- Transformers came from Japanese toylines, and some Transformers characters were exclusive to that country. However, that is changing as new versions of these characters are finding their way into U.S. stores. Captain Kyle checks out 6 Transformers that originated in Japan, but we eventually got versions released by Hasbro. Plus a few bonus figures!
In this video, we start with Twincast, which originally was the rebuilt and revived form of the Autobot Blaster. Then we examine Ricochet, also known as Stepper, who was based on Jazz but was a Targetmaster. The Titan Black Zarak and his little Decepticon pal, Black Roritchi, are included. And then we have two e-hobby exclusives, Detritus and Road Rage. Captain Kyle talks about all of these, their origins, and when we actually got them.

Your videos are always entertaining and informative. I love the fact that you let your cats be cats in your videos. It makes me happy.
The deal with Roadmaster being Detritus is that the United EX toys were not meant to be the same characters as their Hasbro counterparts in the Power Core Combiners line. Roadmaster may be a redeco of the PCC Mudslinger/PCC Salvage mold, but he is not the same guy as either Mudslinger or Salvage. According to the story of United EX, all of the United EX characters with "-master" in their names are actually using codenames and aliases to hide their true identities for the special missions that each of them participate in during the United EX story. Roadmaster is Detritus because "Roadmaster" is the alias Detritus uses while in that body. Every United EX character is actually someone else in a new body, and the author of the United EX story (Andrew Hall, aka "Hydra", who resides in Japan and had worked with TakaraTomy at the time) put little hints and clues to each character's true identity in both their toy bios and in the names of each of their little combiner drones. Or sometimes the story itself would just say who each of them really is.
I didn't even know that Legacy Twincast existed when I found him.(Or the character in general to be honest) It was when I first got back into collecting last year, and I hadn't started frequenting the news sites or RUclips reviews yet. I was at a mall meeting up with my girlfriend, and decided to check out the Walmart while I waited for her to arrive. 1 Twincast, was sitting on the shelf, smirking at me, and I never picked up a toy so quickly to look at. Purchased him immediately. I never saw another one in the wild again after that, so I feel like it was destiny, lol! I then researched him, and watched the episode of his birth once I got home.
Black Zarak was a bad-ass in the cartoon series!

I won Back Zarak on Arbitrary Heros charity stream my first and most likely only titan love him his little friend goes for 150 on Ebay so not getting him or trying to spell its name hahahahaha . I think that tracks mold amazing who dont like breaking plastic to be able to transform you figure only to have it not hold that mode because you broke the clips that hold it need more figure base on him .
