscle mass , but i do want a built muscle physique like him . Oh and I'm clueless with the nutrient and diet aspect of exercising . Advice please ?
Ever since I was 11 I've been running. For motivation, to become a better student athlete, to escape family domestic violence, for the military, to overcome addiction and anxiety, and to improve my health. It's always been my safe-haven. Thank God for the ground and pound!
That was my challenge too when i started running. İ recomend you to sprint 100m after 10 km run. That will prove your mentall strength even better. More your body suffering more it gets better

@@yokiryuchan7655 you're wrong Majima-san. Cold showers are actually amazing.

Same. It’s just me and the rest of the world disappears are awhile. My only time for ☮️
@@jazmineavila2812 yeah exactly this feeling
Try to run without music, in the end of the day it’s you vs you. There’s nobody, no music. Try to get running without running. Lern to enjoy that loneliness while running
@@RH-cf8qlI'll try
Really appreciate this. The craving is real, especially the feeling of outdoing yourself. I also appreciate the feeling of tuning out distractions and being clearer with how your mind operates. That’s something I’m striving for these days is to have a calmer mind
I started running to over come myself. My own self doubt and laziness. I love the feeling of pushing past that pain barrier that weight lifting doesn’t give me.
Teringventje you can’t push past it though. You can only do a certain amount of reps you can’t go for long. With running you are able to push yourself forward even when you are tired
@Teringventje do both
@Teringventje u probably cant run more than a mile
I love how you are turning your body building subs onto running. Some of them would never run unless you did
Today I ran for 5 days in a row. It has improved my concentration & creativity. I feel much better , I was regular at gym but seems i found something i enjoy even better.
Keep it up, Alex.
I run because it's difficult.
I like doing difficult things.
Watching that time get better and better is a high.
You know you want to do it, running feels too good to not do it.

Bro. Thank you for sharing your journey. As a father of twin girls I’ve recently been diving into your world and it speaks volumes to me specifically. I appreciate you legend! Wishing you all the best as a father!
I love this, I literally just really started running and I'm really enjoying it. No if I could just balance my retail work schedule to get more of a routine. Awesome video. Very inspiring.
Sincerely appreciate you sharing this perspective. Honestly supporting me a lot in this stage/phase of my life. Cheers legend wishing you only the best

I am 73yrs old . I had run 2 to 3times weekly for at least 40yrs. Now my distance is 4 km. Lately I discovered excercise is a pakage of cardiac strength balance and flexibility. Absence of any is just like sitting on a three legged chair. Do it all to reap the overall health benefits.
Stress is a known trigger for flow, so I wonder if that's one of the reason's you feel most creative after running for a few hours. Great video!
