Agreed. Went through it myself, the teachers didn't do crap. I don't defend myself now, whenever the rare occasion of bullying occurs, in fear I'll be the one punished. Thankfully, we've gotten older, I'm no longer made fun of mostly every day. At least, not up front anymore.
When I was in the third grade...some bad girls ignored me (they still do) and they didnt wanted to be my friends because I wasnt rich like them and I was so sad, I didnt have any friend (now I have good friends) and I told my teacher. I told her some things they did to me but the bad girls lied all the time. The teacher said It's my fault for having no friends 😞

I suffered bullying all my childhood, and I still suffer from it. I told my parents, they said to me that I should claim I don't care so they would stop. I did. They didn't stop, it only got worse. They would read my diary, break my things, laugh at me, hit me, trap me in empty classrooms for hours straight, and exclude me from everything. When they started hitting me and it got visible, the principal was told about the situation. He gave a two-day suspension to them, and it still continued happening, lol.

I was bullied from kindergarten to sixth grade. When I moved away in sixth grade, I entered a better school system and wasn’t treated badly anymore. Unfortunately, it turned out that I was an emotional mess once my ‘emotional wall’ came down. I went through a period of suicidal thoughts and self harm, along with depression. Now, I’m a sophomore in highschool and am in behavioral therapy, and I’m taking lexapro for my anxiety. I’m still a long way from the way I probably would’ve been without bullying, but I’m improving everyday. Please don’t bully others, it causes so much stress and hurt to those affected by it. I started bullying my sister out of hurt, and still have to refrain from rude comments about her body or personality on a daily basis.

In my school it's the exact opposite. Every time someone pushes someone (even if they're just playing or battling in a fair 1 v 1,which is something very enjoyable and common among boys) or just swears at someone (it doesn't matter if it's just for fun or if he/she really had a reason for it) a teacher comes up and thinks that the dude is trying to kill someone or some sh*t it, which can be quite annoying sometimes.

Bullying destroyed my life. Beaten up, egged, pissed on, rolled down a hill in a garbage can. Picked up in a van, held down and paddled. Completely ostracized. I was so desperate for acceptance that i pretended to play along with this abuse just to get a shred of attention, even just a sentence or a smirk. But all that did was get me labeled as the "fail kid" by the entire student body and eventually ran out of town by a mob of teenagers. No exaggeration. Honestly my only crime was being socially awkward, which is common at a young age with little to no family input asside from survival. The result, i dropped out of school, and developed a really really messed up self image and became basically a hermit for 5 years and disconnected with the world. Now as i've tried to take another swing at life, i've discovered i'm more messed up than i thought. I'm compulsively self conscious, easily intimidated, overly defensive and insecure and have developed some behaviour issues and have never not been in a deep state of depression and hopelessness. Bullying is a thing of the past, but because of it's effect on my growth and development when i was younger, the world feels eternally alien to me because I internally bully myself because the only identity i ever had was "the fail kid" Rationally knowing this hasn't changed anything. It's almost like it turned into OCD or something. I can't function without help, i can't not be self conscious, i cant hold a job; i can't be like everyone else. And yet the bullies are long gone. Moral of the story. Please just leave that kid alone. You could mess them up for the rest if their lives. Also, im Canadian.

I get bullied by the "cool kids" because I've always opposed them ever since I was little. If you're a victim of bullying stop trying to understand and justify the bully's behaviour. Those "cool kids" that bully have the best lives and hardly ever feel negative emotions, they're just terrible people and we have to come together to stand up to them. So the teachers were like wait were are they. But they didn't go in the bathroom yet. Many of my worst experiences with bullying came from the teachers, not the kids. I had special needs, but they treated me like I was just being naughty, and were quicker to yell or punish me when I genuinely didn't understand something.
I was/am the quiet kid, but when someone tries making fun of me, I literally just give them the death stare, so I pretty much haven't been bullied, except maybe in my younger years, which I can't remember.

When you get bullied your demeanor will afterwards change. You start looking at some individuals differently society etc. It scars you for life but it sure can help you deal with the fact that not all people are nice and you being nice can backfire into your face.

Nobody even questioned it, it’s so easy to pull the “it’s just a joke,” or “it’s not that deep.” So people usually pushed it off as me being sensitive, and I blamed myself for it. However, your words do have a very large impact on people’s lives. It’s NEVER okay. It led me to the point of attempting to intentionally overdose. The reason for my size was due to me having to take medication that made it easy for me to gain weight, and incredibly difficult to lose it. So everything came flooding back. I started to self harm- it can be more than just cutting by the way. I started to bite myself, carving words into my skin with a small blade, smacking myself until i bruised. I wanted control over something. I told an adult about people who had been commenting, such as “300 pounds at 13.” “My forehead would be a onehead with *Yua’s* chubby fingers.”

Literally nobody notices me at school, I could skip classes or be absent and no one asks about me at all. Since I'm invisible I don't really worry about how I look when getting ready for school and it saves me so much time. I can get away with incomplete assignments or skip classes ....................OK the last 2 aren't really good things to do but I only do it when I really need to. Bullying destroyed my life.
Beaten up, egged, pissed on, rolled down a hill in a garbage can. Picked up in a van, held down and paddled.
Completely ostracized.
I was so desperate for acceptance that i pretended to play along with this abuse just to get a shred of attention, even just a sentence or a smirk.
But all that did was get me labeled as the "fail kid" by the entire student body and eventually ran out of town by a mob of teenagers. No exaggeration.
Honestly my only crime was being socially awkward, which is common at a young age with little to no family input asside from survival.
The result, i dropped out of school, and developed a really really messed up self image and became basically a hermit for 5 years and disconnected with the world. Now as i've tried to take another swing at life, i've discovered i'm more messed up than i thought. I'm compulsively self conscious, easily intimidated, overly defensive and insecure and have developed some behaviour issues and have never not been in a deep state of depression and hopelessness.
Bullying is a thing of the past, but because of it's effect on my growth and development when i was younger, the world feels eternally alien to me because I internally bully myself because the only identity i ever had was "the fail kid"
Rationally knowing this hasn't changed anything. It's almost like it turned into OCD or something. I can't function without help, i can't not be self conscious, i cant hold a job; i can't be like everyone else.
And yet the bullies are long gone.
Moral of the story. Please just leave that kid alone. You could mess them up for the rest if their lives.

I get bullied by the "cool kids" because I've always opposed them ever since I was little. If you're a victim of bullying stop trying to understand and justify the bully's behaviour. Those "cool kids" that bully have the best lives and hardly ever feel negative emotions, they're just terrible people and we have to come together to stand up to them. Improve yourself by becoming smarter, stronger, competent, and confident. It's always been me against them, but that's what life is. It's called natural evil.

WHY DID THEY LOOK THROUGH THE STALL WHAT IF I WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO THE BATHROOM AND THEY WERE LOOKING AT MY you-know-what. And were like "why are you skipping class bish blah blah." And then they asked is anyone else in there with you and I said no because I didn't want my friend to get in trouble because I don't want to rat her out but then they're like no you're lying because they freaking looked in the stall like that's just stupid I think that's illegal for them to look in the stall like I don't know and I got in school suspension because I skipped the last class the day what you don't really need to take because it's study hall which is stupid I had to miss 7th and 8th period. That damn girl. Wanna kill her. Anyway yeah I hate teachers.
Many of my worst experiences with bullying came from the teachers, not the kids. I had special needs, but they treated me like I was just being naughty, and were quicker to yell or punish me when I genuinely didn't understand something.

When you get bullied your demeanor will afterwards change. You start looking at some individuals differently society etc. It scars you for life but it sure can help you deal with the fact that not all people are nice and you being nice can backfire into your face.

I was often bullied because of my weight. Nobody even questioned it, it’s so easy to pull the “it’s just a joke,” or “it’s not that deep.” So people usually pushed it off as me being sensitive, and I blamed myself for it.
However, your words do have a very large impact on people’s lives. It’s NEVER okay. It led me to the point of attempting to intentionally overdose.
The reason for my size was due to me having to take medication that made it easy for me to gain weight, and incredibly difficult to lose it. So everything came flooding back. I started to self harm- it can be more than just cutting by the way. I started to bite myself, carving words into my skin with a small blade, smacking myself until i bruised. I wanted control over something.
I told an adult about people who had been commenting, such as “300 pounds at 13.” “My forehead would be a onehead with *Yua’s* chubby fingers.”

Sadly, I have had to deal with social bullying through public embarrassment and repeated discomfort from the same people. It sucks so much and I was an angrier person for a while. Happy I stopped it.

I've been bullied before but it wasn't that bad tbh, I guess they didn't even care to bully me much . Probably cuz I'm the invisible kid. Literally nobody notices me at school, I could skip classes or be absent and no one asks about me at all. Some ppl hate it but I personally like it, I'd rather be invisible than be picked on and get bullied. I'm trying to look for the positive side of things lately and I think everyone should do it too. Since I'm invisible I don't really worry about how I look when getting ready for school and it saves me so much time. I can get away with incomplete assignments or skip classes ....................OK the last 2 aren't really good things to do but I only do it when I really need to. Sometimes I get anxious really bad and get anxiety attacks so I'd have to skip and it also prevents me from doing my homework or studying I'm doing all this to calm myself down cuz I know that of I push myself it would get worse.
